I felt like the piercer was very intentional and clear in explaining when, where, and why he would be touching my face for the piercing and I really appreciated how trauma-informed he was. It made the experience so comfortable. I revisited a month ago to have a shorter post swapped in and it was a similarly positive experience. Also- they have a piercing punch card which is badass (6th one is free!). I also got a tattoo here a few weeks ago and Will was great too. He was also very intentional and did such a good job on the fine lines of my tattoo. I will definitely revisit for tattoos and piercings in the future!

I'll go back, no questions. Sometimes it's worth it to pay extra. Preciate your customer service. Pain level- 4/5-10. And it was only for a second so good deal. I love this, it's probably my favorite piercing. The guy at the desk answering all my questions I didn't get your name, but thank you very much as well ! 4 stars only because of pricing.

I had a great first tattoo experience that was fast, fun, and painless. My wife (who has a lot of tats) and I (no tats) wanted to get a small matching text piece for a long time, and I finally worked up the courage. We brought in the book the quote we wanted tattooed was from, and the person at the front desk helped us by photocopying the passage and making copies of different sizes so we could compare. This was really helpful as it gave me a way to see how big or small the piece could be. After choosing, we were assigned two separate artists (I think to be fair to the artists by distributing walk-ins) but they were very understanding and my wife was allowed to wait for her appointment so she could sit with me while I got mine. Kayla was my artist (can't remember the name of my wife's artist, unfortunately) and she helped walk me through the process. I actually didn't think getting tatted was anywhere near as painful as I thought, so everything went quickly with quality work. After my wife got hers done, we checked out, and I even got a sticker for my first tattoo, which I thought was super cute. Overall, I would definitely come back here for more small walk-in pieces. While most of the artists have a more anime-inspired style for their main work which is beautiful but not really my aesthetic, I know I can deff trust their artists and will be back in the future.

My artist was Papi who was not only open and friendly, but VERY professional instilling confidence I was in the right place. Located on Belmont near Carytown, this is a woman owned local business with true artists working there. Pricing is comparable. Highly recommend for your next inking.

We went to Lucky 13 a couple years ago and really enjoyed the experience so we knew this was the perfect place to go. As soon as we walked in, it was pretty packed. I planned on getting a piercing but when my daughter and sister consulted about a tattoo, they were about 5-6 people ahead of them but they put their name on the list in hopes it wouldn't be too long of a wait. The piercing area was a little busy but the wait wasn't long at all. The majority of their piercings are $20 so I decided on the Forward Helix and my Third Ear Lobe piercing. My piercer was great and made sure I liked the placement before piercing my ears. While we waited, I also bought new jewelry for my Naval, Tragus and Rook piercings, which they changed out for me. With jewelry being only $10, I felt like a kid in a candy store lol. Unfortunately after about an hour, my daughter and sister didn't move up in the wait list so my sister decided to get a Tragus and Second Ear Lobe piercing and we decided to leave. The service at Lucky 13 is great and with it being a pretty popular spot, expect long waits for tattoos! They open at Noon on Saturdays so definitely be there as soon as they open to avoid long waits. I absolutely love the pricing of the piercing. For $90, I got 3 piercings and 3 pieces of jewelry. Definitely check them out! Update: My Forward Helix jewelry did fall out after about a week so make sure the jewelry is very secure before leaving.
