The reason for the 3 star review is because they quoted me 160 dollars for the root clean out on the phone however when the tech arrived he cleaned the roots out and then tried to charge me 385 dollars for the work. He said it was because he had to clean out the storm drain too. I would have been happy to pay for extra service if we had discussed it before hand. I was in the house so we could have discussed. In the end the tech did give me 100 dollars off, but I would be carful if I used them again.

Hell you can buy your own electric crimper for $600 and do this and every other valve replacement forever. Will never use Horton again and I tell everybody in my condo complex of 25 units the same I know plumbers are not cheap but I thought this was ridiculous. Worth doing research and find your own local pro then this fleece job.

I just had such a terrible experience with Cummings Plumbing that I will not be using them again. Nick, the plumber who came to my home, was unprofessional and made the whole situation uncomfortable. First, he was cursing constantly while working, very inappropriate, especially with my kids in the house. It was really unsettling to have that kind of language in my house and it left me feeling uneasy as my husband wasn't home. To make matters worse, he didn't even tell me he broke the panel he needed to remove to access the plumbing behind the shower. I only found out after the fact when I saw the damage. On top of that, he removed shelving and clothing rods to get to the panel, but didn't bother to put anything back in place. He just left everything scattered on the floor, including my clothes! It was disrespectful and left me with a mess to clean up on top of everything else. I expected a lot more professionalism, especially for the price I paid. I will not be using Cummings Plumbing again and definitely would not recommend them to others.

The reset did not fix the problem, and I never received any follow-up calls or service afterward. As a result, I had to hire a separate company to resolve the issue. I later requested a refund but was only issued a partial credit for a humidifier pad. My furnace was never properly repaired, and the lack of follow-up or accountability after I had already reached out multiple times is completely unacceptable.
