This is Dierks Bentley's down in downtown Gilbert. Nice place the food from what I hear is delicious. I haven't tried it yet. The service isn't too bad. I was there on a Sunday midday so they might've been late staffed while sitting at the bar. But the ambience was good. The light band was good.

Came here on a Monday mostly because friends were leaving that day and wanted to hit a restaurant before getting on a plane. Gotta say, I wasn't disappointed. I got the whiskey burger and it's pretty substantial. You get a decent amount of fries and they are nice & crispy. Our server was attentive but again there's not a lot of people there on a Monday afternoon. There's country music playing (mostly Dierks Bentley) and there's a Harley on display in the restaurant. The food was good as well as the atmosphere. Just go, you'll enjoy it.

We found this joint while the orher restaurants nearby had rather long queues. As we were party of 11, we rather wanted to dine faster, so it was a surprise to find this place empty regardless such a spacey dining room. We ordered burgers an sandwiches, and all of us agreed this was a great sportsbar with quality food.

Stopped by here after brunch with the girls and had a good time. It was fourth of July weekend so we were surprised at how dead all of downtown gilbert was but our experience was still pretty nice. We all got one drink and had no complaints about it. We sat at their bar for a bit then went down to their lounge area where they had mists and fans... Thank goodness! It was nice getting to sit and listen to to a live country artist with an amazing voice! Whiskey Row was definitely a good vibe while we were there during the day, I'll have to try it out in the evening next time.

The pretzels and the cocktails were so good here. I love the open concept and the entertainment! The service was pretty good. I did feel like because my husband and I were there together they rarely checked up on us so we had to flag someone down (we were sitting at the bar) but it seemed the single guys next to us got a lot of attention. Overall we really enjoyed ourselves!

Chill vibe, good music plenty of places to sit booth or table options family and kid friendly during the day.. party at night. Waited to be greeted shortly at the door, service was ok.. she was attentive may have been having a bad day she looked miserable.. but she did her job can't complain‍.. we just ordered drinks celebrating my girl turning 31:) tad bit pricey.. tho.

The low ratings here confuse me. Dierks Bentley whiskey row is exactly what it advertises itself as. It is a place with great music, lively, lively atmosphere that gets a little NSFW in the evening. They are going to be lines because people wanna get inside there is going to be greasy food because it's a bar. There's going to be stuff on the floor because there are a couple hundred people in there. It's going to be a fun time for everyone with the option to rent out couches for a little bit of escape from the rambunctiousness. They are not advertising fine dining. They are not advertising quiet atmosphere. They are not advertising healthy food. No your restaurant. Get your buddies together, choose the night that the Jake Jones band is playing, and go have a heck of a time!

First time here, and I thought it was great. Ambiance/Atmosphere (5/5) - Huge location (Gilbert) with plenty of space to hang out with friends. Staff (5/5) - Friendly and attentive. I didn't have any issues when ordering either food or drinks. Food/Drink - I ordered the following: Sliders - (Whiskey, American and Tennessee Hot) - 5/5 - $4 EACH. I recommend the Whiskey and Tenn Hot. Giant Pretzel - 4/5 - $8 - HUGE pretzel. Great snack when drinking Apple of My Eye - (4/5) - Beverage made with Crown Apple. $7 during Happy Hour. Not very strong Same Ol' Fashioned - (5/5) - Made with Maker's Mark. Cannot complain when it is also $7 during Happy Hour. Overall, I really enjoyed this place. I wasn't able to order much as I was hopping around, but I will definitely come back the next time I am in town.

Fish and chips.

We stopped by while we were in town, and I ordered the fish and chips. The coleslaw had a spicy kick--I'm not sure what was in it, but it made my tongue sting. I finished one piece of the fish, which was pretty salty, and the fries were crispy and tasty. But after the coleslaw, my mouth was still burning, so I only ate a few fries and didn't touch the second piece of fish. On a brighter note, the music was really good! The musician played a couple of my favorite songs, which made the atmosphere really enjoyable. Our server, Londyn, was incredibly sweet and attentive--she was definitely the highlight of our visit, along with the music.

But a friend wanted to meet for food around the area and this spit popped up on Yelp. It didn't disappoint! I was skeptical at first as having a sign posted at the sidewalk and a bouncer outside the stairs going down, was a sheer sign that this isn't such a secret and speakeasy-like spot. But I was proven wrong very quickly. Dre who was the bouncer and I'd much rather call Drayden, is young but friendly. The hall leading down to the entrance was well decorated. It's hard to miss the door when you can hear people on the other side :). Hostess was nice. Alex immediately introduced himself from behind the bar as I sat down, and Meagan was the main bartender this night. They were both a wealth of knowledge when it came to cocktails. I really wasn't expecting too much but the two drinks I ordered were a solid 5/5. I had the silk bandit and the untold legacy. I like sweet drinks this way. It wasn't too sweet. All the flavors were well balanced and well thought out. They also had a girl singing tonight and she was amazing!!! Thanks for a nice relaxing night. Service was a 5/5 and I'd definitely come back if I'm in the area.

This time was checking…read moreout a speakeasy located in the heart of downtown Gilbert on a Friday evening at 9 p.m. I parked for free on the street before making my way to The White Rabbit. There are some things I really love about The White Rabbit and some that I didn't. Ambiance (3/5): When I think of a speakeasy, I think intimate. The White Rabbit is not that. It's pretty large for a speakeasy with a large bar and a good number of tables/booths. They weren't at capacity while I was there, but there were a good number of people there. Which made it pretty loud. To the point where you have to yell at your bartender when ordering your drink so they can hear you. Perhaps a much different experience on a week day. Getting in the speakeasy was both a hit and a miss. If you're subscribed to their email list, as I am, you get a different password every month. I was excited about this. Upon approaching The White Rabbit, I saw a sign naming the establishment and pointing me in the right direction. This takes away from the spirit of speakeasies which are supposed to be truly hidden without any signage identifying the restaurant. You'll see a velvet rope blocking a stairwell where you tell one of the bouncers the password. I had a reservation. If you don't know the password, as another party there didn't, they ask you to access a QR code to find out or ask others who are waiting. I appreciated the dedication to the cause. Once you get in, you walk down the stairwell, and then enter a cool hallway decked out with Prohibition-style decor. That leads you into the main room. The main room is also Prohibition-style though a bit unremarkable. The bathrooms are clean and also feature some cool paintings (and they also hide that they are actual bathrooms). With that being said, when I liked the hallway and the bathrooms better than the bar itself, that's a bit of an issue. Seats at the bar are bar stools without back support. Never fun for my old man back. I did, on the other hand, appreciate that they have free WiFi. Service (3.5/5): The service was generally pretty good, though a bit slow. They start you off with some water without asking you which is always a nice touch. It was just one of those situations where you have to put some effort into getting a bartender's attention on several occasions. Food (N/A): I had dinner prior so no food for me. I did check out the menu. They have a small selection of appetizers, flatbreads, and desserts. Drinks (3/5): When I'm at a speakeasy, I'm looking for creativity and an interesting blend of ingredients and flavors. While The White Rabbit has a good number of cocktails, many of them didn't attract me. Part of it is a matter of personal preference. There were only two drinks out of about 20 that I was interested in. Overall, I wanted a little more, but with that being said, the drinks were reasonably priced for a speakeasy. Not a bad speakeasy by any means, I have super high standards when it comes to these watering holes. Just not in my top five when it comes to speakeasies in Phoenix and surrounding areas.

While topped with a good amount of cheese on top, once congealed, any chip on the bottom that you pull out is just going to be a naked chip. They do top these chips off with a generous amount of toppings. Brunch Burger ($19 - Angus beef patty, sunny side egg, avocado, applewood smoked bacon, cheddar, sriracha aioli, hash brown patty, brioche bun, choice of fresh fruit or breakfast potatoes): I shared this burger and requested the kitchen to cut it for me which they did. Very thankful that they were okay with the request. The burger itself was decent. It was a little weird to eat as the tiny hash brown patty made the structural integrity funny but it's not a deal breaker. I will say that it needed more sauce or something. I love a good rooftop and the weather was perfect. While they don't have a parking lot, free parking is available on the street and in the various surface lots and garages in the area. Ambiance (4.5/5): It's tough to beat a rooftop. Here you'll have nice views of downtown Gilbert, including the historic Gilbert water tower (which lights up at night). It's not a huge restaurant/bar, probably 50 seats or so. A good number of tables and then 15 seats or so at the bar. We sat at the bar. There's a pretty nice mural on one end too. Service (4/5): A little slow to start out with and to close out, but overall, friendly. We found one of the last four remaining seats at the bar. If not for that, there would have been a wait. I pointed out a table at the far end, well away from the entrance, but was directed instead to what felt like the least desirable table, with the reasoning being they might need the space for a large party. After a bit of back-and-forth, they eventually let us sit where we preferred, but it made for a poor first impression -- especially considering the restaurant never filled up. PARLOUR DOOM Came…read morethrough on a Saturday night and this small bar was packed and only took about 50 people piled in there to fill it up. The place was not called ROOM for nothin. It felt about the size of a Master Bedroom. There were two 'rooms' actually; the main room and a smaller adjacent room, which would be like a big walk-in closet to this Master Bedroom. The big room had a few standing tables and the small room had some chairs and couches with tables that you can actually sit at. The smaller room contained a mini bar area that that you can also sit at, but was not being used to serve at the time. This master bedroom had a Master of Ceremonies playing music, but he was definitely a Master of Disaster on the turn tables. This D.J. had a pattern where he would play a song and maybe 20 seconds into it, people would start feeling the music, but then he would switch the song. Talk about killin the vibe! Well, there was no cover charge, so maybe that's why there's a neon sign in there that says "No Free Vibes". It was like they were the Vibe Nazis. The other atrocity was how he was tried to mix the tracks. He was trying to mix songs from every genre of every decade. The DJ was overlapping newer songs with older songs, maybe to cater to the age range of the crowd, but the result sounded like he was just messing around for the first time on new turn tables he got for Christmas. He tried to mix songs which didn't even go together or have a mixable beat i.e. 'Macarena' and 'In the End' by Linkin Park. This abomination was an insult to the artists and fans of music in general. To make things worse, the DJ tried to hype the crowd by talking over the mic intermittently, but all he accomplished was interrupting the songs. I almost had second-hand embarrassment for him. It would have been better if he just had a recorded track of songs and just played the preset music. I think you are better off paying for your vibes elsewhere if you want to dance or hear music. You would think, getting people drunk makes everything better and more fun, right? Well if you can't get them drunk because the bar service was taking such a long time, then you are gonna have a lot of bored, sober customers. I did not drink but all I know, for the rest of my group, it was taking 15 minutes to get a couple simple cocktails. You could probably walk to the liquor store across the street and chug a beer quicker than you could get a round of drinks. This place has potential. It was not a bad space overall for a lounge type bar. The décor, aesthetic, and lighting gave it a nice ambiance. They just need to get adequate staff to serve the drinks and play music.

Absolutely NOT the case here. You could literally put all the pages of the menu on a wall, throw a dart, and whatever you hit would be delicious and interesting in its own right. The place is a little small, but honestly, that's what I love about it. It feels cozy in all the right ways. It's also very relaxing, floating along the sea with some delightful surprises here and there. We ordered several drinks, but one that's not on the menu (and they do make it) is the Pearl Diver, which is magnificent here.
