Receipt for the heat and serve Turkey. Manager will not discuss it

Don't buy your Thanksgiving Turkey here and expect it to be ready to go. Last year mine came raw.

Big yellow cup doesn't fit in tiny '95 cup holders.

I haven't had Dickey's since I actually lived in Texas. I got a chopped brisket sandwich which tasted great except the meat was cold. The sides of bbq bean and friend okra we're hot and delicious. Other than the cold sandwich, my only other complaint is that the "bug yellow cup" doesn't fit in my cup holder. I guess it's time for a bigger car. Lol

Fantastic sweet tea!

First - location is in a perfect spot with ample parking at the new location. Very accessible…read more Second - service and cleanliness is second to none. You won't find dirty tables or drink area out of order at any time of the day. You will be greeted as soon as you open the door and patient when ordering your food also!! The staff is the best I have seen anywhere. I travel for a living and eat out 3 to 4 times a week because of it. This should be a training restaurant for many to learn how it should be done... Lastly - the FOOD. Simply awesome. Great flavor, ribs fall off the bone, the corn is to die for and those beans are the bomb! I travel in from Texas and this is my go to BBQ place while I am in town seeing family or going to OU sports activities. The food quality is excellent and consistent on every visit. I highly encourage everyone to give it a chance or two when craving a good BBQ meal. You won't regret it... Just GO...

The ribs had a nice smoke ring in them, good flavor, and like I said, tender. Definitely fall off the bone. The brisket ordered were little slices; I was hoping for a nice, big slice of bbq brisket, even if it costs a few dollars more. Cornbread was good, not dry. Services was quick, restaurant was clean, and the staff were friendly.

We were rolling up to Oklahoma City from Denton and my husband wanted to swing through Norman and…read moreroll by the OU campus since we used to live in Norman for a little while due to my job. We remembered Rudy's and how good it was so we swung by to eat. Well it hadn't changed. Everyone still greeted us in and made us feel welcomed. The drink tub is still right in front of the line and I was so glad they still had the Frosti Blue Cream Soda it was and still is my favorite! As I made my way through the line they still had the refrigerator with the potato salad, three bean salad, coleslaw and little pies and cheese. I saw my favorites the turkey and pulled pork. Their turkey breast is NEVER EVER dry. This is the place that made me fall in love with Grilled Turkey breast. We made it through the line and went to the tables that have their own BBQ sauce, Louisiana Hot Sauce and their own salt and pepper. They also have a cute bar that has pickles, onions, jalapeños, and peppers. So if you are ever in Norman for a football, basketball, baseball or softball game after it's over or before it begins stop on Highway 9 and treat yourself to Rudy's. You won't be disappointed.

0/10 -- Extremely Disappointed…read more I was starving and really wanted some good BBQ, so I found this restaurant on Google Maps and decided to give it a try because it had mostly good reviews. Honestly, I don't know how this place has the ratings it does. The ribs were the biggest disappointment. They tasted and had the texture of baked ribs rather than ribs that had actually been cooked on a BBQ pit. There was no noticeable smoke flavor or char, and they honestly didn't taste like they had ever seen a grill or smoker. When I go to a BBQ restaurant, that smoky BBQ flavor is exactly what I'm looking for. The jalapeño cheddar sausage was also extremely bland. All I could really taste was the cheddar. You couldn't taste much jalapeño, seasoning, or BBQ flavor at all. Again, that's not what I expect from a BBQ sausage. Then we tried the turkey, which honestly tasted like deli meat you could buy sliced at a grocery store. Very disappointing. They let us try some brisket, and unfortunately that was just as bland. It had very little, if any, noticeable smoke flavor. For me, brisket is one of the main things I judge a BBQ restaurant on, and this was a huge letdown. The potato salad was probably the best thing we had. It was decent, but even that was pretty bland and could have used more seasoning. For dessert, we had the banana pudding, which is one of my favorites. It was okay, but it was watery and didn't have the creamy pudding consistency I expected. Overall, this was one of the most disappointing BBQ meals I've had. I went in hungry and genuinely excited to eat some good BBQ, and unfortunately almost everything we tried fell short. I would not go back or recommend this place. 0/10 for me. Definitely would not try this place again.
