Parking can be a little tough during peak hours but there's usually spaces available in the parking lot, even if they're further down the business strip. With breakfast, lunch, and dinner options Wed-Sat they have a good variety of items to choose from. If you're a coffee person, there's is delicious and strong. My personal favorite is the Cuban sandwich, but we love exploring new items on the menu and have been working our way through it. Some other items we've tried and enjoyed are the shredded beef omelette, tostones rellenos, papa rellena, along with flan for dessert. The best way to explore the menu is by sharing items with friends. if you like hot sauce, theirs is also delicious and goes well on a lot of their dishes. The team here is so sweet and we're always happy to dine at Sol Cubano.

Hostess was friendly, prompt, and seated us quickly. I love the inside decor and the feeling of being on the island. I plan to come back again and introducing this spot to my other friends! I hope they open a location closer to midtown Sacramento, I'm sure it'd be a hit

The restaurant is also decorated with Colombian flair all over. It's really fun to check out all the different things they have around - like the pink payphone! I'd say the best thing to get at Divina are the empanadas. This appetizer is filled with beef, chicken, or potato. They are crisp and come out piping hot. The server told me that you need to take the first bite and then when it's opened up you spoon the sauce into it. I was glad for this information and the empanada with sauce was great! I wouldn't have known to do this otherwise. The arepa was also good - especially if you are a fan of quesadillas as it has a similar flavor profile. It's cheese inside a pillowy outer shell. The cheese has a rich flavor that is very savory. I found the bandeja paisa dish to be very large and substantial. There were many meats and protein on the dish. Some were better cooked than others. Overall this restaurant is very unique and worth a try!

This is kind of in a sketchy part of town, but worth a visit. We started off with a beef and a chicken empanada to share - These were fried and different than the Spanish ones I have had elsewhere. They were so good. I really liked the green salsa that was paired with it. On the recommendation of the waitress, we both got cafe de ariquipes which were coffees with caramel. They were sweet, but not overly so, which is the way I like it. We also got the bandeja paisa plate that was just ok. We felt the meat was on the dry side but the standouts were the plantains. We also got an order of the cheese arepa and asked for more hot sauce... She hooked it up with their homemade salsa which was so good and fresh tasting. That sauce is so good. All in all, a tasty spot. I'd come back to try some other things.

Lola's caught my eye when I was visiting Willie's, a different Sacramento favorite, and their menu…read moredrew me in. You don't see a lot of Puerto Rican centric restaurants in California much less Sacramento so I was excited to try something different. We sampled a smorgasbord of different menu items but the two that really stuck with me and the ones that I will be back for were the Cubano sandwich and the chopped cheese. The beef in the chopped cheese was well seasoned and it felt light but filling at the same time. The tanginess of the pickle in the Cubano really balances out the heavier pork ingredients. The bread was so crunchy I could have made an ASMR video just based on the crunch. Both dishes were common if you are familiar with or spending time in New York, but it's really awesome that there's a place in Sacramento to go when you are craving a chopped cheese or Cubano. The restaurant was clean and the service was top notch. I wish other restaurants would leave a small carafe of soda at the desk so we don't have to ask for refills. There's a lot more of the menu to explore so I think another visit is in my future. I just hope I won't panic and just order the chopped cheese, but that wouldn't be the end of the world.

We were so full that we didn't end up ordering dessert. However, we will definitely be back once the weather cools down to try more items on the menu. The cashier was friendly and helpful to navigate the menu. We opted for the 2 fish tacos or 2 shrimp tacos daily special for $8.75 and three in an al pastor Torta and grilled chicken street taco to boot. Chips and salsa are included. Fish taco - 9 - Nice crunchy batter with fresh fish and amazing punch with the pickled onions and Chipotle Crema Shrimp taco - 8 - Fresh shrimp but lacks spice. Pickled onions and Chipotle Crema give it flavor. Super Torta with Al pastor - 7 - Sadly they gave us a very plain carne asada but the rest of the Torta was good. Street taco combination with grilled chicken - 5 - The chicken was very bland but nicely cooked. The beans were terrific and the rice was just ok Pretty cool taqueria with some tasty items and ones to avoid unless you prefer your meats bland. We saw a molcajete on one table and a sizzling plate of fajitas at another which intrigues us for another time. I'd come back for the seafood tacos and the beans though!!!
