I so wanted this to…read morework but I found out my warranty was voided because they installed this unit in my 15" pit which after installed realized it has to be 22". I kept getting alerts my water level was high then it would kick in and drain. Then I got high voltage alerts, then another that said undefined. Douglas was willing to honor my warranty but then in reading the paperwork I discovered it was not recommended using a generator with it. Another thing not disclosed to me. They didn't even realize it. Which why would they not know these things?? It is overly sensitive sending alerts over every thing. They did agree to remove it so I could get something else and return my money .... However when they came to pick up their sump pump they had no money to give me. After feeling lied to I did not give them their pump. I now have to return the pump to the office and then I get a check. I would have recommended their water conditioning but at this point I definitely don't trust them. This sump pump is apparently new to them and they have no knowledge of restrictions it has. I'm deeply disappointed this happened as the installers Connor and Wes were great and did their best to help. I definitely do NOT recommend this company at all especially their sump pump that they know nothing about. Call the manufacturer like I did. Every little thing voids the warranty.

My problem came after installation. The technician left my old water softener in my basement saying he would come back to get it. He did not. About 2-3 weeks After noticing many water leaks in my plumbing after the installation I called the company to have them remove the old softener while I was cleaning my wet basement. The same technician came back with another technician. They did take out the tank. Removing the salt from it. Left all the metal parts in my basement and to top it off left the top of the old water softener that said Country Water behind my tire where had I not seen could have popped my tire with metal screws pointing up towards my tire. They did not fill my water softener with the salt that was sitting next to it. And I don't know what they did with the salt they took out of the old one. They did not say goodbye are you satisfied? Just left. I then had the original rep come out and compensate me with a 5 gallon water jug. Whole experience made me feel like they don't value long time customers or New customers. Sorry. A 5 gallon water jug doesn't compensate for that treatment after charging a 480 dollar installation fee. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

We had to have our entire home gutted and re plumbed. Costing over $8500. Moral of the story Trent was called back to make a repair. He scheduled me Monday with a time from of 3-6pm. No call no show. I reached out, I get a reply around 7:30. Health issues okay, completely understand no big deal take care of yourself call me the next day (as he said he would that night) (to me it was not that big of a rush) okay.. never called me! So I sent a text. Scheduled me again. Again NO call NO show. This time hours go by before I hear anything, so at this point I'm a little skeptical as anyone would be? So I send a text asking should I hire someone else? Because if he is having health issues. I simple communicate or update text would have been awesome! I'd have totally understood. Well I get a reply. So I sent text out to one of the other workers that works for him Paul asking if he an update for me, just because I'd like to know what the plan is, 2 no shows, at this point what's going on? Is someone coming, is something wrong? Are you busy? Just speak up. We're all human. Anyways Paul shows up. Fixes the next day. After Trent continues to ignore me after my last message to him. After Paul leaves Trent calls me from a random number and is now unprofessionally blowing up my phone. He sure has alot of communication now but he didn't have any when it was time to come back. I feel as if I'm dealing with a teenager and not an adult. This owner is very immature if I can save anyone the headache go elsewhere. Super unprofessional. I had 2 faucet leaks: kitchen sink & bathroom sink. 2 plumbers showed up empty handed. Came in…read morenice service truck. -0- tools - I asked "Where's your tools"? ... thus I believe they knew they were NOT going to 'replace' my washers as I thought; NO I was told I needed to replace both my whole faucets... $400 each for the replacements + installation .. I said replace the washers (which is probably ALL they needed)...they told me because of "ceramic discs" inside faucet ???? they couldn't guarantee washer replacements and would probably fail anyway thus 'replacements'. **So I went & bought my own faucets x2 from Home Depot. Both my faucets + toilet seat = $172.00 total vs $800 + + installation for theirs. * When I called office BEFORE they arrived, to ask Brittany IF they gave Senior Discount - she said "YES, either 5% or 10% - the guys will know." Ironic she didn't even know WHAT the Sr discount was?? After giving her my address; she identified me as "You're the lady having both your bathroom and kitchen faucets replaced". I said no, I'm just having them fixed/repaired." - - - So, these guys knew before they got here that they were not repairing anything.... no option other than to replace!! Faucets alone would be $800 + installation! I agreed to have the work done...but I would get my own faucets. They returned a week later. 2 plumbers done in 1hr. ** I NEVER rec'd any paperwork, nor a receipt ... I made him write receipt in long hand on sheet of legal pad paper; so I was signing my name ON his phone - without even seeing anything... That was very dumb on my part too... I will never do it again. Even the written paperwork that came in mail a wk. later showed me nothing ... it did show my signature however! Payment time... he told me $750.... I had to remind him to rebate my Trip fee of $75.00. I wrote ck. for $675. Only to realize afterwards that he did not give me my SR discount. which turned out to be 5%, so I was overcharged $37.00 which I did eventually get back few days later after I went there to inform them of their error. I will never call them again. Rip-off artists. My work is still NOT guaranteed since I went & bought my own faucets and didn't use theirs! a Dis-satisfied customer. I wish I had done a Yelp review check BEFORE I hired them.

ORIGINAL REVIEW WAS "Dominic and Chad did a wonderful job replacing my under basement floor drainage from kitchen drain to main sewer here in Lincoln Park. Professional, clean, and friendly. Dominic discussed each step of work thoroughly. Gave me a fair price. I highly recommend this company. Excellent." I now totally rescind the above review. I was lied to by Dominic and received shoddy work and uncomplete fulfillment of agreed oral contract when work was started. I was told my existing basement bathroom would have to be torn out and start from scratch to get correct slope, of course another $7000 to do this. Untrue; another plumber did it (at less than half Best Plumbing's quote with slab already torn up) without even having to reset pipes. Ground had natural slope and plumber had slope to spare. Also, while piping noticed Best Plumbing's install of my storm floor drain was wobbling every which way. Pulled and it slipped right out; reached his hand back under slab and pulled out a stuffed garbage bag which was used to attach my floor drain to storm drain. So, plumber had to cut slab above drain too and go get supplies to attach it properly. Also was supposed to get main sewer snake out when all work was finished; never received that either. Therefore, buyer beware. read more

I never know who to trust when it comes to plumbing services. Best Plumbing Co. was recommended when we put out a request through "All things Livonia". I am so glad we did! We have had trouble with having to snake our sewage, and storm line on a regular basis (root growth etc...) Julian, Chad and their team showed up on time, explained the situation in laymans terms, ran a camera through the line, used the proper cutter to clean out the line, and identfied a collapsed storm trap that needed to be repaired. Since the trap was below the house, we were able to claim the majority of the work through are homeowners insurance. Julian took pictures throughout the process while explaining each step. He had the city inspector out the day after digging and repair to check the work. Everything passed, Julian and team returned that same day to fill in the hole and cement. They cleaned up there work area, and even took the time to replace a broken spicket handle on the outside of the house. Plumbing needs? I'll look to Best Plumbing Co. as my first call in the future. We called Best plumbing to cap off the water to our laundry tub and put a couple shut off valves in our bathroom. All went good and price was reasonable. Dominic was scheduled to come back out the following Monday to replace the shut off valves at our water meter. The day he left we were removing drywall in our bathroom and noticed a major leak in a copper pipe in the wall. He came out next day and qouted us $800. Almost 4X more then the work he did the day before. Finally got the price down to $500. Told him he was trying to rip us off butt go ahead and do it and we would call another company to finish the work even if we had to pay more. When he got ready to leave he said " if I give you back $100 and we can beat their price will you call us?" My husband took the $100 and said sure, but it will be to tell your boss we would never use their company again. Called Cumming plumbing to finish the valve job at half the price and we quick and courtesy. No hagling price. Best lost any future work with us. Would never refer them to anyone. read more

Best plumbing did something most businesses don't do these days, they kept me alerted as to when they would be to my home. There was a delay to the initial schedule but I was contacted before the agreed to time and notified they would be late then they kept me inform till they got here. Also, I was on the phone in another room and they realized they would be making a lot of noise and they let me know they would close my door so as not to disturb my phone conversation. They cleaned up everything and took away they items they removed as well as my old sink sitting on my drive way and the boxes my toilet, sink and faucet were packed in. The price they stated was the price I paid (no surprises). They were very polite and the experience and capability were evident throughout the work. I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will be calling on them for any future plumbing work I need done. This was the best experience I've had in years. So glad we connected. This is the second time that we have used Best1 Rooter, LLC's services and once again, we are VERY satisfied with their services. We had a water heater that rusted out. Mike and Joel removed the old water heater, and made modifications so that the new water heater would fit. Mike was professional and friendly as before but Joel was new and we GREATLY appreciate his knowledge in plumbing for someone so young. Joel was also very professional and friendly and able to answer all of our questions about future work we need done (he's a keeper Best1 Rooter). My wife and I just moved into a new house, and we found out the hard way that grease can congeal in the pipes and totally cut off the sink from the sewer. After calling a few places trying to find someone who would come out to our area, we came across Best Plumbing, who came out right away. Charles and Erion were absolute professionals, they identified the problem immediately just by scent and confirmed it within a minute. They came today this morning, and over the course of just 6 hours, they totally dug out the offending pipes, removed additional liquid grease, replaced the old, broken pipes, gave the remaining pipes a wash, put a pressure bag around them, refilled the hole, and concreted back over it, all for a pretty reasonable price for the amount of work! This company is the best; hands down. Originally, we were told by another company that we had a collapsed drain. Best Plumbing came out right away, and when they snaked the drain, and then put a camera down the pipe, they discovered that it was just clogged with debris and clay. They worked for 1-1/2 hours, unclogging the drain, snaking all the drains along with doing a visual with a camera, fixing and/or replacing any pipes that were compromised. The job was done today in a timely, professional way and cleaned up after job was done. Price was reasonable and the service was excellent!!! I highly recommend this company. After a week long freeze of below zero temperatures, broken water pipes caused flooding to the first floor and basement. Plumber calls for assistance were seeing a 2-3 day wait. "Best Plumbing" was the only service that promised to come out and evaluate the damage on the day I made the call. Joel and Jim, were able to replace the pipes in 2.5 hours. They were courteous and professional. Service fee was a reasonable price for the amount of water destruction and what had to be replaced. Thank you Julian and Tony for doing such an excellent job today replacing the pipe and replacing the sprocket so I can water my grass again. Not only did they replace the pipe and sprocket but explained to me what they were doing and what to do before winter so I can turn off the water valve to avoid the pipe from freezing. They also unplugged one of my toilets and the cost for everything was the best price I had quoted from other plumbers. I was referred to Best1 Rooter/Best Plumbing by a Friend. During a shower I find that my main line is plugged. I call the number and was answered by a polite Gentleman wo said only" that he would do what he could. Can I give him an hour or so". Best Plumbing had to come out because of what we thought was a clogged drain. Come to find out it was more than that and they came back out and replaced several feet of pipe in the ground leading to the main sewer line. They were extremely friendly and kept us up to speed on the project and walked us through each and every step of what they were doing, even allowing us to take pictures as the work required a backhoe to tear up the yard. My sewer backed up in my basement. With water puddles on the floor. Dominic and his crew came out and snaked the drain line going out to the main sewer. They used a camera and found where the problem was. My sewer was plugged 45 feet out to the back yard. Dominic and his crew dug down to make the repair to the pipe. Shower faucet was leaking behind the tub, and the seals on pipes had sprung leaks. Of course, no shut off valves for the shower, so I had to shut whole house down. With kids in house need water. I called best plumbing and they had someone out in few hours. The two plumbers they sent were great, they explained everything they were going to do. Water was backing up from my basement drain and Brian assured me that he would have someone out as soon as possible. He gave me a time frame and Dominic called a 1/2hr before showing up with Trenton. They looked young and I held my breath expecting a more experienced looking person but they were knowledgeable, confident and had my drain snaked within 20min. I had an unusual circumstance involving a rental property. During this time of Covid, plumbers are in high demand. If you can find someone to work, many will come hours behind their appointment time, if at all. Not Best Plumbing Company. Excellent customer service, reasonable pricing and timely. Really great service. We had a pipe burst in our kitchen and Julian and Jordan were called on Friday and were out here on Monday! They were even nice to the dog! (A barking dog is annoying- even if it is your own, lol.) They were open and honest about best/worst case scenario on pricing and it was within the same range as other places we contacted.
