I used the project quote function on Yelp to snag some pricing and info from local plumbers. In chatting with Al over yelp, he had me send some pictures and gave me a general idea of pricing. Unfortunately for me, my setup is non-compliant with current code specs. Fortunately for me, Al was able to come check it out in person the next day. He was then able to get back to me and upgrade my system, install a new water heater, and take the old one out... all within 72 hours of my original request. Some of the larger companies in the area were a week or more out before even willing to come give me an estimate. Can't say enough positive things about Breyer's. From start to finish it was a friendly, professional, and well done project. If i need a plumber in the future, they'll be my first call.

They replied to my request for the price for a visit within a few hours of initial communication, and Al came the next day . He explained everything as he examined the A/C, fan and motor. It was a motor/fan problem for AC and furnace. Since my furnace was 13 years old and had a few hiccups last winter already, i asked them to replace with brand new one. Today (next day) D'Artagnon and his colleague came @8 am to replace my old furnace. They even made a few updates on pipes for drainage (so that water goes into the drain directly without spilling). Now my AC is blowing nice cold air and I don't have to worry about the furnace for at least another 10 years (that comes with 10 year warranty). The price for this installation was reasonable, as it was a bit lower than my old furnace. They did all within 3.5 hours. Al followed up with a call to make sure I was satisfied with their work within 30 min. I felt they were thorough and very professional, and honest and do care about their customers.

I wasn't sure about my home warranty company sending this company as I had never heard of them…read morebefore. But, they were the only option provided, so I agreed. I had thought my issue was my capacitor but after replacing it myself, that didn't resolve the issue so I needed to bring someone else in to look.They arrived so quickly, within just a couple of hours and on the early end of the window provided. They sent a text with tracking information so I could see how far away they would be also. Immediately, the technician asked a couple of questions to determine the issue. He explained the different symptoms and why he would check where he did first. It turned out to be a switch that was accidentally turned off on my furnace, super simple fix. I felt so dumb! He encouraged me and helped me to not feel so bad about not checking there first. He even went to check the repair that I had done myself to assure it was done correctly while he was here and verified all was well, even giving me little tips to make sure I didn't get a shock from the removed capacitor. I would absolutely recommend them and will contact them for any future (legitimate) issues I may have. one star because zero isn't an option…read more Excuses and delays are all this company offers. Slow to respond, two visits over three weeks and still no repairs or plans. If you have a home warranty these guys do NOT have any sense of urgency to help. In the mean time the house is over eighty degrees inside with fans going everywhere. They won't be out again until the four week marker and that won't even be to make a repair. They will supposedly decide then and kick the can down the road again for repairs. Summer will possibly be over before they make good. I SUGGEST CHOOSING ANOTHER CONTRACTOR.

I don't understand these positive reviews. I paid this company $100 to do an inspection. The kid…read more(and I do mean kid) that came out was able to show me on his tablet that the refrigerant in my central A/C unit is slightly below what would be considered a "good" level. I explained to him that my unit occasionally turns off and then back on in very short intervals. He wasn't able to offer any thoughts as to why that might be happening other than my unit is old. Fast forward 2 weeks. Today, I had a different company come out. Within 30 seconds of him taking off the same exact shield on the back of my A/C unit, he saw a frayed wire. Within 5 minutes he had replaced the wire and the problem was solved. One would think that the kid from Comfort Zone would have noticed it. The guy who was here today showed me the wire, it was RIGHT in front of exactly where the Comfort Zone kid hooked up the same diagnostic tools. If I'm paying to have my unit inspected, I'd think a company is actually INSPECTING the unit. I'm tempted to report this to the BBB. What a complete and utter rip off!!!

Pete's Heating & Cooling did a great job on fixing my 3 year old A/C. I had issues with it last…read moreyear and this year. The original installer did not do it right and did not register it properly. When I had 3 local companies come look and give an estimate for it he was the only one that took the time to verify I did still have warranty on it as well as price for new A/C. He took the time to answer all questions. After getting a detailed estimate for the fix and having them do the work they found leak and fixed it. They also fixed the other issue with it. The technicians Jeff and Jack were very professional and polite and worked on it day 1 and second day there were 3 technicians I do not know the third persons name but he was also professional. I want to tell you that every time I have needed them, they have responded. They "move with purpose". I never forgot that about them because heating and cooling is an essential amenity. The first time we called Pete's we had bought a house that had no furnace, central air or duct work. A huge project, expensive all by itself. We had a new baby and had to be ready to move from our apartment into the house within weeks. The level of coordination and care that Pete's has is unheard of! Even when there are other contractors involved such as electricians, they all work together with such professionalism, respect and synchronization that you literally cannot tell that they all do not work for the same company.
