Definitely an adorable idea brought on by the hubby, to stop by and take care of my serious peanut buttery and chocolate cravings. This Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory has a very decent, private parking lot and lots of other stores all around. It was still a snowy day in January of 2021, and we noticed that dine in was still unavailable. They had the cutest, iconic Rocky Mountain Bear blocking most of the seating area. No worries! We came here mainly to buy some chocolates and leave. We got an additional hot chocolate and a few jumbo sized peanut butter cups. The cup was thick and wide, but very hard to even bite. The service was just awkward and kind of "off." Didn't seem warm, friendly or inviting. Not sure why. The lady was simply quiet and not really explaining any of the varieties of chocolates. The hot chocolate was pretty decent, but I could've wanted some more peppermint. Overall, a very adorable shop, just not my cup chai.

Pistachio almond ice cream and a chocolate covered Twinkie. Yum!

This charming, historic sweet shop located in Frisco opened in 1946 when Robert and Helen Foote…read morepurchased the property. However, its history goes back even further to the late 1800s. It also once served as the town's post office, general store, and gas station. The main building originally consisted of a one-room, wood plank cabin which is still standing today and attached to the larger white main house. The property expanded into its current state as the years went on. Fixtures from it's heyday as a post office can still be seen in the building which adds to all the charm. Inside you'll find an array of sweets available from individual candies to homemade fudge, homemade ice cream, and more. The ice cream is available by the scoop or as a shake, float, or sundae. I love fudge and got a couple of different flavors. They were really tasty, but also very sweet, so a little goes a long way. My favorite was the Tiger Butter and the Raspberry Swirl. I also got a coffee malted shake which was delicious. I would've wanted it to be a little thicker, but it was good nonetheless. It was a little pricey for what it was, $10.25 for a small shake and around $5 per piece of fudge (about 1/4 pound). Overall, this is a cute stop if you're in the area and craving a bit of sweets and I loved the historical aspect as well. To this day, the historic Foote's Rest landmark still remains in the Foote family.

One of them had on the most inappropriate top to be wearing at a work/family establishment. I got a chocolate milkshake and my kids got ice cream. The milkshake was subpar, tasted like chocolate watery milk. They didn't speak a word to us. No hello, thank you, have a good day.,nothing. We spent $40 bucks on icecream at your establishment..the least you could do is say thanks : / Whoever owns this place needs to seriously do some customer service training.

Ambiance Good…read moreservice Food delicious !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I honestly don't like leaving bad reviews, but this experience was terrible…read more I ordered mac and cheese with chili and pork, and what came out looked like plain microwaveable Kraft mac and cheese. There was no chili, no pork, nothing -- just basic mac and cheese that tasted like it came straight out of a box. My friend ordered a burger that was supposed to come with lettuce, blue cheese, and the works. Instead, it arrived with just chicken and bread. That was it. No toppings at all. The water we were given was also incredibly dirty -- it literally looked grey. Service somehow managed to be both overwhelming and nonexistent. While we were eating, the waiter came back to the table every couple of seconds so we couldn't even have a conversation. But when we were actually ready for the check, suddenly there was no waiter anywhere and we fwaited about 15 minutes. On top of that, every request got mixed up. I asked for blue cheese and after about 10 minutes the waiter came back with ranch. Then I asked for lemon vinaigrette (which the meal was supposed to come with) and instead got honey mustard. After explaining again, she came back with... even more honey mustard. We also paid $10 for fries with green chili and received about 15 fries. And one more thing when paying they did NOT bring my card back for about 20 minutes. It was also extremely dark where we were sitting all of the surrounding lights were off but everywhere else in the resteraunt was perfectly fine Overall the food quality, service, and attention to orders were extremely disappointing. Definitely not an experience I'd repeat don't waste your money here.
