Always happy here. Great selection. Best quality merchandise. We like the sneakers baseball equip fishing equipment exercise equipment and bikes.

Everything here is pretty overpriced. Majority of the items I found pretty quickly selling for less at online competitors or elsewhere. I never saw a better price but I did find a lot of exact price matches. Don't be deceived by the sales u less it is the deep discount items from the prior season. They do keep the store nice and clean though and the way they have the place set up really makes you wanna walk through each section and poke around. Location wise it's right next to the Freehold mall , the restaurant side. Pretty easy to get to from route 9.

Would rather have went online to buy product we ended up buying there because it was supposed to be a gift and we are under time constraints for getting it. While Dick's is a huge retail sporting good store they only match prices of competitors when you provide a flyer from the competitor, they don't match online pricing, and they didn't have the item we originally went there for. We were looking for a basic version of camping cooking pots and all they had was the upgraded version. We could find it online for ~55 and in store we payed ~70 dollars. Their selection of men's slowpitch softball bats is also pretty meager. Would rather go to an online retailer for that as well. I'm thinking brick and mortar stores need to come up with something to be more competitive with online retailers, because honestly unless I need to try something on, I'm going online for all I can anymore, especially if they won't match prices. On the plus side we met an associate who was very helpful with trying to locate another Dick's nearby that had the item we wanted, but none of those stores had it either. I'd shop here again, but only if in a similar situation where I was pressed for time on the gift.

I dunno I mean it just seems like every time I go here, I realize that shopping here is a pain in the butt. It's unfair to acknowledge their sheer size, inventory, selection, and layout but the prices are always at the high end of the range like a sweatshirt is $55 and I just bought one the other day at Nike Outlet I think for $25 or so, and I'm pretty sure their the same maybe a little different. What really blows is the line you have to wait in. Today's line was just flat out comical; people were seriously just laughing about it which is nice as opposed to dropping the stuff and walking out. And what's a real pisser is they had like 5 or 6 registers open but nobody on them. One would assume at Christmas time (and by Christmas I mean Wednesday 12/17) all registers would be open...I guess that makes me an ass.

Horrible customer service. Except for Joe in the fishing department. He was awesome. Otherwise, go to L&H in Wall for your fishing needs.

Since when did dicks stop given out the youth football discount??!??!?!?…read more My son has played on the golden Eagels in Bayville since he was 5... every year I come to dicks to get new cleats, practice pants, cups, mouth guards, occasional a new duffle bag to keep helmet and shoulder pads in, undershirts, water bottles, etc... Every year I mention the football league and they give me a discount, until I went in Monday night 7/29/24. The floor assistance wasn't too bad I did manage to find someone to help me w cleats and a dressing room but when I asked where a product is they had no idea or pointed me in a different direction. Which isn't a big deal but I left never finding football socks there was a small wall of soccer socks but no football anyways.. I begin to check out and while I'm checking out I asked the woman at the register if she can't give me the youth football discount, she immediately tells me no because they only give out physical coupons now without it she has nothing to scan... so I said ok hold on let me call the league because this has never happened before... they never give us in person coupons.. the person I got ahold of said they requested a discount code a few days before that Microsoft crash and that affected dicks so there still waiting for a response but even they told me just tell her the name of the team which I did this woman just had a nasty attitude.. I don't get it it's not coming out of your pay check I know they have scannable coupons at the register I've seen them beep them before. It's shame she's not willing to help a single mom buying my kid football stuff.. it gets worse tho she tells me my total.... 500$ what the hell... so I start looking over everything I got items were coming up more money on their computer system then I says on the tags! I had to physically show her the duffle bag was 79.99 it came up 89.99 it wasn't on sale the original price was 79.99, then other things were way off too I got him 2 mouth guards a nice one that was 20$ and a thinner cheaper one that was 11$ except the 11$ one came up 26!!! You would think after almost over charging me had I just swiped my card she would give me a discount.. nope she just said she didn't look at the tag prices she just scanned them and left them at the price they came up... so she fixed it and put the correct price in but that was so annoying I told her I'm holding onto the receipt so I can get a price adjustment once I get my discount code. But she told me it won't matter because their coupons are only good on the weekends and i came in on Monday so it wont count... this lady is a complete bitch for no reason. Thanks a lot DICKS

Their newest location finally opened up at the Freeholds Raceway Mall. Entrance is on the first…read morefloor but it's two stories. The first floor is filled with sports clothing for both men, women, and children. They also carry water bottles, tumblers, coolers, and gifts such as fun cozy socks. The second floor hosts all the sports clothing, uniforms, and equipment, for various sports such as golf, boxing, baseball, camping, etc. They also have an indoor and outdoor sports themed area for Hitrax cage rental. At $15 you can play for 15 minutes. At $40, you get 60 minutes of rental. Did I mention their two story climbing wall? It's like climbing the Giant's beanstalk from Jack and the Beanstalk. It's humongous. Every area where you can do a physical activity, you do get charged to play. The employees are super friendly and ready to help you find things but I couldn't find the person who runs the wall climbing. I did notice I needed to scan their QR code to book an appointment for my climbing wall experience. The site of fully stocked and looks great as it's brand new.

I wasn't too enthused during the construction and remodeling because I knew all about Dick's Sporting Goods. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to visit early in November, 2 weeks after its grand opening. First, it's a new name, DICK's House of Sport. Second, this location is ginormous, unlike any Dick's I've ever been to. I had to look it up, there are only 26 of these super DICK's stores in the US at the time of this writing. There are two floors. The first floor is mostly apparels and shoes, whereas all sporting equipment are located on the second floor. In addition to the number of selections for everything, there are many hands-on experience you can participate: a batting cage, indoor climbing walls, golf simulators, outdoor soccer field and running tracks. This is a great addition to the Raceway Mall. I'm excited!
