Happy this place is around now! I was just introduced to Diced last weekend, and have had it twice in one week. Gotta love their delivery option too!!! The tuna is tuna salad.. I wish they'd make that more clear. I ordered delivery and picked tuna expecting cubes of red.. but ended up with chunks of mayo canned tuna. I ate it anyway, and hopefully I won't make that mistake again. I've had the steak also, and it was delish. Up the ante by adding avocado and it's a very nicely portioned add-on!! Running last minute to make it before they closed..yeah I was one of this people, but despite the late arrival the whole staff was very nice and welcoming. Since it was my first time there, I needed a little guidance, which was nicely given. I ordered and half rice half spinach bowl, with steak. They loaded it up nicely and everything was really fresh. I've been to this location plenty of times since it is close to my job, but it is always to pick up online orders that have been placed before getting there. My orders are usually ready when I get there so that is always a plus. The only thing that I do not like is the fact that the parking there is so small, so when I usually go during lunch hour, there is obviously more traffic and a little bit of a hassle to get my car inside the area, but I wouldn't necessarily blame that on the restaurant. Overall, the food is delicious and the sauces they put on top is the best thing about my bowls. Let's begin by saying I ordered via Uber Eats and did not go to the restaurant, maybe experience would have been different at the restaurant. I ordered the build your own bowl. I had the steak with all the toppings, the house sauce and the garlic cilantro dressing. Quinoa instead of rice. The bowl alone is 10+ dollars, with an additional charge to add meat to your bowl. I added onions and peppers to my bowl along with the rest of toppings. I wasn't aware they weren't cooked so I wasn't pleased with the flavor. I also didn't know they added raw coleslaw to the meal and I wasn't particularly too happy about that. The presentation was great, it looked fancy and they had the plastic utensils wrapped. The steak was real palomilla steak with minimal flavor. It wasn't a bad experience, their house sauce tastes good but for ME the final price wasn't worth it. It was 15+ for the bowl. This place is really cute and in a nice neighborhood. They have outside seating. The tables are a little small but cozy. Food was very colorful but I wish it had more flavor. I got the cilantro garlic sauce and had to use three servings and the flavor still felt a little lacking but the veggies are really fresh and delicious regardless. I'm a little obsessed with spice so maybe I'm a little biased. A friend did suggest that I try the spicy guava sauce and I plan on trying it the next time. Their smoothies are delicious. You have the option to either get it with coconut water or just plain water. I tried the coconut water. I've never had a smoothie with coconut water as the base but it has an interesting flavor. I think that's cool how the water bottle labeled "Diced" is free to all customers. I ordered the chicken wrap with pinto beans and all veggies (had all this on a spinach tortilla). It was delicious, fresh, and healthy. I really enjoyed it. I almost got the tuna wrap but they mix the tuna all up with thick mayo and I'm not really a fan of mayo. Overall great experience. I went when the restaurant was a bit slow so I noticed a bunch of the male staff members just lounging around in their cell phones at the counter. Some had one hand on their head and one hand holding their cell phone (possibly on social media). There's always something to do so try and stay productive when customers are present. After you pick a wrap, a bowl, or a salad, you choose a type of rice (or quinoa), beans, chicken or tuna, and then some extra veggies (and cheese if you want). And then, to finish off your creation, you add one sauce to top it all. I have never ordered a salad, so this applies to the wraps and bowls. Now, the whole assembly process takes a few minutes. Even if the business is listed under fast food, it is not that fast. I mean, everything is ready to put on your wrap or bowl, but the chicken needs to be cooked. I don't know about the tuna. Nonetheless, you will wait a bit. Taste-wise, it is pretty good. The food is less seasoned than what you may expect at the other restaurants nearby, but the ingredients are good enough to have their own flavor. It is not at assault on your tongue, it is more of a soothing of the palate. I like it. It gives variety. I'm a bit late on trying out this spot but it was definitely worth the wait! I ordered to-go and my food was ready in less than 10 minutes. The chicken bowl was delicious and I added brown rice, chickpeas, and ALL the veggies.. To top it off I added the Tomato basil sauce and the Garlic Pesto Cilantro and they are what really made the dish. They currently offer extra sauces for free so that was a plus being able to order more on the side. They even sell the sauces apart in jars and I'm so tempted to go back and purchase them on their own to have at home- they were THAT good! I ordered delivery due to the corona virus. I paid a total of $16 (including tip for the restaurant and driver) for my food, mind you I'm currently unemployed once again due to the virus. I just really wanted to indulge myself with my food today. I asked for avocado and paid extra for it, they didn't include it although I did get charged for it. I wrote a note and asked for 3 extra sauces on the side (it's even written on the receipt that they stapled to my bag) but that also wasn't included. Now I'm annoyed because the bowl tastes too dry without the extra sauces. The bowl is still full, I'm probably gonna leave it in the refrigerator until it expires. What a waste of money. At this location near Ludlum Rd, there's free parking nearby. Customer service was good, they did welcome me in when I walked inside. There was a lot of employees working inside & a few were looking at their phones. Anyways, I ordered a bowl w/ steak & all other delicious stuff & I didn't know what sauce to get & the girl helping me recommend a combo sauce that's mixed with Avo, cilantro, chipotle (What I believe it was) & it was delicious, the guy gave me extra sauce which was nice of him doing that. It didn't take long to make & one of the guys yelled out my name when I'm right there lol letting me know my order is ready. I saw most people doing pick ups then eating inside as it does not look spacious but still available seats if you want to eat inside. Overall I liked the food & the sauces, it's pricey which I believe they use fresh food & I like that they use less plastic (saving the environment).
