I got it back after a day or so, but immediately when I got home to plug in, I noticed the ethernet port was now completely unusable and it's pushed into the body of the PlayStation more now than it was before they had it. When I plug it in now, it doesn't recognize that the port is plugged in. Took it back and showed the dude who "fixed" it my issues, and I was told "We cannot verify the condition of the item because we can't verify the condition it was in prior to entering the store". What kind of scam company is this? I pay you $200 just for you to not even bother to perform before/after QA checks to make sure the device functions as it was received? After having it for about a week, I also noticed the power supply they used must have been from a poor 3rd party company, because now whenever I play PS5 games for about an hour that require the full resources of the machine, my power supply will just overheat and the entire system shuts down with no warning. It was a very cheap unit, probably $59 at a box store. It came used and without ink, so we had to buy the cartridges. The printer didn't work they directed us to other cartridges, we bought those the printer still did not work. Now we are in $79 for an initial fee and over $100 in ink cartridges. They said they would come to our house, no more than two blocks from their office. They cancelled at the last minute due to a forecast of rain??? They rescheduled, didn't show. They rescheduled again and didn't show. Now they no longer respond to email inquiries. I am planning, if no response to this complaint, to file one with the Better Business Bureau.

When we brought my wife's phone into the store for a repair, we were quoted a price $360 with 1/2 paid upfront and 1/2 when complete. We paid and came back the next day. The repair seemed to be decent (good enough to trade the phone and receive credit). But, when we checked out, the owner charged the card twice. When it happened, he played it off as "it didn't go through and I need to run it another time." When we said something, he said that he would take it off if both transactions somehow went through. I went home and didn't worry about it. But, when I checked my card, he had charged the card a total of THREE times (when only 2 were authorized). I emailed iDropped and asked him to remove the charge. Although he emailed and said he would do it, over a week passed with nothing. So, I was forced to put in a card dispute. One would think that he would apologize when that card dispute came in. But, I saw that he actually tried to fight the dispute! Thankfully, my card issuer ruled in my favor and reversed his fraudulent charge. It took over 2 months though. So, long story. But, let this review save you some headaches and go elsewhere. The owner is a smooth talker and will act like the nicest guy you've ever met. But, trust me, it's all show.

I have worked with computers and worked on repairing computers since personal computers were first introduced. My problem was I was from out of town and I accidentally dropped my work laptop causing it to malfunction. I needed someone locally who could provide the knowledge and expertise to help me get back up and running or transfer the data from my hard drive to a new laptop. I sent an email to Dan late in the evening explaining my emergency and requesting he call me to see what he could do. He did call me back and offered for me to bring the laptop to his shop in the morning. I did. Dan diagnosed the problem and determined the laptop was unrepairable. He then retrieved the hard drive and together we troubleshot the hard drive until we were able to get access to the data and start the transfer of data to a new laptop I purchased directly from Dan. This process took several hours during which we talked and got to know one another. I was impressed by his knowledge and experience repairing computers and his willingness to sit and work with me through this laptop disaster. I could not have found a better person to help me out. I believe he was likely the only place and person in the area that could have helped me out. I am so glad I found Dan and consider him not just a computer repairman, but a new found friend.
