Revisited this Longmont restaurant twice in the last few months. Our first time there everything was wonderful. But this last time it was close to terrible. The tables around us we're all being served seems like they forgot our order. When it finally arrived steaks were not cooked per our order. We sent them back it took a long time to come back. One of the best things that I like about Texas roadhouse is you always know what you're going to get? We thoroughly enjoy the fresh hot rolls that come as you get seated with the yummy cinnamon butter... Holy cat those are good... You can also pick out whatever steak that you'd like they have a whole bunch of different cuts of steaks available and if you go over and talk to the window, you can pick whatever steak you'd like.. or if you are not a steak aficionado... they also have a lot of options. One of our favorite steaks is the bone in ribeye... The other steak we really like is the Dallas fillet... So yummy and you of course get filled up with picking out two sides... Lots of options there too. Last night the steaks were the absolute perfect temperature with a nice char on the outside which gives it really good flavor... We enjoyed the Dallas fillet last night. Darby was our server last night and she was really good... She checked on us frequently... And the manager also checked on us to make sure everything was good too... We chose to go kind of early because we know that this is a popular place on a Friday night, but they have really cool call ahead seating so that you get priority... The other thing that's really nice is that there's a massively big parking lot... We like this in particular because we have a big vehicle and we like to park ways away so it's nice to have a lot of parking available... You guys, our server Missela was so great I had to leave a review. We came up to Longmont to grab a bite with my mother-in-law for her birthday. She loves the roadhouse, so we stopped in and ended up in Missela's section. What good vibes this human has! Just the best energy. She was super attentive, fun, and made the whole experience awesome. We come to this location quite often and generally have efficient, friendly, accommodating, attentive and quality service. We have experienced this consistently from all servers, hosts and management. I'm sad and disappointed that this was not the case on our most recent visit. We were checked in and seated at 3:35. The establishment was not busy however there were a few tables. We were seated in the bar area and our order was taken in a timely manner. My partner and I both ordered a side of chili which in our experiences comes out right away, definitely before the meal. By 4:25 we were still waiting A second drink was ordered at 4:05, and still waiting by 4:30. I had to ask for our chili. Thankfully, the server did bring our children's meal out so my 4 year old could eat. During this waiting period, we did not see our server except for when she spent 10 minutes speaking to the finished table behind us! When our steaks arrived, at 4:40, they were very rare (we ordered med rare). By this time, we were so annoyed and appalled that we didn't want to wait for them to be sent back because who knows how long that was going to take! And, generally speaking, they would then come back over done . We asked the server to take our meals off the check and bring us one for what we did receive (2 drinks, 2 cups of chili and a child's meal). A manager did come by and we explained our reasoning for wanting to leave. Keep in mind we had a 4 year old with us. The manager was kind enough to accommodate our request and took our two entrees off the bill. However, we were disappointed that they didn't at least comp something, like the kids meal, which was a hot dog w/o a bun and corn, or even comping the drinks. I feel that most quality, corporate, large restaurants would have made more of an effort for loyal customers. We were very disappointed which unfortunately may taint our decision in choosing Texas Roadhouse next time we go out to eat. We eat here often and we always get the steak kabobs. They are usually very delicious. We ate here two weeks ago, and my steak pieces were way over done, and tasted horrible. My husband had to send his salmon back because it was under done on one end. My son had to send his steak back due to it being under done and he ordered it medium rare. I assume there must be a new cook in the kitchen since we have never been disappointed before. We will give it one more chance before going somewhere else. read more

I came here back in July while pregnant and had an unfortunate moment getting sick outside (thank you, morning sickness). The staff handled it so kindly and didn't make me feel embarrassed at all. They even brought me water and checked on me. The service inside that day was also great, aside from that little incident. Gross.. What?!? I know I haven't been to a TR in a few years but I remember the food being at least serviceable. I thought it would be fun to go to a TR for my birthday dinner with the family and we pulled up in a parking lot four rows deep with a window service area that was designated to get on the waitlist...a Texas Roadhouse waitlist. My wife had put us on the list early so we walked right in but the atmosphere, food, service, and noise level were all problematic. I figure, to a certain extent, TR is like TGI Fridays, that is, it's intended to be obnoxious. I just don't remember the food tasting this bad. Again, what is with the crowd crush?? it's a Texas roadhouse. Food: -Vegetables were criminally undercooked. it was just raw vegetables in warm water with seasoning -My Steak Medallion's were just uninspired hunks of flesh that looked like they had been sitting in the sun for an hour before it got to me. -My Green Beans looked (and tasted) like they came straight outta the can. throw them in the microwave to warm up...a little. -The kids didn't touch their mac and cheese (how do you screw that up?) -My wife said her ribeye tasted like something they squeezed out of a tube (a la Red Lobster) There is no chance of me returning to TR. If I want garbage bar food, I have a dive bar near my house and I defs don't have to wait in a line that goes around the block. read more

We had a great meal here last night. The green beans were terrible (floating in what tasted like chlorine water??), but everything else was delicious. The ribeye was cooked perfectly, the rolls, loaded mashed potatoes and ribs were really good. The highlight of our meal though was our friendly waitress Johannah. She was so friendly and happy, made great recommendations, and refilled our drinks and bread right on time. Been coming here for years. My wife likes it so much that I got burned out for a while. Well, that's over. Here's a typical meal I might have: Things kick off with delicious rolls and honey-butter spread. Next will come a house salad with thousand island dressing. (Non-Texans, the bits of boiled egg on top are something this Texan has never seen anywhere else. Not a "Texas thing".) Finally, a big chicken-fried sirloin with a side of mashed potatoes. I recommend the cream gravy over the brown gravy. Very tasty. Very filling. I'd probably be at five stars if I hadn't seen a few areas of decline. There used to be a nice waiting room with all the unshelled peanuts you wanted. Now, you're told to wait "outside or in your car", but what most people did was just wait in the little area, no more than 10' x 10', where you first come in. Not saving any lives with the new arrangement, but the wait is a lot less comfortable. There were a couple of other nitpicky things, but I'll leave it there. My 6 oz. sirloin was delicious. My steak fries were hot but I'm not a big fan of huge fries. My side salad was meh. I should have picked something else. The buns seemed stale on the bottom and we didn't get enough "butter" for them. Our server(s) were good but it took a long time to get our food. They didn't have red pepper flakes. But why?!? Texas Roadhouse across the board is one of our favorite restaurants but Longmont Roadhouse just can't pull it together, they don't hold a candle to many other locations. I keep going (convenient location) but I really need to stop spending my money here. If you want a much better experience, go to the Brighton location. It's worth the drive. Service is consistently below average, food is average, bread is always burnt, the portion sizes on the *exact same meal* vary per location, bathrooms are dirty (chunky broccoli vomit on the wall this time), and the customer service is isn't helpful at all. If you love Roadhouse skip this location so you don't ruin your view of the company. read more

Our very first time there & we went there because we got special appetizer coupon from some very special friends so Baked potato skins delicious lots of cheese & Bacon bits served with side of sour cream.. Loved this restaurant. The Longmont location is very busy, the wait can be up to 45 min on a weekend night. However the food is truly excellent. I loved my ribeye and shrimp combo meal, and they served the best steak I've ever had. Fun social atmosphere. It is a bit loud for my taste but it's a special treat to be experienced at least once! read more

First of all, the music is so loud you can't hear anything the other people at your table are saying. The waitress even commented on how loud it was when she was trying to take our order, which she ended up getting 1 out of 6 wrong. Not blaming her though, they really need to turn down the volume of the music!! The food was ok at best. Two of us ordered the 8oz NY strip. Both steaks were over cooked, dry & flavorless. One steak looked like 5 or maybe 6oz, not 8, and was on the burnt side. Too much bbq sauce on the chicken. The Ribs & burger were good. We did call ahead for reservations at 8:35- states approximate seat time 9:05- Arrived one table ahead of ours- they consistently closed sections, we're shaking rugs near the rolls (so gross), saying they were sorry but they close at 9:30 (again it's before 9 at this point) so we had to wait to see if a section stayed open to seat our party of 6- again I was on call ahead and waited until 9:15 and walked out- a 6 top which would have billed our over $100 and your Longmont crew was more worried about their closing duties (while still opened) then they did about taking care of the 3 Parties they still has waiting- really disappointed!!! read more

Forget take out orders here. I called 4 times and nobody would pick up the phone I ask for a manager the last time I called and they did not pick up. I tried to place the order online and kept getting an error message. Went to Texas Roadhouse for lunch on Sunday October 8th. My Waite person , Tyler was so helpful and made my whole meal come together in and organized fashion. It started out with a great salad followed by tater skins. My main course was 16 oz prime rib medium rare and a bake potato with butter and sour cream. I can't leave out the great tasting rolls. I've visited this brand probably a hundred times over the years and had decided that it's just not necessary. Because of previous experiences decided we would not come back and had not been to one since 8 years. So with that said my wife and I are doing a diet and just wanted a good meal with meat (protein), veggies and a starch and not many options in that location so we decided. We were both very surprised and impressed with the service and the meal. Our server was seriously good at her job and paid close attention to detail of what we were doing knowing it was a healthy meal request. The meals were excellent and service from our waitress fantastic. This locations staff was friendly professional and seemed to enjoy working there. They had tons of people on staff and everyone was working together. Totally an awesome turnaround. One lesson I've learn it about the local management. Texas road house is now one of the only Steak Houses left in my area. Their food is consistent, tasty but just as you'd expect it to be from a Texas Road House chain. My one major complaint with the Longmont location is base on some of their staff members. To give some background. I had called on a Saturday evening to get on the waiting list. The Hostess quoted 45-1 hour wait. Once I arrived with Mom, Dad, Husband and 3 kids in tow. We were packed like sardines into the breeze room with several others. We waited about 50+ minutes and touched base on the status of our table. We were told our table would be ready in 10 minutes, they were just waiting for one table to be cleared. Within that time frame it was very clear that the 2 young hostess' had a group of 6 reprehensible teen boys come in and put their name on the list at that moment, only to get seated before us and many others. I asked the host what had happened, as she nervously sputtered that the 6 teen boys had a smaller party than my party of 7. Surly that was the only reason they were seated before us. Thankfully 20 minutes later our table was readily available, only to get seated directly next to said teens that just so happen to be in the same size booth. When I brought this up to the manager (which I hate doing) she responded as a concerned manager would, but did not seem to objectively confront the hostess/issue or follow up. I first want to say I LOVE TEXAS ROADHOUSE, me and my family have gone to TR for multiple occasions, and never had any complaints. So I decided to go to Texas roadhouse for my 21st birthday. We got there pretty late maybe an hour and 30 minutes until closing. Me and my boyfriend knew that we didn't wanna be there too long just because they are getting close to closing. So we just ordered our main entrées no appetizers. we told her raider it was my birthday. He asked if I wanted a brownie ice cream, I said I wanted the brownie. I had a steak and he had a country fried chicken steak. My steak tasted like lighter fluid and completely burnt. Looking at the steak it did not look burnt, but it tasted like it. I asked for medium rare cut into it. It had a perfect pinkish, slightly red color, but the more I cut into the state the more more I noticed that it was more raw and rubbery texture. We try to call our waiter over for literally 20 minutes. He saw my boyfriend trying to get his attention multiple times it did not come to us, until we literally had to yell for him when he came close to us. We heard other people being sung "happy birthday", but I did not get sang happy birthday. After we told him what was going on, he asked if we want it remade, I said " I really don't want another steak if it's going to be potentially like this one". To which the manager came over she was very kind and respectful and took the steak off. Winding down after the manager took it off the check he sat ice cream down on the table before I could stop them. He was already in the back. The ice cream started to melt when he finally came out and I had to tell him I actually asked for the brownie. I started to feel bad, because, I didn't want them to think I was trying to get a free meal. He told us to just keep both of it and he didn't return for the rest of the night. This is my first ever extremely disappointing meal I've ever had a Texas roadhouse. Not only was my birthday, not celebrated at the place that I treasure most, but it seemed like I wasn't even welcome there from the waiter ignoring us to staff thinking we were trying to get free food. Their meat has no flaps. It triggered me in multiple ways, my taste was hardly satisfied and my stomach was not full. I had ordered the steak and potatoes. The steak was like a mush and the potato was like a rock. It was not salted whatsoever and my son Jeremiah had diarrhea and had gotten food poisoning. I'm a mother of 17 wonderful children, and I can't believe one of my kids had to go through this tragedy. I like to order the same thing at TX Roadhouse, the 6 oz tenderloin. I don't eat much beef but when I do, I want the good stuff. The previous visit, they had murdered my steak to well done when I order it medium. Our server was Kaden and very attentive.
