I find they have a rather large selection of various spirits available at a reasonable price. Perhaps they don't carry that expensive bottle of champagne or whiskey you're seeking, that doesn't mean their selection is limited. Not by any means. Practically any form of spirits you're seeking they have. Many brand names from top to bottom shelf. It is not a large store compared to ABC liquors but they have quite a bit to offer. Don't let the size fool you. Not finding what you're looking for means you branch out, try something similar, something completely different. If you're wanting a nice alcoholic beverage when you get home they have something you can be content with. If the ladies are talking to one another and you need assistance, simply ask. They are nice people and genuinely desire your business. They are not corporate, they are real human beings. And mind your manners. If you're not satisfied with their offerings perhaps this is not the store for you. Go to ABC if you can't find it here. Or ask if they can carry the product you desire. Any time I can't find my favorite I ask them to order more...and they do. But I never leave empty-handed. Personally I find no fault at all with this store. I have nothing to complain about and question those who do. P.S. The comment "We went through the drive-thru..." is bogus. They have no drive-thru. And yes they may card you if they do not know you, that is the law and everyone must be prepared to show ID when requested. Wake up, you're an adult you should know that.

Don't let looks fool you. Did I mention the burgers? I was in heaven with my BREAKFAST BURGER! I opted for the SWEET POTATO FRIES as my side which was perfect pairing with the syrup laden burger goodness!!! Another person at the table ordered the SCALLOPS which were on special. They were good. This is a pub where you can get standard fare such as burgers or fancier options such as scallops! They were a little under staffed. Our bar tender also was the waiter for tables in the bar room. The atmosphere was warm, friendly, and comfortable, and it really did feel like stepping into a cozy Irish pub. The servers were wonderful, the bartender was great, and everyone around us seemed happy. The food was fantastic. I had the steak and cheese hoagie, and it was made with real steak. The peppers and onions were absolutely amazing, and the whole sandwich was one of the best I have ever had. I also had the shrimp and grits, and they were the best I have ever had--ever. They were savory, rich, perfectly seasoned, and beautifully presented. You can tell the chef cares deeply about both quality and presentation. Everything tasted fresh, thoughtfully prepared, and generous without being overdone. One of my friends had the drunken chicken salad, and it was marinated and cooked perfectly. I saw several dishes come out while I was there, and I never heard one complaint from anyone. The desserts were also incredible. The butter cake was rich, had a beautiful texture, and was drizzled with raspberry sauce. I also tried the bread pudding after hearing people talk about it, and while the presentation surprised me at first because it was cut into little cubes, the taste was absolutely wonderful. I only got one picture, of my shrimp and bread, because everything else disappeared before we remembered to take photos. That probably says it all. There are a lot of places to eat on Jekyll Island, but Wee Pub is absolutely worth it. It is right across from the convention center on the corner, and I would go back in a heartbeat.

We thought a couple apps and some wings would be just the thing during a busy college football week . They have something called tailgate poutine. I have never had poutine like this. The fries were covered in a bland pot roast, they said there was gravy but it was just the juice created by the pot roast. 5 cheese curds on the whole plate. They were awful. We got chips and queso. The queso was room temperature. Like they opened the can and put it in the bowl. It took about 10 minutes to get a replacement and we did not get enough chips to eat it all. The wings were on point. We had hot garlic and carribean jerk. They were cooked perfect, had enough sauce and both flavors tasted good. Our service was pretty bad. We had to wave someone down when we needed drink refills and to get a bill. Once we got our bill it took way to long to get cashed out. Our drinks included a whiskey sour, Tito's vodka with Red Bull, a double Jameson neat, and a Miller Lite. Unfortunately, only three things came out right: the wings, the Jameson, and the Miller Lite. What made this even more disappointing was that there couldn't have been more than 15 people in the entire restaurant. Every food item was served cold, the chicken on both salads was not grilled as ordered, and instead of mixed greens, we were served iceberg lettuce. As locals, this is especially frustrating because we've given this place multiple chances over the years, but the experience is always inconsistent. For a bill of over $95, we expected much better. Most of the food was either left uneaten or simply wasn't worth eating. Sadly, I think this will be our last visit.

I arrived unaware of its history, but the owner's love for basketball is unmistakable, and the locals reflect that same devotion... not just to the sport, but to the space itself. There's an ease here, a sense that people aren't just passing through. I took a seat at the bar, did what one does in such environments, and ordered an IPA. It was solid... confident, balanced, exactly what you'd hope for. But then came the onion rings, which I ordered based on a subtle but unmistakable social cue: everyone else seemed to be eating them. Reader, they were correct. These were not mere onion rings. These were structurally sound, texturally precise, and philosophically complete. Large, fully cooked onions, no trace of that unpleasant raw bite, encased in a crisp, golden coating that somehow maintained its integrity from first bite to last. Crunchy, consistent, and deeply satisfying. Naturally, I paired them with blue cheese dressing because I'm from upstate New York, and that is not a preference, it is doctrine.

Their shipwrecked wings were solid as were the deep fried deviled eggs -- something, I hadn't experienced before but was impressed with how it was prepared. Aesthetically, it's this large cavernous space with beige walls that appears at one point it could have been a mattress store that then transformed into a bar with a full kitchen. The bar is very no frills with pool tables set up at opposite corners of the establishment but still close to the bar counter that is island-style. They have some arcade games and a space for table seating. Cocktail wise, it's nothing grand. Don't go thinking you are going to order Negronis there. I kept it simple and ordered a Yuengling draft and a Duke's Brown Ale from a local brewery. Both were served cold and were refreshing. My wife settled on her standard G&Ts and was satisfied. The staff were friendly as was the owner who I think also was the Kitchen Manager as well. It was a Monday night when the Saints and Falcons were playing so we were checking our fantasy scores. It serves as a local handout spot for sure and is probably wicked packed on fridays and saturdays. Still it was loud due to the church group of preteens and teens that were holding court at one pool table area before moving directly behind us at the other area. Would have preferred not to have that much noise but I also thought, they were at least having fun and doing something friendly as opposed to getting into trouble as I rationalized. The tavern is a fair spot if you need a beer and some wings. And a game of pool if you're inclined and can grab an open table.
