Dylan Thai was tasty, but frustrating. I walked in about 8:15 and the manager informed me they close at 9 p.m. and wanted to make sure I was okay with that, clearly insinuating that 9 p.m. is when they want you to leave, not when they stop taking customers. That was the first sign this was not an especially classy place. They're serious about it--they shut the music off at 8:45, and all you hear is the staff cleaning. Since I had a gift certificate I needed to use that night before leaving the area, I didn't have much choice, so I said sure. Then the Panang curry with shrimp came out, and the shrimp still had the tails on. I had to take each one out of the curry and de-tail them with my fingers. The plate was too small to hold the tails, and they didn't give me an extra dish, so the tails ended up on the table--kind of gross with all the curry sauce dripping off them. The mango sticky rice dessert came with mango still on the rind, so again I had to use my fingers and the spoon to separate it, and the rind also ended up on the table. My napkin got soaked from wiping my fingers with mango juice and curry sauce, and I had to grab an extra one from the table next to me. All of these things were a bit frustrating, but the food was absolutely amazing. I loved it and would come again if I lived in the area--just earlier, and I'd ask them to de-tail the shrimp for me. read more

Stopped in for dinner on a Thursday evening ~6:30. Promptly seated - large dining room. It looked like they had seating outdoors as well. Server was friendly and took our order pretty quickly. The food was really slow to come out though. At one point I was thinking they might have forgotten about us. Pad Thai was fine, a little on the sweeter side that you normally see it. We added chicken to the pineapple curry fried rice and overall it was good. Quite a lot of chicken - would have preferred more pineapple. The pad see ew with veggies was good. Overall a solid experience. Good food but a bit slow. read more

My fiancé and I ate at Dillon Thai the other day after a movie. When we got to the restaurant, we were sat immediately without a reservation and had our drink orders in there shortly after. We started off our meal with the chicken satay. I originally thought that it was going to be too dry, but the peanut sauce was perfect for it! For my entrée, I ordered the Panang Curry and it was good; especially for a cold snowy day. But I was looking to have a little more spice to it. I tried adding chili flakes and chili oil to it, but it really took away from the flavor. My husband had the pad Thai and the noodles were so chewy and delicious! read more

The service was great at Dillon Thai. This is a small, family-owned business with some of the more unique dishes from the regions of Thailand and Laos. We had the green papaya salad (Lao style with more fish sauce), spring rolls, chicken satay, minced chicken dish, and Khao Soi. The Khao Soi was excellent! Chicken dish was spicy and delicious. I cannot recall the Thai name for it, but it had peppers and was extremely flavorful. The waiter asked which green papaya salad we wanted and we opted for the Lao-style one, even though he said it isn't for everyone. It was too salty and fishy for my liking, but glad we tried it. The chicken satay was dry, but good peanut sauce. The spring rolls were just okay. Not something I'd order again. read more

We absolutely loved our first visit to this Thai restaurant. Service was top notch! Both servers were very soft spoken and kind. I ordered the Papaya Salad with salted crab (Laos style) and they suggested for me to eat it with some of my husband's rice and the chicken wings we ordered as an appetizer. It is apparently the traditional style of eating it and they were right. Great idea! My husband ordered a Thai Iced Tea and not only came in a very different presentation (metal bowl) but it was the best Thai Tea I have ever had. The restaurant looks spacious and well organized. It was a full house on Sunday just before 6 pm. The decor is beautiful and o liked the booth that my family of four was seated. We got waters immediately and perused the menu for a while before picking satay chicken, fried rice with crab, beef soup, drunken noodles with chicken, and side of green beans. Folks A I have to tell you that this review is not for the food. We were not able to try it. We were on our way back to Denver from the mountain and unfortunately got stuck on the highway parked for over an hour for a pretty bad accident to clear. Long story short it was past time for the family to eat. We came across Dillion Thai which was closing at 9 pm on a Saturday night. We pulled in at 8:34 and because we were in a rush to get home with a two year old we all decided what we wanted on our way. The lady working there said they couldn't seat us even though others were eating. I let her know that we knew what we wanted to order and would be quick. She said they don't seat anyone past 8:30. Over 4 minutes they lost out on a big ticket order but I get it was getting late. We walked next door to QBole which was slow but they happily sat us and the food was delicious and quick. Perfect. It's a great new Thai restaurant in Dillon! We tried drunken noodle with chicken, beef panang curry, and papaya salad. Service was professional, quick, and friendly. Food was great! We shared the dishes between two people and we finished them up. It was ~$35 including tax and gratuities. As one of the only Thai options in the area, I was excited to give it a shot, especially with the raving reviews. Unfortunately, I think the reviews are biased positive due to the scarcity of Thai food nearby. The protein, both beef and chicken, felt a bit rubbery. The Pad Thai didn't pack quite the nutty and sweetness. If you're craving Thai, I don't think it's a bad move to check it out. Just don't come in with expectations. read more

YAY YAY YAY Thai food in Dillon. And it's good. Quite the improvement over the Noodles chain that previously occupied the space. I had drunken noodles and my husband a fried rice dish both were excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive. Currently, they don't serve alcohol but they are working on getting a liquor license. We are happy to have this option so close by and definitely will return read more

Ordered takeout and was told it would be 110 minutes until it was ready. I got a text an hour later that I could pick up, so drove the 20 minutes to town and then stood in line at the restaurant for another 30. They didn't make it clear what their pickup process was, and they were swamped so there wasn't anyone to talk to to just grab my food. Finally realized there was a second register to line up at and made the drive home - they should clarify this and make a sign for to go orders. When I got home and opened the bag I noticed that the spring roll box was melted in a spot, and when I tasted the spring rolls they tasted like plastic - ended up throwing out (sad because they were $9!) The Pad Thai was fine, pretty presentation but overall quite bland. I've had better at places that don't even specialize in Thai food. And there were only like 4 pieces of tofu which was also disappointing. Would not recommend and won't go back! read more

Ordered three entrees and an appetizer to-go through the website. Food was ready quickly and the pick up was seamless. Unfortunately that's where the positives end. The spring roles had 98% lettuce with a tiny carrot string. Absolutely no fresh herbs or taste at all. Of the three entrees, one was so heavy on the fish sauce it was hardly edible. The drunken noodles were soggy and very spicy, and the other was just okay. Cannot recommend the food for the cost. read more

The lunch special is a great deal. We ordered the chicken Panang curry and the gyoza with a Thai tea. I would have preferred steamed gyoza rather than fried gyoza, but it still tasted great. The Thai tea came in a fun bowl-like glass and tasted very authentic. They were busy, but we did not have a wait to be seated and the food came very quick. I can't wait to go back! read more

My husband and I were really looking forward to this place because of the reviews. Unfortunately, we didn't experience what many have said. Ambience was very nice. It's not a huge place but cozy and it was clean. It was dinner time and it was full. The wait wasn't bad at all and once we were sat we were able to order within a few minutes. We waited and I noticed other guests getting their food even though they arrived after us. But I tried not to think much of it since it was very busy. It slowed down for a bit but still no food. We waited 45 minutes and two parties that arrived after us were being served and attended. Our waters got refilled after we finished our food while others were constantly asked for more water. Food was okay. I ordered the drunken noodles and 10/10 on presentation. But they were lacking flavor and were a bit dry. I wanted to ask for some chili oil but no one came to check on us.
