Hair is on the paper
Kim P.

I am so disgusted First of all, just off the bat the workers forgot our ribs and extra bread. Then, the pulled pork was ICE cold. Like, just pulled from the fridge cold. Which was concerning because I watched the worker pull the bag from the hot box upon picking up and everything else was hot. The real kicker was the hair that I found in my beans. $50 wasted. Do not eat here.

My fave go to sandwich is the big barbecue sandwich. It's always finger licking good.

Good food and helpful staff. The manager even gave me some coupons for no particular reason. We visit this place regularly and love it!

I wanted red beans and rice, but they sold out. My hubby and I shared chicken- fried steak meal, and my son had fried catfish. We were all very happy with our choices. I had not eaten all day, and I was glad we shared it was definitely enough for us. We all shared the Oreo pudding, and it was light and fluffy. Very good! If we lived here this would be a regular spot for us. 10/6/26

I had the grilled catfish with cream corn and a salad, and the catfish was cooked perfectly. Before going, I didn't realize it was a walk-in, walk-up-and-order type of restaurant where you get your own drink, find a seat, and they bring your food out to you. It wasn't a problem at all, just something I wasn't expecting. We also tried the onion rings. They were okay, but I really wish they came with some kind of dipping sauce. The biggest disappointment for me was the salad. It was basically just lettuce and cheese, so I definitely expected a little more there. That being said, I would absolutely eat here again. There are several other things on the menu I'd like to try, and the space itself is really nice and would be great for larger groups or crowds. Overall, a good lunch and definitely worth giving a try!

It was an off day for me and the last day of fall break for my son, so we figured we'd get out of the house and enjoy a nice meal together. Unfortunately, the food was a huge disappointment. I'll start with the positive. The service was great! Both the host and our server were wonderful, friendly, and attentive. We had absolutely no complaints about the service. The food, however, was a completely different story. We started with our usual appetizer, the Creole Spinach Dip, which wasn't bad. For our entrees, my husband ordered the grilled tacos, my eight-year-old ordered a cheese pizza from the kids' menu, and I ordered the Jambalaya Pasta without shrimp. Now, let me preface this by saying that I am NOT someone who likes to send food back to the kitchen once it's been brought to the table. I usually just try to make the best of it, and that's exactly what I did today. I've been craving a really good pasta dish, so when I saw the Jambalaya Pasta on the menu, I decided to give it a try. I believe it's a newer menu item, but what came out was basically Jambalaya Pasta SOUP! I'm not exaggerating. The sauce was so thin and watery that the pasta was practically swimming in it. I expected a flavorful, creamy pasta dish, but this was nowhere near that. I spent most of the meal picking around my plate, trying to find something worth eating. It was extremely disappointing, especially considering how much I had been looking forward to a good pasta dish. And then there was my son's pizza. When they brought it to the table, my eight-year-old looked at it and asked, "Mommy, what is that?" And honestly, I couldn't blame him! I've attached pictures because I don't even know how to describe what they served him. It certainly wasn't what we expected when ordering a simple cheese pizza from the kids' menu. If an eight-year-old is questioning what you've put in front of him, that should tell you something. My husband was the only one who seemed to enjoy his entree. He said his grilled tacos were pretty decent and didn't have any complaints. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that we're locals and have visited Georgia Blue plenty of times. This isn't our first visit, and we've enjoyed meals here before. We weren't trying somewhere new or taking a chance on a restaurant we'd never been to. We came expecting the quality we've experienced in the past. I understand that every restaurant can have an off day, but today was a pretty big miss for us. It's frustrating to spend money treating your family to lunch only to leave feeling like you would have been better off eating at home. Again, the staff was wonderful, and I don't want that to get lost in this review. Unfortunately, great service can only do so much when the food doesn't deliver. As much as we've enjoyed Georgia Blue in the past, I think we'll be taking a break from visiting for a while. Hopefully, the kitchen can get back to the quality that made us regular customers in the first place.

I am not sure how I have never found this place before now, but I can tell you that everyone else has. This place was packed! Parking was a nightmare. I cut off a cop and stole his parking spot. Yea! Stick it to the man, Adam! Giant community tables full of buffet goers. I wasn't sure if I could find a seat. I was impressed by the size at that point and then realized on the way out there was a whole second floor as well. It is freaking huge! When you pay, there is a little old lady that douses your hands with sprays of sanitizer. I did not care to partake, she did not care, and insisted. We aren't buddies. You can see the stank face she gave me. I don't care though, hater gonna hate. The buffet is rich with country foods. I was in love from the jump. Fast moving buffet food is my jam. They had all the things I like and tons of other things you folks like. I made two trips, I barely got most of the second down so I didn't get to enjoy dessert. That's ok, I like protein way better than sweet things. Thank you Allah for statin drugs! I had all the fried things! Fried chicken livers are some of my faves, especially if there is mashed potatoes and gravy involved. The fried chicken itself was great. Hell it was all good. I see why it's so damn busy. I think it was like $16 maybe. That's with a drink and endless food and dessert. My server was such a sweet lady and the bus staff were great too. They made sure you didn't want for anything and never had a dirty plate in front of you. I will be back as soon as possible. Planning a visit now! '26 - 102

First time here and it was pretty good. I met my husband there as a mid-week lunch date. There was…read morea pretty decent amount of people there but we were almost just overwhelmed? Right when you walk in, I knew it was going to be overstimulating. It is LOUD. And not just volume wise. Everything is loud. The walls are covered in football wallpaper, then signed pictures on top of that. Then tv's. Then speakers. Don't get me wrong, some people love that vibe. I just wasn't prepared for that walking into a BBQ place. Secondly, the menu is freaking massive. You stand up front to order, which reminds me of popeyes or arbys, etc. We stood there gaping for a good five minutes just trying to read ALL of the menu. I was thrown off from it because I would rather there be 14 items on the menu and you make sure those 14 items are fresh, hot, cooked perfectly every single time for consistency, rather than there be 44 items and it's just a luck of the draw whether you're going to have a hot or cold meal. I ordered a loaded potato, because yeah, overstimulated. So much at once and my mind just went *nope* so I got a loaded baked potato and their side of the day which was sweet potato casserole. Husband ordered two chili cheese coneys and fries. I told ya, it's alot at once. Both meals were hot, thankfully. Do I think it was $42 worth of lunch? not in the slightest. BUT I wanted (and will try again) to give it a shot. I just feel like its average. There are definitely room for improvements. Overall, worth a shot.

We were a party of 5 and we ordered different entrees on purpose so we could share a bite from each other's plate. Each bite made us sing the Campbells Soup Song. The menu is very extensive and making a choice was challenging. It's a mellow crisp environment. The service was excellent. More than one person serviced our table. This made everything go smoothly without any waiting on food. We went on a Tuesday thinking it would be easy to walk in and get a table without a reservation. We were lucky because we arrived at the beginning of dinner service(5:00pm) but if we'd been 30 minutes later we'd have had to wait. The place FILLED UP by 6:00pm...on a Tuesday . There were six in our party. We had a vast array of items, but I will review the ones that I have pictures of. I did not personally eat one of the duck empanadas, but the others at the table did and they all raved about them. I did enjoy a piece of the warm bread with the various dipping sauces. My husband bakes bread so I can be a bit of a snob about bread, but this bread was wonderful. Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Our disappointment was they were out of cauliflower so we could not enjoy the Kung pao cauliflower. I had the rotisserie chicken with the sweet Thai chili sauce, the Thai green beans and the corn grits. The corn grits are moist and creamy. The Thai green beans are a fresh green bean that is sautéed perfectly. They still have a nice crunch to them. My husband enjoyed the shrimp and grits. He did not have one bad thing to say about them and cleaned his plate. Another friend had the ribs and rotisserie chicken combo and enjoyed them. Our friends who frequent this restaurant shared the almond shrimp. I will be getting that next time.l as I looked on with jealousy. We ended by sharing a giant piece of sweet potato bread pudding. They make it in the house. Do not pass this up, but be aware that it is a shareable dessert. Overall, our meal was fantastic and we look forward to returning
