Everything here is pretty overpriced. Majority of the items I found pretty quickly selling for less at online competitors or elsewhere. I never saw a better price but I did find a lot of exact price matches. Don't be deceived by the sales u less it is the deep discount items from the prior season. They do keep the store nice and clean though and the way they have the place set up really makes you wanna walk through each section and poke around. Location wise it's right next to the Freehold mall , the restaurant side. Pretty easy to get to from route 9.

Would rather have went online to buy product we ended up buying there because it was supposed to be a gift and we are under time constraints for getting it. While Dick's is a huge retail sporting good store they only match prices of competitors when you provide a flyer from the competitor, they don't match online pricing, and they didn't have the item we originally went there for. We were looking for a basic version of camping cooking pots and all they had was the upgraded version. We could find it online for ~55 and in store we payed ~70 dollars. Their selection of men's slowpitch softball bats is also pretty meager. Would rather go to an online retailer for that as well. I'm thinking brick and mortar stores need to come up with something to be more competitive with online retailers, because honestly unless I need to try something on, I'm going online for all I can anymore, especially if they won't match prices. On the plus side we met an associate who was very helpful with trying to locate another Dick's nearby that had the item we wanted, but none of those stores had it either. I'd shop here again, but only if in a similar situation where I was pressed for time on the gift.

I dunno I mean it just seems like every time I go here, I realize that shopping here is a pain in the butt. It's unfair to acknowledge their sheer size, inventory, selection, and layout but the prices are always at the high end of the range like a sweatshirt is $55 and I just bought one the other day at Nike Outlet I think for $25 or so, and I'm pretty sure their the same maybe a little different. What really blows is the line you have to wait in. Today's line was just flat out comical; people were seriously just laughing about it which is nice as opposed to dropping the stuff and walking out. And what's a real pisser is they had like 5 or 6 registers open but nobody on them. One would assume at Christmas time (and by Christmas I mean Wednesday 12/17) all registers would be open...I guess that makes me an ass.

The first floor is filled with sports clothing for both men, women, and children. They also carry water bottles, tumblers, coolers, and gifts such as fun cozy socks. The second floor hosts all the sports clothing, uniforms, and equipment, for various sports such as golf, boxing, baseball, camping, etc. They also have an indoor and outdoor sports themed area for Hitrax cage rental. At $15 you can play for 15 minutes. At $40, you get 60 minutes of rental. Did I mention their two story climbing wall? It's like climbing the Giant's beanstalk from Jack and the Beanstalk. It's humongous. Every area where you can do a physical activity, you do get charged to play. The employees are super friendly and ready to help you find things but I couldn't find the person who runs the wall climbing. I did notice I needed to scan their QR code to book an appointment for my climbing wall experience. The site of fully stocked and looks great as it's brand new.

I wasn't too enthused during the construction and remodeling because I knew all about Dick's Sporting Goods. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I finally got to visit early in November, 2 weeks after its grand opening. First, it's a new name, DICK's House of Sport. Second, this location is ginormous, unlike any Dick's I've ever been to. I had to look it up, there are only 26 of these super DICK's stores in the US at the time of this writing. There are two floors. The first floor is mostly apparels and shoes, whereas all sporting equipment are located on the second floor. In addition to the number of selections for everything, there are many hands-on experience you can participate: a batting cage, indoor climbing walls, golf simulators, outdoor soccer field and running tracks. This is a great addition to the Raceway Mall. I'm excited!

I was browsing for items and when I asked product questions she seemed uninformed and hesitant but then would go off on lengthy tangents that were out of context. At one point she posed a question that warranted a response but then seemed unaware she'd even asked a question moments earlier. I later realized she seemed to always have the last word in conversing and it came off as though she was trying to insult or overpower me. The entire experience turned me off as unusual. When I realized I needed to get out of there for the items I came in for and should just go to Princeton which I love it was difficult to politely do so and vacate the premises. The saleswoman wouldn't stop talking or let me leave/cut me off and insisted I listen to something that really just didn't make sense at all and to be honest sucked up a lot of time.

Think of the crumbling Sears department store chain, take one of their vacated stores and fill it with cheap disposable clothing and you have the essence of Primark. The dated retail monstrosity of Freehold Raceway Mall has never been a personal favorite but the absolute dishevelment inside Primark makes the rest of the place feel like Rodeo Drive. Shelves... why bother... just dig through the threadbare rags on the floor. Hey, there's a really nifty polyester sport coat I can wear to my next arraignment. I saw it first clown, give it back. So, you wanna play rough... You get the picture. Just having the jacket on for two minutes compelled other shoppers to spontaneously give me money. Why bother with a tin cup. I never thought that any retailer could be worse than Sears but Primark certainly has aspirations to that fetid crown. Two polyester stars.

It was horrible! Pam the manager was mean and unprofessional for a request that has been granted in the past -- a simple garbage bag, which I offered to pay for. I'll be going elsewhere from now on to pickup donation items.
