Back after 4 years. Looks pretty much the same. Still very popular. Had to wait 30 min for a table for dinner on a Monday. Got the nachos again. Was expecting them to shrink due to inflation, but the nachos are still huge... maybe even huge-r than before. Massive amount of ingredients that's probably enough for two people as a meal on its own. It was also not that expensive given the size, but maybe they were running a special that day. Also I got the beef stew in the bread bowl. Really hearty, strong flavors in the thick beefy stew. The bread bowl is toasted on the outside with a little bit of crisp on the surface, and overall tasted pretty good. In town for shopping and found this place on Yelp! Table for 3 sat within 20 minutes, during what looks like rush hour. We ordered the chicken fried chicken, Mike's Ale Onion Soup with a brew house salad, the DAM Poutine,and the Bison burger, medium. The DAM Poutine with the pork green chile was flavorful and The queso fresco was a delicious addition to it. The chicken fried chicken was battered and golden fried to perfection. Served with garlic mashed potatoes, green beans and sweet onion, topped with creamy chicken gravy. The chicken was moist and the green beans still crunchy..... my fav! The soup was served HOT, love it! Sweet and mouth watering. With a bread, cheese topping broiled to a perfect golden brown. The burger was served medium with lettuce, tomatoes, purple onions, and pickles. Side of fries as well. Despite the loud atmosphere, a good place to stop. read more

Wow! Just wow! We love Dillion Dam Brewery! We came here twice during our trip because of the tasty beer and amazing food! The service was fast and polite! The environment was laid back and welcoming. The beer alone was worth every penny! The lager was so smooth and refreshing! The golden hour Belgian was just as great, simple and tasty! The burgers were spot on and cooked to perfection (not greasy)! I reccomend the Ghostrider burger to anyone who likes spice, 10/10! The wings were crispy and smothered with a yummy hot sauce! We loved the pretzel as well, but prefer salted instead of Parmesan cheese... it was still just as good! The ranch here is also amazing! The cinnamon churro was the perfect way to end our last night in Dillion,CO! We loved this place so much we got matching long sleeve tshirts ! 1000000% reccomend for anyone and everyone! Great service and really good food! Food: we started off with some bison sausage and pretzels. The bison sausage was totally different. It was okay. The pretzels were really good. I wouldn't order that again we probably should have gotten the wings. I got the nachos with sloppy joe on top. Holy shit that meal could easily feed 4-5 people. If I would have known it was that big we would ah e shared it. My son god this honey chipotle chicken that he really enjoyed. The nachos were very good. Lots of different toppings. Huge portion tho. On our way back from Steamboat, we decided to grab some food and a beer (after white-knuckle driving the Rabbit Ear Pass!). When you walk in, it has a open cabin feel with a large bar, upstairs area, and dining area. We had 6 people and the younger kids got a kick out of saying "Dam" about everything. The waitress came over and took our drink orders. I got the Here's Your Dam IPA that had a citrusy hopiness that was delicious. Wish I didn't have to drive back to Denver to enjoy another one! We also got The Rodeo and The Momo with Bison meat. The burgers are huge and the fries abundant. While on vacation, my family went to Dillon Dam Brewery for lunch. The hostess greeted us warmly and sat us immediately. Even though we sat beside the brewery equipment and tucked in the corner, our server came to our table shortly after we sat down and they never forgot about us! They acted friendly and gave some great food recommendations based on their favorite food items. The drinks tasted refreshing and the food tasted good. We ventured out from Keystone to go to the grocery store and stock up the condo. We had lunch at Dillon Dam Brewery. The space is open, mountain log home feel to it and refreshingly non-chain restaurant ish. I had the vegetarian wrap with quinoa. While the wrap was good, the chickpea salad that came with it was just OK, not as fresh as I would like. The seafood chowder was delicious! My husband enjoyed his fish and chips and my daughter liked her grilled cheese. We finished with the churros. All in all, a good lunch, albeit pricey since we were in Dillon. read more

I really liked this place! It was busy on a Sunday afternoon but we still got a seat right away. Service was a bit slow at first but he was friendly and attentive after greeting us. We got the Dam Poutine with pork chili, the Blue Buffalo Burger with a side salad, and the S'mores Bread Pudding. I am a big fan of blue cheese and they really load it up on the burger. The fries were completely smothered in the chili. The dessert was probably my favorite, the graham cracker crust and marshmallow were amazing together. Very rich. First, they closed their patio to dogs--which had to make them one of the only breweries in the mountains to prohibit them--and they've gotten so pleased with themselves that they have apparently gone out of their way to hire the snottiest host staff in Summit County. Excellent, attentive, speedy + friendly service. Jen greeted us immediately from the bar - she gave us seating options at the bar, high top or waiting on a host to be seated. We loved her energy, so bar it was! My husband wanted a cold beer after our day hike, but wasn't sure what to choose. Jen offered as many "splashes" (samples) as he was curious about, which helped him land on the Exit 205. Her pitch of the Soup of the Day sold me, and my husband didn't take long to land on the Pork Green Chili. Winners all around! The Southwest Corn Chowder was generously hearty, and the chili packed a spicy punch in the most tasty way. If we did it again (v likely), we'd go for the bowl over the cup on both options - so so good! We enjoyed the pork in the chili so much that we went for the BBQ Pork Sammy to share. Such a healthy serving of meat on this slaw topped sandwich. We both really liked the fries; the seasoning was yummy with the perfect golden crunch. Typical brewery with tall enormous brewing vats behind glass and open to view. We were directed upstairs along the railing so we could see the openness of the place. The music being played was terrific and pleasantly loud without being annoying so we could talk. Their menu was fabulous and the beer selections were equally great. Lots of German style brews. We ordered the monster nachos and were SO happy we did. They were super wonderful and complimented the gorgeous beers really well. We just wanted to pop in to check it out as we had never been here. Unfortunately, even after a brutal 7 hour hike, the food was barely edible. I got the mushroom po boy as I am vegetarian. Apparently at this establishment, a vegetarian meal means no flavor, not even salt, fries included. Additionally, it was super soggy and not fried all the way through. Lastly, my sandwich came with hair right in top two times. I could see it before the plate was even set down. The waitress dismissed this as "coming from the cardboard." Yeah okay. Update: Went again for beer and snacks. Excellent Oatmeal Stout. We split a small order of nachos with guacamole--perfection! I will post a photo of what was left of the nachos because I forgot to photograph them when they came out. Yesterday was the second time I have visited Dillon Dam Brewery. The first time was several years ago during the height of ski season. Large as it is, it was packed (mostly with adults) and we ended up at the bar for a long time before getting a seat--but the meal was delicious! So beware of ski season. Dillon is a town known for ski tourism. Summer and shoulder seasons are a bit different. Yesterday, Dillon Dam Brewery was much less crowded. We had a friendly, efficient, and non-intrusive server--the best kind! We started with a DAM Lyte lager for me (it was lunchtime and anything more powerful would make me snooze) and a Keenan's Lager for my husband--both excellent. I had the Taco Salad with grilled shrimp. I was very pleased that it was made with crispy tricolor tortilla strips instead of a soggy, fried taco "bowl." All of the other ingredients--lettuce, black beans, tomatoes, jalapenos, and shredded cheese were impeccably fresh and crisp--and it was a huge salad! The shrimp and creamy salsa dressing (on the side) were excellent. My husband had the Bison Sausage with fries and enjoyed it as well. Dillon Dam Brewery's menu is huge, with many appetizers, pub favorites, salads, and soups/chili to choose from. There are quite a few dishes suitable for pescatarians and vegetarian, although vegan options might be a bit tough. Vegetarian and gluten-free items are marked. All of the burgers on the menu, which included signature burgers and design-your-own, can be made with veggie black bean burgers. The dinner menu includes mostly meats but also salmon, plus a Tri-Colored Tortellini. There is a fried shrimp basket on the "Pub Favorites" menu--my guilty pleasure that I will have to return for. Vegetarians could also easily build a meal from the appetizer and salad menus. My only suggestion--and it is a grumpy one because I tend to be a curmudgeon in this regard--would be that Dillon Dam Brewery could use one of the signs that says "Disorderly children will be given an espresso and a free puppy." There were lots of families at DDB for lunch and many children were noisy and unruly--and sound carries in this space. One child sprawled herself on the floor right beside out table, at our feet. Another screeched ear-piercingly from across the room. The upside: DDB is a great restaurant for families and even active children are tolerated. Downside: according to an article in Buzzfeed, unruly kids draw a lot of complaints. I understand that any attempt to crack down on children's behavior by, i.e., asking that they stay seated as some restaurants do, draws rage and ire from parents, especially in a tourist town. Another option might be seating adult couples at some distance from tables full of noisy kids--I recommend it and have asked to be moved in the past. We did not try any of the decadent desserts--will save those for next time. read more

The beer is great! I recommend trying a few. There's a few that have 6-packs that you can buy to take home. Great atmosphere, two levels, cute outside. I recommend the onions rings and chicken tenders, they were really good! I got the New York Strip steak and it was only ok. I wanted it medium rare but it turned out closer to medium well/well done. Not bad tasting though! I still enjoyed it. I recommend going here if you're close-by and need a good evening dinner somewhere close. read more

When I think about my trip to Lake Dillon and the surrounding area, I will fondly remember Dillon Dam Brewery. I suggest you go the earlier the better during peak visiting times because the place does get busy especially since they're following social distancing orders. Michael, our server, was great and very chill. Bison Sausage (4/5) was tasty! Solid portion to share between two if you're not starving. The bratwurst itself was tasty and was complemented by the braised onions. Accompanying fries tasted freshly fried. For $12. 25, I'd recommend! But who goes to a brewery without a beer? You're right. While there, I had the following: Hatch Chile Green Ale (4/5) was a staple I had to try. You'll definitely taste the hatch chile flavoring but don't fret, it's not too overpowering. While drinking it reminded me of a light light light light michelada. Here's Your Dam IPA (3/5) was decent but the Hatch Chile was the winner of the two. Standard IPA if that's your thing. Whenever I'm back, Dillon Dam will always be on my go list. read more

Dillion Dam Brewery is a must stop whenever you are driving into or out of the mountains! It is located fairly close to Silverthrone Outlets. It has plenty of tables and seats at the bar. Service was great, the beef was great, and the food was great! I highly recommend trying their burgers and if you are not a fan of any of their signature ones, you can definitely make a BYO! I thought apps were a bit pricey but they give large portions. read more

What a find!!! Great mountain vibe and even better service. Rachel (Ranch) did a fantastic job as our server. She was attentive and accurate with our drink and lunch orders. This was a great stop on our way to Vail. Pork Green Chile and the Dam Good Red chili were a hit for several in our party of eight. I had the bison sausage and it was so good. Spicy from the jalapeños and served with sautéed onions and brown mustard. We also ordered several Dam wings for appetizers as well as fries for the table. The Dam wings were damn good. Smoked then fried, they were crispy outside and moist inside. The ranch dressing and blue cheese dressings were made "in house" and you could tell because they were both amazing!! The beer lager cheese dip was also delicious. It was served with corn chips. We probably should have ordered two because it was gone in a flash. Several in our group ordered Dam Good Beer! The American CREAM seemed to be a favorite. My husband ordered a growler of it to go! We've been coming here for decades. Been awhile, few years. Now I know why. I had the worst hamburger of my life. It was a charcoal brick with no flavor and hard cheese. Served with about 7 French fries for the low low price of 18.00. What a joke! How does an established restaurant mess up a basic burger? The appetizer was a weird feta cheese dip which was just strange. The $10 tiny slices of cheesecake were mass produced and not worth the money. I don't care if this place is in the mountains, $100 nasty lunch for 2 without any alcohol is absolutely ridiculous.
