We knew it would be busy new years eve but after hor horrible experience at Red Mountain Grill we were willing to wait. It took awhile but we sat at the bar and had a couple of drinks, a great group of bartenders. Our server was excellent, very attentive and professional. The Chicken Fried Chicken was really really tasty, the Schnitzel Sammy was very tasty, the Honey Sriracha Salmon was cooked perfect. All the food was hot and fresh. It's a lively fun place to go. read more

The hostesses at this establishment are very rude. I had requested a table for 4 adults and a child, one of the hostess stated that they would not be able to accommodate me with a table until they saw all of the party of five. The place was crowded and my party was outside waiting for about an hour. The two hostesses at that time gave me attitude stating that they would not be able to sit our party and we had been waiting for an hour. All three standing at the booth agreeing with one another that they would not help me until they saw all of my party. The hostesses only asked me while they sat all of the rest of the patrons. I felt discriminated. They quickly helped others and sat them down as soon as they had their pager. I showed my pager twice and they still did not want to sit me. It was quite humiliating. read more

Back again! Beer specials during happy hour are spectacular, however not all beers on tap are on special. This time it wasn't as busy, plenty of tables. We sat at a high top by the bar and our server was very kind. I got the veggie wrap which came with a side of tabbouleh. The wrap had balsamic vinegar dressing it in which gave it more flavor, but it was basically a salad in a wrap. I was going for something lighter, healthier, and with that said I liked it. But I shouldn't have counted the calories and gotten the Pulled Pork Platter (which I got last year and my boyfriend got it again). It looked delicious and he enjoyed it. I also got the French Onion Soup which was as good as I remembered. Overall, Dillon Dam Brewery is a good consistent sit down stop in our Colorado adventures. read more

My office went here today for a team lunch/meeting. They were SOOO accommodating!!! They let us arrive prior to opening at 11:30 and let us sit upstairs because we needed a plug for all our computers ;) Jeremy was our server and he was great. Got us our drinks to start. Everyone was pumped because they love their beers here. This was my first time here. Their bloodys are perfect!!! Have a great kick to them. Some of us started with soup and salads. My boss had the french onion soup and everyone was raving about how much they like it. I got a side salad with honey mustard. Note: this is not your average honey mustard but Jermey let me know this when ordering and told me there was horseradish in it as well. Yes, sir!!! Wow, what a kick but I liked it. Don't know if I could have a main salad with that dressing but for a side salad it was perfect. Two of my coworkers had the special of the day, basically a philly cheese steak, they really enjoyed it. Two others had the fish and chips and say they have ordered them many times before. I really wanted to eat the coleslaw off of my coworkers plate because he did not touch it and it looked yummy but I refrained ;) I ordered two ball park pretzels with Asiago-Ale Dip. I was really in the mood for pretzels. They were GREAT. Nothing is more necessary on a ball park pretzel then the pretzel SALT. Perfect! AND you HAVE to order the cheese dip. It is a MUST with the pretzels. I will say as I walked down stairs I saw two different tables with wraps that looked KILLER. I have got to try that next time! read more

We LOVE this place! The food is always great, the beer selection is large and the servers are friendly and know the menu. On our last visit we were seated upstairs and our server was very fast and took time to explain beers and specials. The food came out quickly, all of the choices our party made were perfect, prime rib, bison burgers, bison meatloaf. The garlic mashed potatoes are awesome. You can carryout brews in six packs or bombers. We've been here several times and have never been disappointed! read more

come here hungry after a day of snowboarding if you want to eat a lot and not pay a lot! they have lots of veggie options on the menu and there's always (i think) a special available. the sweet george's brown ale goes lovely with the warm pretzels appetizer. the dipping sauce was really good, and i don't like dipping sauce! oh they don't advertise it, but they do have half pints if you want. meals are nicely sized and the espresso bread pudding (or thing like that) dessert is a delicious ending to a hearty meal. i won't forget this place when i'm back here again! read more

After climbing a Colorado 14er, you're hungry, worn out, hungry and not in the mood to be snapped at by your server and you're also hungry in case you forgot. 4 of us came here one Sunday recently after hiking Mount Quandary and were ready to eat the entire menu. Everything started off decently being that we were able to grab seating in the bar area therefore cutting our wait time down for an actual table. The menu is expansive but not overwhelming and there are some very creative and unique choices. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up for all the different vegetarian/vegan options that aren't salads! The beer selection was also impressive but that is where the positive part of this review ends. The girl who served us was, shall we say, less than thrilled to be working on this busy Sunday afternoon. She approached us looking bothered and never once offered us any hint of a smile or welcoming comment; not even a fake smile; a disgusted looking scowl was the main theme of her appearance on this day. I asked if we could do separate checks and she snapped back with "Well, who's going to be separate?!" After that little situation was diffused, we ordered our food and proceeded to wait. Beers were brought out and comments were made after my friend decided she didn't like the beer she ordered. An extra plate of pita bread was literally slammed down with a loud and jolting CLINK after we asked for more for our appetizer. The food was thankfully brought out by someone else and after not checking in with us at all, the original server came back with our checks. It's always a shame when really good food is ruined by really awful service isn't it? I really enjoyed my quinoa cakes and would love to come try out the other vegetarian options they have at some point though. Other positives include interesting and quirky decor, clean bathrooms and a nice big parking lot. Breckenridge is a tourist's paradise and we can choose to dine at many places. I hope the service issue here gets straightened out. I think this place deserves a second chance. Maybe next spring! read more

Good Happy Hour prices, food was ok. Pretzels and Sausages not worth the cost.

Great appetizers. We had both the nachos and soft pretzels both were tasty. This is my second time coming here and ordering the pretzels, if you're a soft pretzel fan I highly recommend ordering them. read more

good selection of craft beer, cannot believe the long wait and crowd on a Monday night.

We heard this place is always packed, but we were able to sit quickly on a Tuesday night for a party of 6. The food was OK. I'd give a 2.5 star if I could. The burger was huge and prepared well, the pulled pork was made good by the apple slaw. I wanted to buy a glass to take home with a deal on buying their beer and you got to keep the glass, but they wouldn't do the speciality bourbon barrel stout with that. The waiter said he'd take care of the glass for me. In the end I ended up paying for the beer and the glass, which was near double their stated deal price. All in all, there are better places to stop and eat in the area. read more

Soup and salads were great! The beer was good just wanted more variety. The waiter was really nice and helpful. The hostess was really out of it though and came off rude. read more

Beer (dam straight lager) was fine... but I ordered the ribeye and it was mediocre. Well, this is not a steak restaurant, so what did I expect? Better. They had the music way too loud for a weeknight dinner. Will skip next time driving through Dillon. read more

We were looking for a good burger and beer in Dillon after a day on the slopes and the Dillon Dam Brewery hit the spot. Menu had many great options besides burgers, our party ended up trying the chicken fried chicken, the pulled pork and the Dam burger. Food and service was great, beer was decent. read more

super fun place to get a good buzz on for a little moolah (the night we went ladies drank FREE-- bonus!). nice atmosphere, live music and cool bartenders. all in all thumbs up. read more

I want to give this place 4 stars. But for one element of our dining experience, they earned each one of the four. Party of 7, Thursday evening. Place is crowded, great energy, seated right away in the near corner of the restaurant back by the brewing equipment. Nice and quiet, great table, we thought. Waiter was good at what he did, got our drink orders, and then it began. I don't know what they were doing back in the brewery area, but they turned a machine on that was so loud we literally couldn't have a conversation with anyone not seated directly next to us. We figured it would end soon, then came the smell of something like cleaning fluids mixed with green olives. We figured it would end soon. Then we asked our waiter if he could find out how long this would continue, and he graciously did. The answer was it would go on for a while. We paid our tab, and left with full bellies of good food. I had a terrific brown beer for $2.75. If I'd paid $8 for the pint I would have been fine with it. I think our waiter felt bad, because as we left, he gave all three kids in our group toys, maybe that is SOP, don't know. Ok, I have one ear that barely works, so I'm hyper sensitive to noise, but this was ridiculous. I downloaded a decibel meter on my phone, and the results were a continuous 85-90 decibels, with pings of 100. That is a jackhammer in a city, look it up. These are noise levels you can't deal with and have a conversation. If they were cleaning the brewery, don't seat anyone at that table. Or, DON'T CLEAN THE DAMN BREWERY DURING YOUR DAMN DINNER RUSH! Try this place, its good, seemed local, great beer, and good service. But I have to ding them for our particular experience. read more

Good service, fun ambience, good chili and other appetizers. Fast. Love the Rocky Mountain root beer.

The Only Reason this review isn't a one star is because the beer was great. But everything else was extremely disappointing. I would never get food here again. It's not even worth a second try. We started with the beer cheese dip that had zero flavor and chunks of who knows what floating around in it. I got the rodeo burger that was dry, not much flavor, and looked like it had been thrown on my plate without much care. It was barely even sitting on the bun. But the worst was the chefs special that my husband ordered. It was supposed to be a spicy chicken and broccoli pasta. The pasta came out without the chicken in it. We mentioned it to our server and he brought the chicken out on a plate to add to the pasta which was fine but the pasta alone was so insanely spicy! My husband did eat most of it and does like spicy food but even he admitted it was out of this world spicy and only ate it because we had a exhausting day and he was hungry. I had one bite and my mouth was on fire. It literally tasted of nothing but crazy spice. Like someone had dumped so much cayenne pepper in it that would be extremely inedible for most people who even say they like spicy food. We won't return. Not even for the decent beer. read more

Such a great spot for some not so healthy food and a great beer. The entrees were super large and hearty. The place is jammed during ski season, so be prepared to wait. But grab a beer while you do! We would definitely return to this place. read more

This was a great place for a beer and burger. Kids loved their food. Try the bison burgers. Awesome.

Great Salads and kids had fish and chips and burger which were good too. . Really great atmosphere and service. They are busy .. so be patient . Beer samplers were great too. read more

Loved this place. We were in Frisco for 3 days and we stopped by this place twice in our trip. There's always a long wait here, but I think its worth the wait. We were a group of 16 and ordered the Chicken tacos, Nachos, Ghost Rider burger and Chili, and many other things from their menu; nothing was a let down. Ambience here is great. Highly recommend this place!! read more

I find myself confused, as I was certain the server quoted me $23 for a growler. I will give the server the benefit of the doubt and assume she thought I was asking about two growlers. This being the case, I will most certainly pick up a growler the next time I swing by (next year, unfortunately). This improves my view of the prices, though we'll have to see how the food is when I stop back in before I revisit my 3-star rating. Thanks, Kim! read more

I wasn't all that impressed. The fries--FRIES!--were mediocre, to the point where I wasn't interested in stealing any off my husband's plate. C'mon, people...any place that serves pub food should really be able to make a decent batch of french fries. My onion soup was good, though it had an overly generous coating of cheese on it, and my husband's burger was "decent". It was disappointingly below-average food, even by lowered ski-town standards. read more

great brew pub with good food and friendly staff the special of meatloaf was GREAT

After a long day in the snowy mountains our group was looking for a low-key restaurant close to our condo (Keystone) with great food and a chill atmosphere. The Dam Brewery was a perfect choice! We started with the Asiago-Ale Dip which was yummy, although a bit smaller than we expected (served in a cup the size of a cup of soup). We had read reviews on Yelp prior to going and read about their Mountain Man Mac & Cheese with Blackened Chicken. Several of us got this and it was to die for - a huge portion (no one finished theirs!) with a creamy sauce that is perfect - not too rich - and the blackened chicken was moist & delicious. Another in our group got a salad with the honey-sesame dressing which was really yummy as well. The final member of our group had the Porky's Platter which he really enjoyed. Finally we split the Granny Crisp for dessert (or as we called it - played dessert roulette by taking a bite & passing it around - last one standing loses!). It was good, although very tart (it's full of granny smith apples) so if you're not a fan of tart apple crisp you might want to make another selection. It was huge - there were 5 of us and we didn't even finish half of it - so order wisely! Our server (Sarah) was fantastic and did really well with our orders, several special dietary requests, and split checks. All in all a great experience and we will definitely go back on our next trip. read more

I've heard for so long how delicious the Dillon Dam Brewery is so it was our first stop once we arrived in town late Friday night. Maybe someone built it up a little too much for me. The service was so-so; very friendly, but we were there at the end of the night, and although it was still crowded enough that we had to wait for a table, we felt like we were competing with the silverware-wrapping and peppermint-tray-refilling for the next day when we wanted something. We were also rushed to order before the kitchen closed even though we waited 30 minutes for a table. Clearly staffed by a ski-bum crowd who wanted to get out of work as quickly as possible. The food was pretty good, although I would recommend sticking to the typical brewpub fare (sandwiches, burgers) and not doing one of the more expensive, fancy dinners, which were a disappointment. I heard afterwards that the philly cheesesteak is amazing. read more

Incredibly impressed. Had the imperial saison. Delicious. Nothing generic about it. Full bodied. Great flavor. Disappointed they were out of the barleywine. I'll definitely be back to try it! Had the winter squash pasta. Goat cheese topped. Pretty good. Squash could've been cooked a little longer. A little too crunchy for a cooked dish. Beer more than made up for it!! read more

Pleasantly surprised. We came on 4th of July and it was busy! The service was decent considering how busy it was. The hamburger was pretty good. The fries were great. The frozen margaritas were also good. Good place to come with kids. Kind of loud, but for a brewery it was exactly as expected. Would come back. read more

It was ok. The nacho app was great. Kid burgers were charred and my kids didn't eat it. The waitress took them off the bill but still. Pricy for my spinach salad w/grilled chicken. Not worth the price. Beer good. Root beer good. read more

My husband and I came for dinner and were sadly quite disappointed. We started with the trout dip, which was quite tasty, but came with four small triangles of pita bread, veggies, some pecans and dried apricots. There wasn't near enough pita for the amount of dip, but it all tasted good. We also started with sharing two beers, both barrel-aged specials. They were alright-ish, but neither of cared to finish ours. For our meal, we had the mountain man macaroni and a schnitzel sammy. We shared both. Hubby liked the schnitzel alright but it wasn't my cup of tea. The apple slaw was weird and the whole thing was soggy. The schnitzel wasn't very authentic, but tasted pretty alright. The macaroni was not great. Like, not very good at all. My momma needs to go teach them how to make some real macaroni. It just lacked something, but still of course was not revolting. Service was good and the environment was fun. We had a good time, just left with that "dang, I'm full, but with food that wasn't great" feeling. Ah well. You win some and you lose some. read more

The best craft beer in Summit County. We stopped here for lunch ended up spending the night. The food , service and drinks are excellent!

Our favorite first stop when we get into town. Beer is great, and the vegetarian wrap is so good and I'm not a vegetarian. The hummus is flavorful. We sit at the bar to eat and drink, service is OK. They give locals better service, which I guess is to be expected? read more

The manager contacted me which was nice. Doesn't really fix the experience we had there but it was refreshing to see management that cares.

Average. Service was actually less than desirable considering we ordered a bottle of wine. Food was over cooked and not what we ordered. Host made little attempt to make it ok. We were not asking for much but above afternoon out on a holiday weekend. He waited on those around us quite frequently less our section. Not my favorite place. Only worth coming for beer.
