Food was awesome! Staff was great! Beer sampling was also a hit! Totally recommend to eat here, if you have a chance!

I-70 is closed... time to go to Dam Brewery !! Despite being slammed with stranded traveler's they were on the spot with food and drinks !! Had the chicken fried chicken and I want more !! Good portion's and well prepared !! the beer is AWESOME ! read more

Great burgers! Great service! Try the green chili beer, as well as their "stash" beers!! Everything was awesome!

This is really the only go-to restaurant in Dillon/Silverthorne and it can get pretty crowded after a big ski day. The food is consistently good and the menu is extensive. It's really glorified bar food, but they do a good job with just about everything. The prices are reasonable and the beer is decent. The service can be spotty, as the teenage servers seem to be overextended at times. Still, all in all Dillon Dam Brewery is solid in almost all aspects. read more

Always a fun place to stop for drinks and grabbing some food. A local hang out when the sun goes down.

Awesome! Years ago, I visited the Dam Brewery and wasn't impressed. Over springbreak (skiing), my friends pulled us their with the kids. Burger was great, salad solid, sweet potato fries = RIDIC! Beer and drinks were reasonable. Kids meals were cheap and as usual they loved the free refills. read more

This place is great! Fantastic beer and food! There is truly not a bad item on the menu and our server was great at suggesting beer to food pairing options read more

Delicious! We have been coming to the Dam Brewery for many years. My kids liked to go because they wanted to say the name. We go because the food is consistently great! read more

Great beer, heartily enjoyed my Holiday Ale and Bock (and who wouldn't with 9% alcohol by volume!). Food wa good too, had ribs and a smokehouse buffalo burger. Burger was nice, but overcooked (ordered medium rare, got medium). Service was quick and friendly, orders were taken quickly and glass (water an beer) were kept full. Prices weren't too bad, pretty much to be expected. read more

Visiting from CA, great beer happy hour and appetizers! Nice environment and great view when sitting upstairs of the mountain.

I have had multiple great meals at this brewery. The hamburgers and sandwichs are delicious, the atmosphere is great and the beers ahh I've had better but I won't hold it against them. The beers were your average run of the mill selection, nothing that wowed me but nothing that disappointed. I do recommend going to Dillon Dam brewery, but I would also suggest doing a brewery crawl around Dillon and checking out the other local fare. It will be a good time. read more

With all the mixed reviews I wasn't sure what to expect, but I was pleasantly surprised when I was done. I started with their wings ordered extra hot. They weren't mind blowing, but they were hotter than I was expecting. They came in the brewery's chipotle/bbq sauce, which was very full flavored, even if I wouldn't want my wings served in it every time. I was also surprised they were fried. The chicken came out almost falling-off-the-bone juicy. To that I added the poblano flat iron steak. It might not have been the absolute best cut of meat, but it was still surprisingly really good. It came out rare, just like I ordered it. I think their grill is just a tiny bit too hot, based on the coloring around the outside of the meat. My wife got the mediterranean salad with salmon added on. She was very happy with the quality of the salad. The salmon was just friend plain, so it wasn't anything to get excited about. The only thing that was odd was that we ordered the wings during happy hour at the bar, but half price apps only happens on Monday-Thursday. So that was surprising. The waiter explained it nicely and says he gets that question a lot. Overall the service was great too. I'm definitely a fan. read more

I ordered the steak fajita style quesadilla and while it was solid, it wasn't great. Regardless, it hit the spot. I also enjoyed the Sweet George's Brown Ale. The beer was good but the best thing about the Dam Brewery is the view of the Rockies. read more

Great place for lunch or diner. We always make at least one meal when we're in the area. Food is always good, the variety is excellent and the staff friendly. We would recommend end to young and more mature, oh by the way the beer is not bad either. read more

i started the day on an early flight from Boston, followed Google's directions over Loveland Pass in a rented Ford Focus, was relieved that there was only a little snow, made it to Keystone and found the rest of my coworkers, rented a snowboard, got some advice from a lift operator to find easy trails higher up the mountain, found those easy trails very difficult indeed my first time on a snowboard, took two hours to get down those easy trails falling down dozens of times and finally met up with the gang in the evening, bruised and sore. i needed a beer and some good food. A few years back i'd actually been here before; i think i watched Game 1 of the ALCS here back in 07. i'd forgotten how superb their beers really were; the stout and the pale ale are really outstanding. The former is substantive, yet easy to drink, and the latter has a really great subtle hoppiness. i had some awesome mac and cheese with some tasty blackened chicken on top that totally made me forget how beat up i was. Even though it was a friday night and absurdly busy when we got there, we still got a table for six in not too long, and could amuse ourselves drinking beer until then. i don't think i'd have survived to hit the slopes again the next day without such a good meal. read more

Great micro brewery! There's a great selection of beers on tap ranging from stouts to pale ale to lagers. We had pretzels for appetizers. Stick with they special house mustard. Its cheaper and delicious. I had the southwestern burger which was perfectly prepared medium. The service was fast. Plan ahead because this place gets really busy especially on weekends. read more

Beer is good, but the food, not so much. Raspberry Chipotle Stout, yum! We waited quite a long time for a table. Appetizers and dinner all came out at the same time about 45 minutes after we ordered. The food was just so so. The green chili burger seemed to be the best thing on the menu. Beer stew had about one piece of meat in it. Took forever to get a side of au jus which should be standard with the prime rib. All in all, staff is very friendly, and if you're looking for good beer, this is your place. If you're looking for great food, you'll need to go somewhere else. read more

Good beer and bar food. Also, a HUMONGOUS chef's salad! Would definitely recommend stopping by here if you're in the area.

This place is delicious with their own unique beers. The service is really friendly and the food comes out quickly and efficiently. The wings with the Asian glaze were really really good. The mac and cheese was a little dry but not bad, the turkey wrap was delicious, but the best thing we got was the pecan trout. Everybody like that dish the best! read more

Food and service was great! Got the chicken fried chicken, and it was absolutely amazing! Seafood chowder was delicious as well. Great beer selection! read more

Best Damn bison burger ever!! One of our favorites every time we go skiing!! Plus amazing beers brewed in house. Love the Damn Straight Lager!! This is a must if you are near Keystone or Breckinridge!! read more

Great food, well presented.music a little loud. Good value. Burger was very good, another had salmon was excellent and third had trout, also very good. One beer and sharable large desert was $80. read more

No wait on this Monday night at 7pm. The food was delish. I got the Mexican cheese soup and I tried a piece of my husbands rodeo burger. We are here for 3 days and we are planning to come back so I can try the mac and cheese. Highly recommend. read more

We came in town for the night and decided to eat here for dinner! This place was amazing. All the food came out fast, hot and delicious! Zach was incredible! I recommend coming here! Also the beer was amazing!!! Especially the hatch green chili ale! read more

Large servings, you could probably split it! Even though it was very busy, we didn't have to wait long. Nice atmosphere. Even the kids liked it! We got the nacho appetizer and it was pretty much a meal for two people! read more

Great food and beer selection. We had the prime rib and burgers, both were very tasty and the portion sizes were good.

After a hike up near Climax/Leadville, I decided to stop into the Dillon Dam Brewery on the way home to make use of my American Homebrew Association card, and get a discount on some grub and beer. (Spoiler alert: I ended up forgetting to use the card. Damn! Or, Dam!) Inside the atmosphere is fine, and the service is adequate. The beer was actually pretty tremendous, but the food left a lot to be desired. I ordered the Zurich burger, with buffalo, medium-well. This burger was advertised as a delicious mouth-watering patty with bacon, cheese, and guac. It was certainly a big patty, and it had bacon and cheese, but the only thing that was watering was the burger. Apparently medium-well means Medium-rare, here. I could've sent it back, but by the time I truly realized the extent to which it was undercooked I was halfway through. And at that point It's just a waste of product for me to send it back, so I finished it anyway. I've also rarely had a burger with as little seasoning on it as that one. A little salt and pepper can go a long way, but the patty itself was bland, and left the flavoring to the bacon, cheese and guac. But there lies the other problem: Their guacamole was some of the worst I've ever had. It was soupy, tasted like it had a gross amount of sour cream filler, and was absolutely flavorless. The bacon was great though. Thick, crispy, bacon-y. I was disappointed with the food, but loved the beer, and the wealth of other menu options mean I'll be back again at some point in the future (aka ski season.) I think next time I'll just avoid the burgers. read more

Stopped here for some beers and appetizers while on our way to Vail. Wings were more bbq than buffalo, but good sauce. Fajita quesedilla was HUGE and very tasty. I had a beer but of course now i can't remember which one but it was good (probably the wheat beer, but i dunno). Service was quick too. read more

Not bad, not great. I went with my two sons who I had not seen for 6 months and, although it was a Friday night, we were seated rather quickly. Peter, our server, promptly arrived for our drink orders. We had three of their house drafts, me a Here's Your Dam IPA and my boys a McLuhr's Irish Stout and Sweet George's Brown respectively ($5 each). The beers were good, but all a bit too "smoky" for my taste, smokiness must be a Dam Brewery thing - Dam it! For dinner we went with sandwiches, me a "Rodeo" ($11.95) with a beef patty, cheddar, bacon, caramelized onions and Bar-B-Q sauce on the side with French fries. The burger was very basic, small and uninteresting, likely a frozen patty of 5-6 ounces max. My youngest (soon to be 29) had the Munich Schnitzel Sammy ($10.95), a breaded pork cutlet and smoked gouda on a pretzel bun, accompanied by apple slaw, beer mustard, and fries. I tasted it and it was also nothing special. A "schnitzel cordon bleu" sandwich would have been much better, but my son seemed to like it. My oldest (30) also ordered a Rodeo but with a bison patty ($4 Extra - $15.95), with cheddar, bacon, caramelized onions and Bar-B-Q sauce, opting to swap Mexican Beer Cheese Soup for the fries. The server asked if he wanted a bowl of soup instead of a cup and my son concurred, only to find out that the price had ballooned from $15.95 to $21.20 when the check arrived. It would have been nice to have been informed of the $5.25 up-charge when placing the order, but so you have it. The sandwiches were decent, not great, the burger patties being a tad on the small side (± 5-6 ounces). My burger arrived with what I perceived to be no caramelized onions, so I sent it back. The server brought the dish back a few minutes later telling me that they were under the cheese while my son's had been on top of his Rodeo's cheddar cheese. Odd I thought, until the check arrived and I found out that I had not been charged for what I ordered (a Rodeo), but for a build your own burger ($9.25) with cheddar ($1.35), bacon ($1.35), caramelized onions ($1.00) for a total of $12.95, a dollar more than what I had ordered and what Peter had agreed to when I ordered it. Rather than make a fuss about the unannounced upcharges, I simply deducted the amount we were overcharged from the 20% tip Peter would have received for the decent, not great, service he provided, leaving him with a respectable 16.5%. Server Lesson Learned: Give the customer what they order and, if you do not, inform them of any upcharges PRIOR to submitting their order, do not surprise us with unexpected charges when the bill arrives. The DAM burger was good, Sammy steak was not much good. Portions are sizable. I wish the staff/waiters were more friendly.

Beers are better than good and the nacho chips stay crisp until you eat them all or they clear the table - fantastic. The warm spinach salad is always fresh and tasty. It does get super packed around lunch and dinner times, so planning is a must. read more

Favorite restaurant in Dillon. We will eat hear multiple times during our week vacation. Today is second day in a row. Love Happy Hour.

Slowest service in the world - will not seat medium size tables even if tables are free because the kitchen is busy but then continue to seat small parties. Overpriced and mediocre food. Plenty of other options - just keep going. read more

Great beer! Good food. I ordered the beer cheese soup and it was okay. My wife ordered the goat cheese salad and it was very good.

The food here was forgettable. If you have a big, apres ski appetite and are looking for high calorie food then this place may fit the bill. Otherwise it is an average microbrewery with above average beer and average food. read more

We stopped here to wait out traffic after a day at Keystone. Layout is roomy. Beers are excellent. Enjoyed the lager and hef. We only got appetizers: chilli cheese nachos and the hummus. They were both ok. Nachos are a large portion and more than enough to share. There were 4 of us and that was pretty sufficient. Great place to stop and refuel. read more

Pretty good. Beer was cold and the food was pretty alright. The place was SO packed that we had to sit at the bar, which is fine, but they sure packed us in like sardines. Basically, we were tired, hungry, and thirsty, needed a place to eat and drink, and we got that here. Would I come back if I was tired, hungry, and thirsty again? Yeah, probably. Would I recommend this place to a friend who was in the same situation? Yeah, probably. Would/do I rave about this place? Naw, it's not that great. Beer was the best part... as it usually is in a place like this. read more

I eat here all the time on my way back from skiing in Summit County. I like the food and the beer a lot, and it's nice to wait out the traffic in this place. If you catch the upstairs at the right time, they have a nice happy hour. It gets pretty crowded at the end of a ski day, so if that's not your thing, you'll want to skip. read more

Good comfort food. Nice service. Cool atmosphere. Wish I had some beer but I was driving!

We stopped here during our overnight trip to Keystone because almost NOTHING else around was open other than the fast food joints. I'm glad we did, because it was pretty great. They had a good selection. I was able to get a cider, which was almost unheard of in these parts. I had the french onion soup, which was fantastic, and my friend had the chicken fajita quesadilla, which was also really good, and big enough for at least 2 people. The service was super fast and very friendly. read more
