Shopping at Marshall's is like shopping at TJ Maxx-- it is either feast or famine. Many times, I do not find any good bargains. This Marshall's is located next to Big Lots, so if you are in the mood to shop for great prices, this is your area! Recently, I needed to replenish our guest bathroom with new towels. You know, finally throw out the towels you have had since college. Marshall's has a fantastic selection of name-brand towels at awesome prices. Yes, even the same designer names you can find at Macy's. Granted, they did not have as m any sets as I would have wanted, but I can always go a little shabby-chic and have mixed-match sets, right? The negatives about this store is that the aisles are usually messy and the check-out lines are dreadfully painful. LONG wait and only two to three employees at the registers. But hey, take the good with the bad. read more

I enjoy shopping at Marshall's when I want cute sandals, handbags and home decor. Every Marshalls that I have shopped in has been clean and organized. This location is an exception to that. I was so surprised by how messy and disorganized the back of the store was. I wondered if the store manager had just decided they didn't really give a crap about their job or the way to present their store or both. Marshalls is a fun place to shop but this location should do a better job of taking care of how they present the merchandise they want customers to purchase. read more

The last several times I've been to this location, it was so warm inside I was sweating within ten minutes of being there. The employees keep saying the AC is broken. No one should have to work in these conditions! It's abusive to your employees and your customers. I'm sure whoever is in charge isn't suffering. Today was my last visit. Fix the AC! Okay so shoes. That's the first thing you see when you first walk in and I already know I have an addiction so my shopping started in this department. I came here for wedding centerpieces, but...shoes!! So after a few minutes I made my way to the back of the store with the decor and managed to find so many options for decor! I feel in love with these HUGE gold hurricane vases and small gold centerpieces. I ended up getting those and heading towards check out. The store is VERY clean, bright and organized. The aisles were wide enough for a few people to be on each without you bumping into each other, and the staff was pretty nice. I was greeted while v'rooming over to the shoes and upon check out the young man was very polite and was sincere in his conversation. (When you meet a good person, you just know.) This was my first visit to this location but I can say I will be back. I love great customer service, saving money, and shopping with ease! Xo. read more

I had a marvelous shopping experience @ Marshalls recently. I was just killing time when passing by the store and decided to pop in and check it out. My Mom shopped here a LOT and always loved the clothes she found. OMG, the prices for top of the line name brand items (Ellen Tracy, Carole Little, Liz Claiborne, etc) were amazing. We all know what one pays for those at the major department stores; these were 50-60% less, and the quality is just as good. The store is clean, well organized, and displays are outstanding. They sure practice good marketing by placing all the new arrivals & popular items along the front to catch your eye. And, unfortunately they did. Everything I found was just calling my name and I simply put my resistance and self discipline in the off position and decided to treat myself, rationalizing that I was not only saving $ but racking up some AAdvantage miles. A very wise decision ole girl ! Now, as a reminder, I was just killing time with no intent to make any purchases, just browsing ya know! 45 minutes later I am walking out with 2 pair of cool sandals, 3 Capri pants with coordinating tops, some adorable note cards with matching envelopes and a pajama set. What a happy day this was. Nothing brightens a female's day more than additions to the wardrobe. To further damage the pocket book, decided the next day to go back and get more of those cute note cards for Christmas gifts. Yep, Christmas shopping in July is soooo much fun. You can find some great deals on your favorite brands here! I love their home section because I find unique plates and cups and amazing knick knacks. I love going to Marshalls, however since they're going under renovation, things are a little messy right now. read more

I can always find great deals on so many things I often have to do a double take and take a deep breath and say OK what is it that you really need to but today. I think they have a pretty awesome shoe collection and great deals are there for the taking. I found a great pair of football cleats that I can use to practice with my boys during the upcoming football season for under $10. I have found so many useful items for my Iphone and for my ipod that save you so much compared to buying at the mall or apple store. They always have a great selection of clothing but I will warn you that it does require a little persistent shopping. I always try to chat with the people that work in the areas of the store I enjoy the most and maybe they can call me when all the new deals arrive so I can be the first on the scene. The store can be at times cramped and crazy but hey what did you think you were the only that was looking for a great deal? read more

I love a good bargain (some may call me a bargain hunter, even), so you know I'm all about Marshall's. This location is super close to my house plus they have tons of great house stuff. Clothes selection is so-so and I've stopped even trying to bother with the shoes, but again, the home section is off the chain. Fingers crossed they open a HomeGoods nearby soon, because they totally could. As another Yelp-er mentioned, it's kind of a hot mess in here, always super disorganized and stuff in the aisles and such, but that's kind of the Marshall's vibe. The shopping center itself is a little dicey (there have been plenty of robberies in the parking lot recently) so I try to only go when it's light out. read more

I love Marshall's, TJMAXX and Homegoods! They always have great items at reasonable prices, but my low rating for the Marshall's on Forest has to do with the customer service I received when checking out. First of all, I noticed a stain on one of the shirts I was purchasing so I told her I would go and g r another one. I left some items on the counter ( the ones she began to scan) and I left my cart there with more items on the side. When I go back after waiting in line my cart isn't there anymore. I asked the cashier where was the cart and she smurked and said "oh I don't know people always leave carts and we put them away...:" it made me soooo mad! I spent 1 hour of my life picking out things ! I will also leave a comment on their website. This was ridiculous!!!! Hire quality people, good people are waiting to get hired. read more

On July the second I went in trying to purchase a two piece bikini. As I was walking through the iles I noticed most of the bikinis sizes weren't matching. I was fortunate enough to find a two piece bikini that was perfect for me. The top was size medium and the bottoms was size large. I decided to buy the bikini, and other items that I liked, as I'm getting ready to pay; the cashier told me that she was not able to sell me the bikini due to the fact that sizes didn't match (even though the bottom and top had different tags and were marked with different prices. Basically the store selling them as separate items) I tried explaining to the cashier that the rest of the bikinis didn't have matching Sizes, but she just kept interrupting me telling me that it was a store policy and that she couldn't sell it to me. Then I said "well if that's so true that means that other cashiers have been selling them incorrectly, because this policy didn't apply to other costumers, since you have so many mix match sizes" she charged me for everything else and didn't let me buy my bikini which was so disappointing. I didn't want to make a big deal at the moment and left without asking to speak to a store manager. A couple days ago my sister and I decided to go buy a pair of shoes, and out of curiosity I asked a different cashier (because luckily the one that refused to sell me the bikini wasn't there) if this policy was true, she said "no it's not" she even asked the cashier next to her if this statement was true, and she agreed and said "you can buy the bikini, top and bottom in separate sizes because they're sold separate" I was so shocked to find out that I could of gotten that item if a different employee would have taken cared of me that day. Specially because I spent hours at this marshals trying to find the perfect bathing bikini suit . Now my point is, if this indeed is a "policy" marshalls should make it fair to all costumers, and train their employees properly and teach them how to do business. At the end of the day I was paying out of my pocket, and their employees obviously have a job thanks to us! Way to go marshalls!! This is one place that I shop on a regular places. I love shoes and this is a "Mega" Shoe Store. They have a good selection but like all of the discount stores, good things here go very fast. Prices are cheap or cheaper than the regular store. You can find designer purses too. Occasionally, I see a Coach or Dooney & Burke bags but I don't buy them here. I hit the Coach Outlet when I need a purse. Here you can find great shoes and clothes. Although, it is a hit or miss depending on what you're looking for. The store is small so they are packed and there isn't a lot of room in between isle. The dressing rooms were showing a lot of wear & tear and the last time I was in there, they were in the processing of renovating. Love this place and I go here often, say Hi to Ester for me if you have to try some clothes on. Ester is the dressing room attendant and is a very friendly, sweet lady. Give it a try, you'll never know what bargain you will find. read more
