I recently bought a home in Palm Springs and was in the middle of renovating it. I hired a terrible company to tile my bathroom showers, install all new valves, trim, and vanities. They did everything wrong. I had family coming to visit and was not even able to use the shower in my master bathroom. I called Diamond Remodels and explained my situation. Not only were they able to squeeze me in but they were able to come the next day!! They removed the tile in the shower, installed the correct valves and trim, and placed new tile back on the shower all in one day!!! I could not have been more pleased. I honestly don't know what happened here. Jonathan and Jenn came out to give us a quote for a kitchen and bathroom remodel we wanted. We met with 3 contractors and they were our favorite, we were ready to sign on the dotted line and get going on what was estimated to be $50-60k project. I was told they'd have us the quote in a week. After the week came and went I reached out once and they said they were still waiting on numbers from a couple of their sub-contractors. I have a policy of not chasing down people you will be paying for a service - if they don't treat you well when they're trying to win your business, they won't treat you well once they've won your business. Long story short, I never heard from them again. We went with Lowes for our remodel - it may not be as grand as the plans we had envisioned, but at least the work is being done. read more

I met Jon 4 years ago and he and his team did an impeccable job tiling my entire home, installed new bathroom vanities and renovated my seriously miserable fireplace. The other kind is for exceptional customer service and superior workmanship. Diamond Remodels fall squarely into the latter category. I wanted a stone tile surround for my pool. I got 3 bids and as soon as I met the folks at Diamond, I knew they were the ones to do the job. All interaction with them was completely professional, friendly and utterly knowledgeable about the type of work that needed to be done and the way in which it should be accomplished. Work started 3 days after I hired them. The workmen arrived at exactly the time they said they would and immediately got to work. There was never one moment of any hassle for me. Best of all, the result by far exceeded my expectations. Their workmanship was absolutely precise,clean and seamless. Nice to start out with and got to the property for a quote fairly quickly, but never actually sent me the quote or followed up afterwards. They also have me a preliminary quote that seemed high, but we may have wound up using them if they followed-up, so their loss. I've never had the opportunity to use a contractor prior to my decision to remodel my Master and Guest Bath in my condo. I got bids from four different contractors including Diamond. The decision to choose them was based on their transparency and professionalism. Beginning with the quote. Jen not only asked what I wanted but made suggestions that she thought might work for me. Her ideas were never about an up sale; in fact she paid attention to what I said and had ideas specific to my needs. In some areas she was able to help me save me money. I had heard throughout the years; about construction nightmares and I was nervous. Jonathon (owner) takes tremendous pride in his work and he was here to supervisor or review the process often as the work progressed. I found the rest of his subcontractors to function more as a cohesive team rather than them having an independent "get the work done and be gone" attitude. These guys (ALL OF THEM) were the hardest working; perfectionist, and fun people I've ever spent time with. EVERY single one; knew exactly what to do; how to do it and if one couldn't finish it on one day; one of the other members of the team did it. Jen and Jonathon are amazing at multitasking; and it seems like their subs respect them and want to do quality work for them. I had minor issues during the remodel and none of them were due to the company. They gave a quote; stuck to the time frame, bent over backwards to do stellar work and were kind, funny and professional through the end. I cannot tell you how happy I am that I chose them and highly recommend that you consider this: sometimes you get what you pay for. We purchased a condo in January and we are interested in remodeling-the kitchen, and two bathrooms, in addition to replacing all the flooring and refreshing the paint. I called diamond remodels based on the written reviews on Yelp. I spoke to Jen and scheduled a time for them to meet with us and determine the scope of work. At the schedule day and time they were a no show. I called 4 hours after our scheduled appointment to see what happened and Jen said she didn't have us on her schedule and apologized profusely. She said she could meet with us within the hour if we are available and we were. They took the time to go over the details of what we wanted done and offered nice suggestions on enhancing our idea. Jen told us we would have an estimate a week later and two and a half weeks later we still had not received an estimate or any communication. We anticipate the remodel costing between $60K to $90K, but if we have to chase a contractor down at every turn, we're not dealing with a reliable one. read more
