Awful. Should be named iStole. In my opinion, the owner of this place is a con-artist in every respect. When we brought my wife's phone into the store for a repair, we were quoted a price $360 with 1/2 paid upfront and 1/2 when complete. We paid and came back the next day. The repair seemed to be decent (good enough to trade the phone and receive credit). But, when we checked out, the owner charged the card twice. When it happened, he played it off as "it didn't go through and I need to run it another time." When we said something, he said that he would take it off if both transactions somehow went through. I went home and didn't worry about it. But, when I checked my card, he had charged the card a total of THREE times (when only 2 were authorized). I emailed iDropped and asked him to remove the charge. Although he emailed and said he would do it, over a week passed with nothing. So, I was forced to put in a card dispute. One would think that he would apologize when that card dispute came in. But, I saw that he actually tried to fight the dispute! Thankfully, my card issuer ruled in my favor and reversed his fraudulent charge. It took over 2 months though. So, long story. But, let this review save you some headaches and go elsewhere. His was the only local shop willing to give me a price over the phone for a Surface Pro screen replacement. His team had the screen shipped overnight, and performed the work super-fast that next day! I wish I didn't have to write this review, but I can't in good conscience let anyone else use this store without knowing. My daughter and I were in Knoxville for just the weekend. Her iphone had a cracked screen, and the owner agreed to repair it on Saturday knowing we were leaving early Sunday morning to go back home out of state. I brought in a fully working phone with a cracked screen, and left with a new screen, but a phone that no longer worked and missing two of the screws that hold the internal components in place. The owner assured me his work came with a 1 year warranty. When I got the phone home, the side button was not responsive at all. I called and left a voice mail, but never got a reply. I texted three times to the number which I received texts from (the store) but got no reply. 5 days later my daughter had to have her phone repaired at another place near her home. When I eventually reached the owner of IDropped, he said he never got the voicemail and that the line the store texted me from was a landline that could not receive replies. Huh??? He would not stand behind his work without photos of the phone (taken by the other store!), proof from the other store of what they worked on, photos of the parts, their invoice, etc. all of which was supplied. I paid the owner of IDropped in full without question. Then I paid a different store to repair what IDropped broke. Please, friend, be very careful of this store...you may not get what you pay for. read more

I live in Nashville. I came to Knoxville for business for the day and my charging cable broke off in my phone. I was down to 7% battery and headed back to Nashville panicked that I'd be without my phone for a 3+ hour drive. Half of what I found online and the personal service was even better! I worked with Tiekel, the owner, and he was quite empathetic to my situation. He was personable and kind. Asking me about my day, we made small talk while he repaired the phone. Within 20 minutes I was in and out and with a working phone! This place is Awesome. Dean handled my iPad Pro with expert care. They had to order a screen and it arrived the next day after I dropped off. This iPad was bent and screen broken. Got it back and it works and looks like new. Highly recommend. Little pricey, but my iPad was 5th gen 12.9 screen which is an expensive screen. So there's that. I got my screen fixed for around $250. Not a terrible deal, also fixed in a decent amount of time. I did not receive an OEM part to repair my phone. The repair was incomplete. I was told to reset my phone, but the top left of my screen was not all the way secure. Which resulted in another damaged screen. It was temporarily fixed, also wouldn't ever recommend to anyone. read more

I took my daughter there and we paid the $50 diagnostic fee. Her phone would turn on and off continually, but it would always turn on. They kept her phone for a couple of weeks and then called us and told us that there was nothing that they could do about it they couldn't figure out if it had moisture damage or anything like that so we went and picked her phone up, thinking that it was going to be in the same condition as when we brought it in, unfortunately it wasn't they gave us back a complete brick when I contacted them to ask why it wouldn't turn on. They said that it probably had something to do with the hardware, but we've never had an issue with her phone. Turning on at all. It wouldn't charge so he said that they would keep it and continue to try to figure out what was wrong with it. That was a month ago we haven't heard anything and they still have her phone whenever I go by there they tell me that they are going to call me and never do. I'm just going to pick it up.
