The wait in line was about 45 minutes. I think because it was right before a Broncos game, and people in front of us has large orders. When it was our turn to order, the food was made quickly and the employees were super nice. The line cleared out after we got our food. The Fancy Pork Sandwich was SO GOOD!!! My husband got the beef and cheese sandwich and said it was good. We also got 2 of the shareable sides (loaded baked potato casserole -- which is loaded baked potatoes, and we got mac and cheese) Oh my gosh was the mac and cheese good!! It tasted like Velveeta on steroids.. wow!! Although we waited a long time in line (which I'm positive it was because of the game and large orders) we will definitely eat here again. With 2 sandwiches, 2 shareable sides and 2 drinks, we spent $28. We'll be back for sure! read more

At first we were disappointed with the lack of ice cream and fried food but with a little online research we learned all Dickies are headed this way, corporate decision. The employees are always pleasant and even patient as we try to find new favs on the new menu. We love having something close to our home and eat here at least once a month sometimes several times. *Love my sweet tea (I am from the south) and have not been disappointed like other reviews. I really love their food here. I've been to this location twice. Brisket was out of this world. The sides are really fresh: baked beans, slaw, potato casserole... and their sweet, original, and spicy bbq sauces are excellent. There are plenty of options to choose from. read more

Yumm! I had Beefy Mac and once you add a little BBQ sauce, it is quite tasty all mixed together. The sweetness of the BBQ balances with the saltiness of the mac n cheese. I had a side of Baked Potato Casserole (exactly what it sounds like; it is like a loaded baked potato all mushed up). I took off a point b/c hubbie was craving ribs and they only sell them as a 1/2 rack (too much for 1 person) or a whole rack (WAY too much) so he was very bummed that he couldn't try them. I've had three people, including myself, walk out due to the lack of service. Didn't even greet me or say they will be with me soon. Everyone's face was as if this was their first day. Complete joke...I think monkeys could've gotten out the orders faster. Will never be back. Let's just say Little Caesars, two doors down, came through. read more

We usually go to the one in Thornton or Greeley but saw this one was opening up and thought yay a closer Dickeys! Boy were we dissapointed. No Dickeys sweet tea its now the coke brand of sweet tea and its no where near as good as the Dickeys sweet tea. Then they no longer have waffle fries or fried okra!!! As if that wasn't annoying enough they also no longer offer free soft serve ice cream something our little ones loved about Dickeys. We were told ALL Dickeys will soon have no fried food, ice cream, or Dickeys brand sweet tea. We went to the Thornton one instead but once they all switch to be like this one we will go somewhere else... Not impressed read more

This is the second time I've been let down by this store. Called ahead and ordered, but had to cut in front of other people to be noticed by the kid working the register. Was told that they were out of lids for the sides, which made for a mess when I got home. And just like last time they forgot a part of my order. Last year this place was great and now I don't know if the ownership has changed or just the management, but it will need to change before I come back. read more

GOTHAM CITY- The place was clean, however the food was a little pricey for fast food. The food was tasty, I have mixed feelings about the dining atmosphere, it seemed somewhere in between take out and a sit down restaurant. Ordering food seemed disorganized and the menu was hard to read. Because of the lighting, it was a confusing process. The chairs were uncomfortable to sit on with no padding, kind of like eating your meal on park bench in the some dark woods. The lighting in here is poor and dim! Is that to hide the food? I am so disappointed in this restaurant. First of all I walked in and was not greeted which was odd but I was okay with it. I couldn't read the menu so I asked if there was a special and a girl doing sides said " can't you read?!" are you kidding me?! The staff was very rude, the girl making the side tucked her hair behind her ear slicked it back and then got my green beans (I didn't eat them) my meat wasn't smoked NEARLY long enough. The manager or whoever she was, was EXTREMELY rude do the employees. One of the girls was smoking a cigarette right out front. I had to clean off my own table to sit and eat. It was a mess but I put a BOAT LOAD of BBQ sauce on the meat and it was sub par. I won't be returning and I will make sure to let my friends and family know about my experience read more

I love Dickey's. I could honestly eat their food every day, except for this location. Nothing wrong with the food but the employees are terrible. My uncle ordered 3 meals online and I went to pick it up. I walk in right on time and see three employees standing in a group behind the counter just talking. I walk up to the counter and stand under the "online pickup" sign. The two girls look at me and start putting gloves on while the guy just stands there looking lost. I tell them I have an online order I'm picking up and they just nod. They girls walk up to the counter and start making my food. It took two people 20 minutes to make 2 sandwiches, one frito pie, and scoop 3 sides. Halfway through the younger girl tells me they have free ice cream cones if I want one. How am I supposed to eat an ice cream cone and drive back home? When I got back home I realize they made 2 pulled pork sandwiches instead of one and we are short a potato salad... read more

As a guy who grew up in Kansas City, I am somewhat a "connoisseur" of the "Q" and I was anxious to try Dickey's out. I can give it an "OK" but not much else. BBQ requires SMOKING the meat with either Hickory or Apple Wood or Cherry or mesquite for HOURS and HOURS on end. Somewhere, between my family showing up and the meat being "smoked" I think they forgot to leave it in the smoker for more than a couple of hours. I ordered the brisket (my personal favorite) and the pulled pork along with Mac and Cheese and Beans. My Wife ordered the chicken breast (her personal favorite) with the same sides. I don't know, but I suspect that our expectations were a tad too "high". The BBQ sauces were bland. The meat was not "smoked" for more than a couple of hours and the sides were "less than optimal". On a brighter note - the staff was extremely pleasant and the wait was minimal. - Granted, my expectations might have been too high but there you go. Would I go back? Sure! However, when all you have to compare it to is "Famous Dave"s" I'll keep ordering online from KC Joe's. Much MUCH better and it's delivered right to your door. We visited a few months ago. We were super excited to get a BBQ joint so close to home, even if it was a chain. First off, to me it's weird if I can't smell "smoke" when walking into a smokehouse or BBQ restaurant. The restaurant was clean and neat. When we walked in there were 4-5 folks behind the counter and only 1 other customer. We were greeted and ordered our food. The few people we interacted with behind the counter we're fairly rude, almost like we were an inconvenience. I ordered brisket - sliced - and was told that they will "try" to slice it for me but it will basically come out chopped up instead. I have smoked many brisket and have eaten at many other BBQ restaurants and have never been told they can't slice brisket. This made me feel like I was getting old brisket that was leftover and chopped. The food was "ok" but I struggled to taste any smoke on the meats. I needed BBQ sauce to semi enjoy my food and, in my opinion, if smoked meat needs BBQ sauce then you're doing it wrong. Maybe this place has improved in quality and service since we have been in but we would be hard pressed to ever go back. read more
