Mac's crew installed a new roof on our home 15 years ago (hail). Diamond Select Roofing was competitive, and the work was excellent. I've recommended them for their work many times over the years. UPDATE: We had a big freeze and no power for days in February this year. It was declared a disaster by the state, Feds -- and repeatedly by my neighbors. A few days later, Mac came by to check our roof (and a neighbors) as he was concerned that these homes had been without heat for days and their might be damage to the roof. Mac found visible damage on both roofs. He had his crew repair the neighbor's roof while he repaired mine. Both at no charge! I was always happy with the work done by Diamond Select Roofing but I can't tell you how happy we were to find out Mac remembered us and took care of us 15 years later! Diamond Select roofing did a great job roofing my house after the hail and wind damage that occurred earlier this year.Donna and Mac are great to work with and knowledgeable when it comes to then roofing business and insurance claims. Mac and his crew were on time and not only re-roofed the house but also noticed damage to some of the decking and trim boards after removing the old roofing shingles and without hesitation they replace the damaged decking and trim before putting on the new roof. When they finished they did a great job cleaning up around the house and hauling off the old roofing material. They also took care of scheduling the gutter replacement for me so I didn't have to search and get different bids to have the damaged rain gutters repaired. That also was completed and looked great. I would recommend Diamond Select roofing for all your roofing repairs honest and dependable. They are local and I like supporting our local businesses. I had been looking for a roofer for the past several months to do some roofing work for us and I couldn't get anyone to even return a call. Met Mac the owner of Diamond Select Roofing working in our neighborhood one day and asked him what I should do. He was out the very next day, reviewed the roof, made not only the things I thought needed repaired but showed me the shoddy workmanship of the roof, shingles and around the vents. We needed to have about a square foot of shingles replaced and DS Construction gave an estimate of $160 to repair, which was reasonable. One windstorm later and we're missing more shingles - some in the same area they had repaired less than a month before. Maybe three shingles needed to be replaced, but this time their estimate was $200. When I protested the price as this was essentially the same job and that some of the damage was in the same area previously worked on the company began to ignore me. I informed my realtor who referred them and they didn't bother to return her call. They do not stand by their work and have lousy customer service. read more

He also came over the same day the insurance adjuster came over to make sure the adjuster saw everything. The adjuster wasn't going to give me a new roof until Mac explained everything he found. If I could give any more stars I would! Out of the four roofing companies I interacted with when a tree fell on my house from the storm early June, I couldn't make any solid connection with anyone until my initial conversation with Mac. If you meet him you'll immediately pick up on his passion and commitment to his work and further more, his beliefs in simply being a good neighbor. We are about 98% complete with everything on our list including patching the holes, replacing the roof, tree trimming, replacing the gutters, and lastly our damaged window screens. Honest and Efficient! Was really impressed with Diamond Select when they did a number of roofs in my neighborhood. Their first assessment was that I did NOT need a new roof (shocking I know coming from a roofing contractor!) after the hailstorms in Spring 2015. After some more rains and my insurance company came out to survey the damage it did finally seem that a new roof was plausible. Diamond Select's crew showed up at 7 AM and worked to 8 PM each day hardly without break for 3 days. Our house is new and they did a lot of little things that were better than the original construction (vents, soffits, sealing).
