We had dickeys before back in Illinois. We decided to try this one. We ordered delivery, and the order arrived on time, and nothing was missing. The food, however, was a bit dry and tough. Even the toast was a bit dry. The kielbasa sausage, Mac and cheese, and coleslaw were good. Had to throw away a rib because it was so tough and didn't want to choke. Some of the brisket was way overcooked. Maybe next time we will stop inside to eat and hopefully the food will be a bit better. read more

After traveling the country and tasting many different BBQ stores I would avoid this chain restaurant if possible. The restaurant is clean and has quick and friendly customer service. TVs scatter the walls that display the current sport in season. They have self service ice cream machine and a variety of 3 BBQ sauces ( spicy, original, and sweet) to entice the customers. The serving portion and quality of meat is left to be desired. The expensive meals that lack both taste and size left me disappointed. The side dishes were all bland and mediocre. I tried the baked beans, mashed potato casserole and the fries and was not impressed with any of them. The food is delicious and we eat here whenever a particular special deal is offered us. I always get the brisket and like to pair it with their original sauce. The bread they provide is one star by itself... I have to wonder why they don't serve some bread that's a little less heavy and dry. Their sides are small as the cup bottoms are not at the bottom.... but the food is delicious and affordable when they offer a good deal. I enjoy coming to this restaurant every time I am in Cheyenne. The staff is always friendly and polite, I have never had bad service the several times I have been here. The best part of my experience here was the employee working in the kitchen who was super nice and friendly. He seemed to be a shift leader or maybe a manager. Other than that...it was pretty expensive and the BBQ wasn't great. Very fatty and low quality cuts. My companion and I both got the two meat plate and our bill came to around $40...woah. Every little thing is an uncharge, like 50 cents for a different bread and the drinks aren't included with the meals. For the two meat plate the portions are very small. We got two small ribs each, and a small mound of shredded beef which was supposed to be brisket. They give you free unlimited ice cream, so that's nice I suppose but its not real ice cream. I ordered a few things including sliced brisket for delivery. Everything else was ok. The sliced brisket was not. It looked like they scraped the cutting board into a container and sent it. I use these guys for catering about once every week or so. They get my order ready fast, they are friendly & I know the owner works his tail off. His dad is also a very nice guy I've worked with too. This place has now let me down twice. I came here a year ago around the same time. It's just to cold here to be running my smoker out in the winter so I give it a try last night and I was extremely disappointed. The ribs were absolutely trash. They where not cooked enough you can tell they cook them to minimum pork temp. They were extremely tough on the bone. So I already knew what needed to happen to fix them. I tented them with some apple cider vinegar and threw them in the oven for a hour at 350* it's pretty bad that I had to finish cooking my own dinner that I paid 50$ for a rack of ribs and a kids meal. Really is hit or miss. There's a lot i love about the franchise and this restaurant doesn't do terribly at keeping up with that but it's little things id like to see improvement on. I realize the meat can't be kept piping hit cuz it will dry out. But that's why you keep the bbq sauce hot. Which unfortunately isn't what I've found here. Warm biscuits would be another. All little things. The staff busts ass to get you your order and I've never really had an issue with service. The older gentleman with the beard is a true pleasure to deal with but they're all solid employee stock. The brisket it's pretty consistent but I've had a few dry servings before that they've been willing to exchange out. It's brisket. It's to be expected that every so often you get one like that. Apparently wanting BBQ sauce from a BBQ place is just asking way too much. I had my order delivered via Uber Eats. There's was no sauce that was requested and paid extra for. Called the store and he said that I could come get it. If I wanted to come get anything, I wouldn't have PAID to have it delivered. He offered a dessert for my inconvenience if I came in. AGAIN, if I wanted dessert I would have ordered it in the delivery I paid for. I wanted what I ordered, the way I ordered it. That's the bare minimum. All the sides came out to be super tiny, except for the large fluffy slice of bread, I ate, the whole portion put together turned out to be small, tasted good but more like a an appetizer for the price of a good meal. I wouldn't go back here on a bet. The BBQ is ok, but no better than ok. We ordered pulled pork for a party a day in advance, but when I showed up they knew nothing about it. They were grumpy about having to deal with it, and charged me $14/lb for it. I paid for 5 lbs., and when I got home I weighed it on a culinary scale. It came out to be just a hair over 4 lbs. Wow, never go here on a Sunday. Place is packed with screaming kids eating for free and service is slow. We really wanted BBQ and liked this place in other towns but I don't think we'll be coming back any time. We were charged for sandwiches we ordered but when we got our meal they had given us plain pork sandwiches, so we were overcharged. By the time my husband's side of okra arrived we had already finished our meal. Great barbecue! The ribs were smoked to perfection. No fall of the bone, overcooked ribs here. It's a bit pricey but worth it.

Not worth the price. Brisket sandwich had alot of fat in it. Service is really slow. You waste at least half your lunch break waiting in line. Maybe more help would be the solution. Other customers were complaining in line also. read more
