The owner of this company blew through an intersection with a yield sign today in a red truck with a trailer/digger attached and almost hit me. I noticed there were still people on site from where he was driving from. I spoke with the other person working to get the name of the Company, so I could call and inform them of this situation. When you see that there is water coming through your basement wall and it hasn't rained in days you know there must be a break in your water line. The city told me it is up to the homeowner to make any repairs if it is not a water mail. I knew I needed something more than a guy who comes out and cleans your drains. After an internet search I landed on Diggit. I could not have been more pleased. He said it might be a week to pull permits and make room in his schedule but 2 days later he was there digging up my yard. The crew of 3 was respectful and efficient. They put in a new line and put everything back the way it was when they finished. And for all the work they did I found the price very reasonable. Days before my tenant was scheduled to move in, I discovered that during the remodel the plumber hooked up the water meter to an old gas line and I had no water to the property! I found Diggit through Yelp, and called Jeff in desperation. He went out to the property that afternoon to survey the situation and had an entire crew on the job the next day! They had to locate the actual water line (which was under a newly poured driveway) and then bring it up through my (newly poured) slab and connect it. Diggit is a licensed plumber and excavator so they were able to do the excavating, plumbing and then re-pour the concrete all within a couple of days. Diggit was incredibly professional, efficient, and competent -- oh, and about $2k less than their competitors. This is why you go with a company that specializes! I had a water line replaced and other contractors told me it would take 2 days and require trenching my whole front yard. Diggit was done in one day (by 3pm) and didn't even need to trench the whole way because they had the machine that let them go in from the side. Totally recommend. read more

The Diggit company replaced the ORIGINAL cast iron storm sewer pipe drainage line that ran from our Ann Arbor house (built in 1921) to the city sewer link in the street. They were knowledgeable, amazingly efficient and, when the job proved to be more complicated and more work than they had originally estimated, they split the difference in price with us. Their ability to plan and execute the project and their amazing teamwork and coordination get the job done in a remarkably short time. They also replaced the laundry sink faucet (also original 1921 vintage) and installed the hookups for the washer. Highly recommended! read more
