You need to know that this store will change your life. If I were rating the concept and the product, it would be five stars. These are clearance items from all around the country, and they are marked down at LEAST 65% already. Then, on a rotating basis, you take off an extra 10-65%, it just depends on what day you go in. If it's less than 40% off I just come back a different day. I've purchased slacks originally priced at $110, marked down to $15, then an ADDITIONAL half off... so yeah, a $7.50 pair of pants with all the quality of their original price. You don't even have to look that hard for deals, everything is that cheap. You can make your money go VERY VERY FAR here. The selection is mind-blowing. I work nearby so I go during my lunch, and in the 45 min or so I spend I can literally only get through the racks in my size of one type of thing--say women's short sleeve tops. Then I have to take another day to go through sleeveless, another day to go through long sleeve... you get the idea. Not to mention pants and shorts and skirts and dresses and fancy dresses and the designer section and then shoes. If I tried to one-trip it I would be here ALL DAY if not two days. Staggering selection. The reason I give three stars is it may change your life but it will probably ruin your day. The clothes are very organized for a clearance-only store, but this is a hunt. You need to be prepared to hate it. You will have way too much clothing to carry, and your arms are going to hurt. They have very few dressing rooms, there is almost always a line, and everyone else has 50 things so it's a long wait while holding a heavy armful. Then once you're in the dressing room, you realize just how warm they keep the store. Prepare to sweat. Prepare to be hot and tired and not even want to try on your last few things. You might not have enough energy for another run-through and try-on session. And then after all that, prepare to wait at the registers forever--the employees are all nice and most are retirement-age so they know what's up with customer service. But by design they have to manually type out a long line of numbers for each item, so checking out takes for-ev-er. It's not exactly a *pleasant* shopping experience, but the mind-blowing prices are worth every second. read more

M first time in this Dillard's, but I will visit more often!! What a huge store filled with racks of beautiful clothes that are affordable. The store is quiet with no sales clerk bothering you, but when you need them they are no where to be found! The store is clean for the most part, but the bathrooms aren't. read more

Patience is a virtue!!..if you have that this Dillards is for you. They have some awesome finds in there you just need to know how to search thru all the not so hot stuff. Each time I go which is twice month i found shoes,handbags,and home decor. They have amazing maxi dress as well. ALWAYS call before you go to see what the current sale of the week is. Purchased several pairs of slacks and shorts. A few weeks later, i put on a pair of the shorts, and they split in numerous places; as if they were dry riot. Now have to file at small claims court as they do not take merchandise back. Do not shop at the outlet stores; the items have probably been in there for decades. read more

I came by to do some holiday shopping on Dec 22 and saw some boots I wanted to try on. I had surgery on my hand 2 days earlier and had a large bandage over my hand and part of my arm - it was obvious that I was one-handed on this particular day. After trying forever to get someone's attention, I asked for the boots to try on in my size. When the salesman came out, he practically threw the box on the chair next to me and promptly disappeared. I opened the box and there was so much stuffing, I was unable to get the boot empty with one hand ( knew I could get the boot on myself if I could get it empty, but I couldn't believe how hard it was to get help just to get the boot out of the box and ready to try on. I carried the box up to the guy who was now standing on the other side of shoe area doing nothing to ask for help and with a big sigh he pulls the paper and junk out for me. I just left the box on the chair at that point and decided I didn't want to buy anything from this store. What a hassle and what a rude salesman. read more

Today was my first time ever visiting this store. 5 stars for merchandise but only 2 stars for service. My cashier was rude - didn't even acknowledge me. Just picked up the merchandise and started scanning. Then at the end of the transaction she just handed me my receipt and still didn't say thank you or have a nice day. I usually enjoy shopping at Dillard's but I probably won't be coming back to this one. read more

Where's the discount? I went in expecting to find $10.00 or less shirts but only found them in the $30+ range. I've had better luck at Nordstrom Rack! The only nice thing about this place is that they have a good amount of clothing for both sexes. Usually female items occupy 99% of a department store while stuff for men is usually crammed in a corner down in the basement. The exception is the shoe department. At Dillard's Irving there are two tables for men's shoes and literally two loooonnnggg walls with about 8 levels of racks of women's shoes. Of course this may be a good thing if you want to take your son there and show him a good reason to never marry unless he does not care about where his money will end up. :-) read more

Oh my goodness . . . huge store but only one dressing room. Yep, store is bigger than a standard Dillards with only one dressing room, a standing fan because dressing room is so warm, and a LONG line (about 14 ppl) of people waiting. NO, the deals are not that great to warrant such an 'abusive' environment . . . Dillard's obviously does not think much of their customers :-( read more

Where do I even begin to start? This place is a hidden treasure! Every time I go, I feel like I've hit the jackpot! Everything in the store is marked down 65% from the original price. They also list additional discounts on top of that - from 30 to 80%. It can be hit-or-miss, but you can check that week's sales in advance online or over the phone. If you don't like to dig through tons of not-the-most-organized merchandise, this might not be the place for you. It can also be a little warm and the dressing room line can be 10 deep. Make sure you try everything on and check for damage, as all sales are final. However, for the deals you get (I usually end up spending about 15% of the retail value), it's well worth it! Where else can you get a cute $6 bikini or name brand $12 dress? The shoe section is also filled with tons of great finds. I'll never shop at a regular Dillard's again because almost everything ends up here eventually. You can't beat this place! read more

Saturday I bought my niece a darling $98 blouse for $14 and I bought myself two sequined Calvin Klein tops for $14 each and a pearl-trimmed top for $5. They were originally $79 each. Yesterday I bought a $218.00 (original retail) Eileen Fisher Sweater for $7.99 and an adorable jacket ($165 marked down to $28). Today I bought several 3/4 sleeve knit tops for $6 - $8. They were originally $29 - $34 each. Unbelievable. At these great prices, who cares if there are no returns (I can always re-sell on eBay) or a line for the dressing room (just allow enough time for a 5-10 minute wait)? read more

This Dillard's is an Outlet Dillard's, but don't let that stop you. You can still get some GREAT deals here! Better than any other Dillard's in the Metroplex. If you never want to pay full price again for in style items, this is your go to place! Sure, you have to take a FEW, and I mean FEW extra minutes to go through the racks to find what you want, but you are sure to walk away with something nice and a great bargain. It is merchandised much better, and I mean much better, than the old outlet near the old Parks Mall in Arlington, where you had to sort through things for hours on end to find anything that matched, at all, and forget about finding separates in those days. With this set up, you are sure to find something that matches. I think they realized it was in their best interest to help us find a bargain in order to help clear it, and they have taken extra steps to do that. The employees are nice and friendly. As with most things, be kind and courteous, and you will get the same in return. We always enjoy a neat find here! Prices are incredibly friendly! read more
