GROSS. Was craving BBQ and we decided on this place. Been to other Dickey's chains in California and they were great, this one not so much! Meat was COLD. I got the turkey and jalapeño sausage. Here as soon as you come in you're greeted, and in what I felt was a genuine, not canned McGreeting. Staff that prepare your meal will chat with you, and patiently wait until you decide what meats and sides you want. The bbq is decent. I like how they pull it for service. Not all places do this and it has to help things from not drying out. The brisket and pulled pork I prefer over the ribs. The sides aren't the best ever. Sundays are popular because kids eat free. This place is tasty. Restaurant is based out of Texas and taste great. I'm no BBQ expert but I've spent the last 2 years in and out of Texas and there is one thing they do really well.....BBQ. This is the type of place you would generally find there. Kind of a "Subway" or "Quiznos" type style eating/serving. The owner is really nice and he's from Dallas! Was in the mood for ribs, but it was already 7pm on a Sunday night. Found Dickey's here on Yelp. The food was yummy! Ribs weren't very fat at all and the sides were good. I was happy and will be going back. They even have free soft serve if you want dessert and kids eat free on Sunday's. Our group of ten motorcycle riders stopped here for dinner. We weren't sure what to expect as it's a chain restaurant but the place looked like it was pretty popular. We all thought the BBQ had just the right smoke to it, was tender and juicy, and they had a decent sauce choice. They have a good selection of brisket , chicken, sausage and ribs. I can't remember if they had a fish. The sides were good-I wished they had greens on the menu but they have a pretty large selection to choose from including jalapeño beans. Important to the guys- portions were generous. The staff was awesome at accommodating us even though their seating area isn't huge. Seemed to do a good amount of take out business as well. Our group will definitely include it in our rotation and I'll go back on my own. read more

We went here for diner to try it out, and we could not believe we waited so long to go here! We ordered the pulled pork sandwiches with 2 sides each. I had the green beans which were very flavorful, peppery and bacony! My husband had the baked beans which I tried and they were just like homemade. The staff was very upbeat and answered all our questions upon ordering. The pulled pork is perfectly cooked, and you can enjoy it with or without BBQ sauce. I love the beer they have near the register sitting on ice! We skipped the free ice cream this time, but I think that is a great ending to a great meal! read more

Bbq to me is one of those things that has to be cooked slow , on low heat using smoke coming from "take yor pick" various types of wood. I didn't really feel that there. . Apparently don't come here later in the evening. Seems like a hit or miss with this place. I don't believe that the staff properly keeps their food at safe temperatures towards the evening. My girlfriend and I ordered pulled pork and the beef brisket last night, and within four bites in to my pork I was starting to feel horrible stomach pain. We have been having to make unpleasant trips to the bathroom Multiple times within the last 18 hours of eating our dinner from here. Whoever said this is the Subway of BBQ is right on!!! This place was more than disappointing. We went for dinner one night and the food was horrible. The meat was reheated in plastic saran wrap but still came out cold; we could tell it had been sitting there all day. The sides were just ok, more edible than some of the meat they served. Also, we were in shock that our meal was almost $30 for a fast food kind of restaurant. One sort of redeeming factor was that the manager or owner came over to us and asked how our dinner was. We weren't completely honest because it was awkward but we told him that the meat was cold. He did offer to refund our money but as we had already tried most of the food we declined. He did give us what we thought were going to be free meal vouchers and we said we would try them again, maybe earlier in the day when the food is fresher. Well, we read the vouchers and they were free meals with a purchase of a large drink (semi free, I guess). I'm not sure that we will subject ourselves to this place again, so continues the search for a good BBQ restaurant in the Lynnwood area. read more

My family and I were in search of a good BBQ place...look no further Dickey's in Everett nailed it. I had the brisket, potato casserole, jalepeno beans and sweet tea. The brisket meat was tender and really good on its own, adding the BBQ sauce was the icing on the cake. Price was reasonable and included all you can eat soft serve ice cream on a cone. Like a good host the owner waited on every table during the Saturday night dinner rush, wonderful care and very clean. I'd good back but the owner informed that Bellevue opened a few weeks ago and it's closer to home. Hope the service is just as good. read more

I love BBQ and thought I'd give Dickey's a try. I had a pulled pork sandwich and a side of cole slaw. The meat was a bit on the dry side and seemed to lack basic seasoning. Let me start by saying that I LOVE Dickeys BBQ...I mean the Dickeys BBQ in Bellevue because the employees at this location on 128th in Everett are dry, zombie like almost. There is one consideration and that's the owners wife. I spoke with her a few weeks back and she was very pleasant. Today I go in to get food and the employee looks like he could care less about...well anything! I order my food and go to get my sauce and sides..:wait, this location doesn't put out any extra pickles, onions and other toppings (Bellevue does). When I get my sauce I realize it's not warm. I see the the GFI reset is tripped, so I reset it for them. Get my BBQ sauce and go to ask for more pickles and tell the "zombie" your BBQ was cold, I reset you GFI for ya. He looked at me and didn't say a word. I waited and said...your welcome?? He looked at me and then went back to doing what he was doing. My girlfriend works real close to his dickeys but after my past 3 experiences, I'm done with this place and their lame attempt at business! They need to contact Bellevue and J, over there and duplicate what they're doing and how they treat their customer base! A little bit goes along ways, I suggest y'all hire some people that care and wanna be friendly! BBQ was still ok but that's the last time I give this location my hard earned money! Go to Bellevue if you want better customer service. Honestly....I was so disappointed with our meal. From the beginning the rude young gal looked at us nuts for coming in 30 min prior to closing. Right away she told us the items they were out of and they were trying to close early for a work meeting. I was taken back by how blunt she was. I even asked her if they were open or not....she said yes but we're trying to close early....GOT IT! Being our first time at Dickie's no one explained anything or how the menu works. When we ordered our meal she was clearly not happy helping us. Luckily, the manager came out and was surprised by our smaller portion sizes. He offered to throw in 2 sides. I have to admit the ribs were ok, nothing special but it did the job. The potato salad if that's what you want to call it was belong terrible....worst I've EVER had! To be honest the food all tasted very bland. The gal said our biscuits would take a minute....SHE NEVER PUT THEM IN OUR MEAL!
