I have had to fill air in my driver's side rear tire twice. The first time, I thought it might have been because it was Winter, but the second time 2 months later, I knew it was time to get it checked. Dropped by Diamond Tire & Wheel on a Wednesday morning at around 9:15am. There was a car in the driveway with tire work being done. I let the person doing the work know I had a slow leak and he said he would look at it next. After a 10 min wait, he finished the car ahead of me and had me pull the car into the driveway. A few mins later, he had the tire off, showed me the nail in the tire, and about 10 mins later, he was putting it back on. Paid the small fee to patch up the hole and I was on my way. Great job! Something to know, there isn't a lot of parking. Pretty much one spot in front of the shop and street parking. I got a spot on the street when I first arrived. When I moved it to have the work done, two other people parked in the spot and waited a few mins and then moved on. Impatient, if they waited just 10 mins they would have been next! read more

Originally the car was towed there because a family friend recommended they look at it to see what's wrong. It was towed there Thursday and they called later in the day with a diagnosis. It was deemed not worth it for me to fix as the repair was $2600. I said to the main mechanic that I might try to sell it to Carmax, and he said they would most likely barely give me anything for it. I believed him and so I took his offer to buy it off me of $800. It turns out what he said about Carmax was in fact not true, they were willing to give me $2000 for it. So this mechanic intentionally gave me false information so I would let him buy the car instead of Carmax. Upon realizing this I called back the same day I had given him the title and said I would like my title back, and I will come bring the $800 back, because I realized I should have gotten more for the car. He refused and said it's too late because he already ordered a part for the car even though it had only been an hour since I had given him the title. I offered to pay for the part he ordered too and he still refused. read more

I'm only writing this review because I'm moving out of state and, after two vehicles and nearly a decade of great service, the least I can do is make sure everyone who reads this knows that Diamond Tire and Wheels provides stellar vehicle maintenance and repair services for fair prices. Louis is a great man inside the garage and out. Know that he and his, and his employees', honesty and expertise will take good care of you, just as they did for me. read more

Have used these guys for years. They are very honest and have always done good work. Thank you.

Fast, friendly service. I definitely recommend. I went yesterday to get my tire checked out and they were able to help me out quickly. They were really nice and answered any questions I had. read more

Came to Diamond Tires for a cheap used tire after getting a flat on the freeway. When I got there the tow truck left me in the front and no one was approaching me to ask how can I help you or greeting me... An employee with a beard saw me and didn't tell me "be right with you" or ask what I needed. After seeing me stand there for a whole 10min. I was just trying to make eye contact so I can ask prices and where to park. Not even on some annoying impatient behavior, just respectfully waiting. When I went around the other side of their shop to ask another employee who was just sitting in a customers car with the AC on .... He said someone should be in the front and when I told him no one was there he said he'll go tell them. Again,I was asking respectfully and patiently. But when I walked back to the other side the 1st bearded employee told his co worker in a LOUD VOICE "IF HES IN A HURRY TELL HIM HE CAN F*CK OFF." Knowing that I can't go anywhere with the flat and trying to use that to his power and talk however he wants disrespectfully knowing the customer HAS TO wait and if they get mad at him for speaking like that... the customer OBVIOUSLY CANT JUST DRIVE SOMEWHERE ELSE.... DISGUSTING BEHAVIOR! I stood staring at him down obviously upset bc I can't respond anything back to the RUDE remark or I'd have to find somewhere else to be towed if he refused service. Once he came to me he said "are you in a hurry?" And after I responded "No Hurry just need a flat fixed" ... he got to work. After starting the tire the bearded employee went on the phone and took his sweet time knowing I had to wait. He saw I wasn't being annoying and finished and rang me up normally and calmly. And not a bad price. CHEAP TIRES IF BEING HONEST BUT DONT EVER TALK TO CUSTOMERS LIKE THAT, HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! *BEARDED DUDE WHO WORKS IN THE BACK AS SOON AS YOU WALK IN* read more

I needed to repair my tire immediately after work and even though I came near closing time, they were able to accommodate me and even went the extra mile to get the work done. The nail was close to the edge and instead of trying to sell me on a tire like a prev shop I went to, he was able to patch it. read more

Love Diamond Tire & Wheels! My tire blew out on the way home from work, and even though Diamond was about to close, the owner stayed late to help me get back safely on the road with a full set of new tires after we realized all of my tires needed replacing. My tire went flat on the freeway, pulled over looked at my tires, immediately went on Google to see if any tire places are around here so I can replace my tire. Found Diamond tire and the guys in there were the MOST helpful, gave me the best price on some tires. Replace my two back tires and replacing my front two in 2 weeks! Thank you for saving and getting me to work on time! Muchly appreciate these wonderful men. read more

Very accommodating, very friendly and honest service. Affordable price for great service!

Sometimes the prices change. The first time i went in the used tire was 30 the second time it was 40 and they insisted on cash claiming the credit card machine was broken. I went in the other day to get a tire fixed. The tech charged me 20 but insisted on cash and had me go to an ATM. They do good work though just those couple of issues. read more

I went here looking for some used tires this morning. This place is a little gem. I went here because of the good reviews on yelp. I was quoted $25/tire for a used set or $30/tire for a slightly better used set. He took me into his shop and showed me what he had available and let me pick out which ones I wanted. I opted for the $30/tire. I told him that I wanted 4 tires and he asked me to wait for a minute while he took my tires off. He asked me to come back into the shop again and he showed me the wear on my tires. He told me that only 3 needed to be replaced and he showed me the steel belts sticking out (high-five for me), but the rear right one was okay for another 10,000 miles. I also asked him if he could go ahead and change my oil while he was at it and he did. It was $40 for that which did seem a bit expensive, but he showed me that he only uses synthetic oil and good filters. I don't really know what the difference was, but he was an honest dude, so I took his word for it. Overall, it took about 45 minutes and $130. Another lady pulled up with a newer truck while I was there with some sort of quote from another shop for repairs. She showed him the paperwork and flat out told her she was getting screwed and it was a very minor problem and took care of it. I've been looking for a shop like this for a while and I am glad that I found it. I found them to be very nice and honest. read more

My new favorite tire/lube spot! So my front right tire was really showing signs of wear (metal things were showing). I found these guys on Yelp (and was also referred by a friend coincidently enough) and needless to say, the reviews are right, these guys rock! I went in at 1pm, explained to them the issue, they gave me a price and said come back in an hour (NICE!). Since it was ridiculously hot and I didn't feel like walking far, I noticed a couple little shops across the street that I went to go inspect. I perused a second-hand childrens clothing store (twinkle-twice or something); I picked the brain of the geek working at the tech repair shop (geeksters = I remember the name clearly as it was very unique)-which I will be taking a couple broken devices for them to fix in the upcoming weeks, and after that I had a quick bite to eat of some tasty pupusas at the el salvadorian restaurant (pupasas del valle), and by 2.15p I noticed my car was ready, so I went back paid, and happily left. The store is your typical tire/auto shop, although the parking is somewhat a pain (unless you get VIP driveway parking), the guys working there are very easy to talk with and nice. The prices are the lowest in the area for what they offer, and the fact that they are fast, seals the deal with me! read more

Albaro was quick speedy and polite, sold me a used tire around closing time, even stayed a few minutes after 6 to get the job done. Thanks so much!! read more

I got a huge nail in my tire and showed up right at closing time and Alvaro was so nice he accommodated me anyway, proceeded to fix it instantly and also pointed out that someone else had only plugged a previous nail in the same tire so he offered to replace that with the sturdier patch as well and still only charged me for the one I came in for!! He also asked me to come back the next day to rotate my tires to put the tires with the most tread left in the front of the car. He didn't have to do any of this but he did. Made my day, thank you for going above and beyond even at closing time!!! I will be back if I ever need to purchase a set of tires. read more

This quy is awesome!!! Yes Luis and this place is great! great service, great people, GREAT PRICES... I was in need of a tire, the original place that "Supposedly" Got me a tire charged me $95 and said it wasn't un patchable. The only reason Why I said "supposedly" is cause he said he'd get it for me and the day I drop it off, He hits me up and hour after saying there was a mistake =( so I called around getting quotes $140, $135 $ 180. Are u Cray!!! Dangggg sooo expensive. After Searching the web I come upon Diamond Tires and I have to say It was soooo Worth it. Luis said a new tire w installation would be $40+tax and when I arrived he Looked at my tire and said. I'll patch it! whhhhaaaat Patch it. Sweet! I was in and out within Minutes!! =) Thanks Guys! Ill definitely be back!!! read more

I had a tire blow out driving home from the store and managed to drive the 1/2 mile home, but by the time I got there, the damage had been done. The tire was completely shredded. I spent the whole night worrying about how much it was going to cost me to get a new one. I brought it into these guys and 20 minutes and $20 later they had me set to go with a used tire. He even replaced the stem for me free of charge. Most of the places I've gone to over the years have tried to up-sell me on the best new model and, oh, while you're at it, why not just replace all 4 of them. New tires weren't even mentioned until I asked. The quote was easily $100 less than the Pepboys down the street (even with their buy 3, get one free deal). Definitely recommend this place if you need tires in the Burbank area. read more

Been bringing my car to these guys for years. Their prices are very good but more importantly their work is excellent. They have put in a Transmission, motor mounts, steering wheel, brakes and tires for me over the years. Always great work and done in the time frame they say! Great place, great friendly service. I usually get new tires @ Firestone, but sometimes I need decent used tires to hold me over for a few months. I called Diamond Tires, they said come on down, I selected my tires, and in 40 mins had me in, tires changed, and was also shown where past mechanics had jeopardized my nuts and bolts...ugh. Good place, honest, and I'll use again. read more

Luv Diamond tires! I've been having my tires serviced and replaced here for about 15 years and I never leave with that "what the hell just happened?" feeling I sometimes have after dealing with other auto repair shops. I've met Luis a couple times and he's always very nice & professional, but I always deal with Chico who is awesome. I have to come back soon to get my brakes and struts replaced. Something I already knew because these repairs are way overdue but Chico also advised me of after fixing my flat tire. No pressure. No hard sell. Just a firm and professional yet somehow brotherly recommendation. So I'll definitely be back. But that's a given because as long as I have a car, I'll be coming here for all my tire needs read more

Needed a tire looked at, Chico, who is really friendly, helped me find the problem. I had two nails stuck in my tire.(Thank you LA roads lol ) He patched it up for me, took about 10 minutes, which is awesome because I went on a lunch break. The service is great and the prices even better. It was 20 bucks to patch it up and it drives great so far. :) read more

This place is great! I wanted some used tires for a car that was a project and didn't want to spend a fortune. They have tons of tires to choose from. I got tires for my 1966 VW bug and 2006 Chrysler 300. Chico is amazing! He knows what he is talking about. Fast and courteous. They also do mechanical repairs. I had such a good experience I recommended my friend. He was having transmission troubles with his 1994 ranger. They repaired it fast and the first time! Plus it was a couple hundred bucks cheaper than everyone else!!! I will be going back for all my auto repairs. read more

Great honest place to go. Called in the morning looking for 2 used tires with decent tread for as cheap as possible. Quoted me $60 mounted and balanced out the door. When I got there one of the tires was a Falken Ziex, which was supposed to be a $40 tire but he said since he quoted me $30 a piece he would do it for $30. 15 minutes later I was out the door for exactly what he quoted me, no upselling, no imaginary problems to milk more money out of me. Really pleasant staff to work with. read more

Luis is the only only honest mechanic I have found in my many years in Los Angeles. The first time I brought him my car in 2008, he saved me $2000 dollars by quickly informing me the last guy who quoted me was trying to rip me off. He then proceeded to create a makeshift harness of wire to fix whatever the problem was, at almost no cost altogether. Last year, I was trying to pay him a few hundred to fix my power steering which would have involved taking much of the engine out of my car because of the awkward location of the power steering, but he advised against it, because he spotted major trouble with my head gasket in the process and he knew i would kick myself if i spent a few hundred only to realize that I would probably have to junk the car because the head gasket job would cost more than my old run down car was worth... He actually turned down business that was completely fair for him to perform, just out of looking out for me as a human being overall. He goes above and beyond by keeping it very real with you as to what maintainence you can live without, if you're on a budget... I have finally gotten an amazing newer car that won't need as much tending to, and I am almost going to miss seeing Luis and the guys as often. Today, I dropped by with a 12 pack of Tecate for him as he gave the new car its first oil change under my care. I suggest you do the same on your next visit... People operating with integrity in a business shrouded in mystery for so many of its consumers is a rare and precious gift. I have long since moved from Burbank, but it's completely worth the drive across town to know I'm dealing with better than fair prices and, more importantly, a fair man. read more

My air pressure light was beeping at me and I didn't feel safe driving home on it. They were open late on a Friday evening so I went over there and he helped me right away (even though he was in the middle of someone else's job). Added air, and wouldn't let me pay him anything for it, he just said to come straight back if any other problems occur. So far, it's all perfect. Thanks Diamond for saving me the other night! read more

My tire was flat and they helped me immediately didn't have to wait for more than 20 minutes. Really nice guys and super honest.

All the reviews here are spot on! Luis, patched my run-flat tire for less than $20. I took it to Firestone on Lankershim the day before and they said I had to buy a new one for $240. Even if I needed to get a new tire, I would buy from Luis, cause he would get me a better price, $100 cheaper. These guys are honest!! read more

This is probobly the best mechanic shop ive found in a long time. My regular mechanic moved to long beach and i was in desperate need of finding a new one. I discovered a nail punctured my tire while driving. Luckily, it also prevented air from leaking until I could get to Diamond. I was hesitant to bring my car to The firestone around the corner because of all the negative reviews. I was worried i would be scammed into buying at least 2 new tires. Im sure we've all been given that con. Thanks to yelp, I was lead to Diamond. They were very friendly, professional and fast. They didn't try to sell me new tires like alot of other places. In fact, they said my tires were in good shape. In less than 10 minutes my tire was repaired and all for $15. Thanks! read more

This review is long overdue but I guess better late than never. First, Luis, thank you so much for years of wonderful service! I have been coming here to these guys for about 4 years and they have always been honest and reasonable! As a young woman, I've fell victim to many auto places trying to scam me out of my money because they don't think I'm knowledgable when it comes to my car... Not these guys. They have always been honest, upfront, accommodating and overall awesome! I come here for tires, oil changes, tune ups, alignments, basically anything.... These guys are my go-to!
