Love this place !! An outdoor outlet with lots to offer. I love coming here as it's never really too packed and you can actually walk around and not have to stand in line for too long. I find great deals here always but the best offers are always on holiday weekends. They have plenty of parking and most stores. I would definitely recommend this outlet to anyone looking for a good deal.

A nice and quaint outdoor mall in Jersey. There are many more shops at this mall than I thought. All signs and directory were easy to navigate to the stores I wanted to shop. The food court is small though and not a lot of food selections. Bathrooms were kept clean and tidy, making shopping around in the cold a bit more enjoyable. Some shops do have deals- not a deep discount, but enough of a draw for me to walk in. Overall, a good outdoor mall with good selections of popular brand name stores.

Nice shopping experience overall! We stopped into Starbucks, Nike, Hey Dudes, and a few other stores. The outlets were clean, easy to navigate, and had a good mix of shops. Plenty of parking and not overly crowded, which made for a pleasant visit. Dropping one star only because some stores didn't have the best deals, but still a solid place to spend a few hours browsing and shopping. Also, lost a star because I couldn't find a place to buy a Red Bull lol!

Can never pass up the Nathan's nuggets on my way back from the Ugg store. I ordered my boots online and had to pick them up cause the outlet didn't have them. Super ugly cute boots lol. #Trend setter.. next year everyone will have them. The outlets weren't crowded but the feel of the holidays returned as I walked in and by, some of my favorite stores.

We went to get some long pants for my son when we were down the shore and the weather was colder than expected. It's an outdoor outlet but there is a little bit of shelter for light rain. The food court is smallish, not much of a selection. Woodbury has a much better food selection and more stores. But you are in a shore area and looking for something to do, you can spend an hour or two there depending on what you are looking for and know your price.

It's a small outlet, stores majority are middle tires. With price hikes, outlets are definitely the place to go these days; with discounts and additional % off. I didn't find stores I was looking for, as they have limited stores.

It is 15 miles away

Is there a capacity limit in stores, can you try clothes on and are bathrooms open?

No for limits in stores. Yes for trying on clothes. Bathrooms are located in the food court and open. Keep in mind that indoors you have to be masked up. Pro tip, go during the week if you can. :)

Are they open?

Yes. Believe the hours are 11-7:30

Are dogs allowed?

Dogs are allowed. Some stores will not let them. But I've worked in the outlets for a few years. None of the stores I've worked at have said no.

I live within 5 miles of this mall in an "upscale" area and have shopped here since it opened. In the last two years, the Mall has transformed into an almost unaffordable shopping experience. Moderate price stores have closed in large numbers. The recent closing of the Gap is a case in point. Chico's, Banana Republic and Loft are no longer there. I used to take my grand daughter for a day of shopping before school opened for the year. No more. I cannot shop at Lois Vuitton, Fendi or the other stores at those price points. There are many " upper middle class" people who do not frequent ultra luxury stores. I find myself only going to the mall on an inclement day to do my daily walk.

(In my defense, I am carrying an iced latte.) This is not your typical suburban mall. There are no fluorescent lights illuminating a food court full of teenagers eating pretzels. Instead, you'll find restaurants, cafés, valet parking, and enough designer stores to make you briefly consider whether you, too, are the kind of person who needs a silk scarf. The Short Hills Mall somehow manages to feel both luxurious and welcoming. Whether you're there to buy a designer handbag or simply wander around with a coffee and people-watch, there's something lovely about spending an afternoon here. Five stars for allowing me to feel rich for a few hours.

It's absolutely pointless to tell anyone to meet you at the nondescript Aldo or Aerie since I have no idea what those stores are. Maybe I'll just have them follow the vapor trail to Perfumania. Stores change so often and the layout is so disorienting that it feels almost casino-like in the absence of night versus day. Every once in awhile I check in just to take the temperature of brick and mortar commerce but honestly, it's never been the same since Swiss Colony and Spencer Gifts took a powder. Four stars for the nostalgia... now where the hell did I park that Lumina...

She loves Bloomies, Saks, Home Goods, etc. And we both love Trader Joe's, Shake Shack, France and Sons, etc. And then there Banana Republic, the Gap, various eateries, and more. And it's all situated basically in a U shape, with the parking lot in the middle, surrounded by 3 sides of stores. It's just large enough to have all the big names, but small enough that you don't get lost. From the middle of the parking lot, you can literally see every store. That way you don't have to wonder around aimlessly like in some larger malls. About Trader Joe's: there's isn't a convenient one near us in Queens. So, we always drive a little farther out here in Long Island. It's so much more convenient and less crowded here than in Queens. Asides from that, the location is also close to a couple of our other favorite places, such as Roosevelt Field Mall and Total Wine.
