Who taught you guys how to make Okra? It was so gross and smelt so gross. We even tried deep frying them. Trash!

I came very early, around 11 AM, and it was empty. I was probably the first customer of the day. I'm vegetarian, so I ordered the baked potato and a Cesar salad. Honestly, my baked potato was cold, and the butter wasn't melting how is supposed to. The cheese wasn't melting either. Anyways, at the end of the day it's just a baked potato and I was so hungry so I ate it. The Caesar salad was in a cup, and it was kind of hard to mix it. I can't speak for the other options, but I like the place. The ambience and the decoration is cute. I'm sure their sandwiches and their BBQ stuff taste good. I think you should try it out

Food was great. Really tender brisket. The piece of plastic in my food was not a great touch tho

Pulled pork "sandwich". Peep the "Texas Toast" in the background that they offer online but in reality is a slice of toast

I ordered this meal via PostMates - not sure if that makes a difference in food quality or not. But man did it suck. The Baked beans were undercooked, Pulled pork sandwich was more like a slider, the ribs had hardly any meat on the bones. The "Texas toast" was literally a slice of bread that was toasted. Huge disappointment. The Mac and cheese even sucked. Don't get persuaded by the pictures they post online - not worth a single dime there.

Very overpriced, mediocre food, tiny portions. I expect to spend that much at a higher end BBQ restaurant that serves great food.

Always solid BBQ and always a solid last minute meal for the family! Some of the best brisket around. Love it!

Ordered onion rings for an appetizer. Reading the menu I couldn't find brisket anywhere. Not on the nachos, one two or three meat plates, or sandwiches. All I ever get is brisket and sausage. Finally found the brisket. It's in small print under each item for an upcharge of anywhere between $5 and $10. For example the sandwich is $19. They are happy to sell you the cheaper meats at a premium but if you want brisket you have to pay even more. If we wouldn't have already ordered onion rings we would have left. Son ordered a burger and I ordered fries. Ate almost all onion rings and one was raw and still had powder on the inside. Fries were good, son's burger was good, but we can get burgers anywhere. I did bring the onion ring issue to the waitresses attention just so she could let the kitchen know. When she brought the bill, they had taken the onion rings off. I did not ask them to do that, but they did it anyway.

My usual strategy: fly in early, stop here, order the big meat platter, eat about half of it, go lift, and then finish the rest on the drive to site. Balanced lifestyle, right? Last visit I had turkey, brisket, sausage, and ribs, and every one of them brought something to the table. Great smoke, great flavor, and plenty of sauce options if that's your thing. The staff were friendly, the atmosphere was easygoing, and it had that comfortable, family-run barbecue feel that you hope for when you walk into a place like this. If I'm anywhere near the area again, this will definitely be one of my stops. Hard to beat good barbecue that fits perfectly into the travel-and-gym routine.

Good value for the price!…read more Located just INSIDE Walmart entryway. They haves plenty of tables for dining or take it to go! Food: - Philly Cheesesteak (large for $12.99). Those who are not familiar, serving a Cheesesteak "open faced" is the way to go! (Photo attached). Pros: The sandwich was loaded, delicious and met my expectations of a hearty "Philly Cheesesteak". Cons: Adding sliced tomatoes is okay, but I prefer more grilled onions. Sorry--taking away 1/2 star. Still, RECOMMENDED! - Pepperoni Cheesesteak (medium for $9.99). My Wife loved the pepperoni instead of steak, but again, hoped for more grilled onions. (Photo attached) Another 1/2 star deduction. Still, RECOMMENDED! Side: - Large Fries ($3.79). The fries are thicker cut (similar to Wendy's) and have a nice crisp with smooth interior. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Service: The ladies were courteous, polite, and prompt. Great job! Ambiance: Charley's appears that it took over an old "in-store bank" space, but the owner did a great job of decorating to make the space inviting and clean! Overall: I paid about $27 (photo attached) for our meal. I would challenge Jimmy John's, Jersey Mikes, Subway, or the others to meet Charleys prices for the same content and quality!
