Legitimately just had the worst customer service almost ever in your DICK'S Sporting Goods store in Natick, MA. I went on to try some size 10.5 UA Curry 2.5 in the grey (my fiancee bought size 10 for our anniversary last week) because of the new tongue design of the shoe. I walk into the footwear section and stand there waiting for a sales associate to come greet me. When he finally does (after me being there a few minutes in the middle of footwear) i asked him specifically for the size 10.5 grey UA Curry 2.5's. He informs me that you guys don't sell that shoe in store. I said to him that i know you guys do and he argued that you don't. So Informed him of how my fiancee bought them there last week, that you have them on display on a table in footwear, and when you walk into the department they are also on the mannequin. It took me walking over and showing him the shoes for him to believe me. He scanned it and said they had the size i was looking for, then proceeded to go out back and came back like 5 minutes later saying he couldn't find them (reoccurring theme with the 4 people i watched him "help") even though his handheld device said he had it. The 10.5 he was looking for happened to be on the mannequin behind him if he had looked like I did. He proceeded to just leave me standing there instead of trying to get other shoes for me. After trying to help another customer, I finally got his attention (about 10 minutes later) to ask him to bring out a 10.5 of any of the same shoes in other colors for me to try (figured this would be automatic thought of his). He brought two for me to try, put them on a bench and I sat down. As I put one on he decided to take a seat on the display tables, and pull his phone out and start texting in front of me. I told him I did not like the shoes and i was going to look around. I finally found two pairs of shoes i liked and he told me that none of the shoes came in a 10 that I normally wear. I asked him if I could order one online and have it shipped to me and he responded, "yea you can, well i mean hopefully you can." it was at this point I walked out of the store discouraged and displeased to say the least. I am a footwear manager for a different company and was appalled with what I saw. None of my employees would ever be allowed to act like that to a single customer.
I come to DICK'S Sporting Goods for my shoes for your variety of Nike and Under-armour shoes (which the employee said you didn't have a great selection of), but can honestly tell you that I may just return the shoes my fiancee bought, get the refund to her credit card and go buy shoes elsewhere. It was not like the store was busy, or he was running around doing anything. He was just not interested, lazy, and careless. Very disappointing experience in your store. At the end of the day I was in the store for almost 40 minutes to absolutely no avail. read more
