She sounded young, difficult to understand, but she asked angrily what my problem was... said she called me 2 years ago & that she had resolved this for me. She did not resolve anything for me, & did not make me feel any better, not then, definitely not now. She wanted to pinpoint when exactly I had my Brazilian waxing done. I wasn't going to be interrogated, harassed, or gaslit. I told her that I've been there more than once, & I don't appreciate her calling to argue with me. I am entitled to an honest review of my experience & my feelings concerning it. She sounded argumentative wanting to argue the exact date & what happened, saying she had video proof. I told her that I've been there more than once, & left the room at different times & there is nothing to argue about. She has never cared about my feelings & experience there. The Brazilian waxing covers a delicate area, you need to trust the place you go to, and this Manager woman just makes the whole experience so much worse for me. I should have never given this place my business in the past, should've stayed at a better sugaring place in Oviedo which was honestly so extremely sweet, kind, caring, & patient. I even bought a nicely scented exfoliant from the previous sugaring place. Less painful overall also because that other place in Oviedo, FL was so much more caring and professional, protecting my dignity & privacy. My review that I wrote last night: I got a Brazilian wax here, and was very nervous. The young woman was nice and let me talk nervously as I was being waxed. It hurt at times and she couldn't calm me down or make me feel better like a previous place would. It was sort of a cold environment emotionally. I quickly went to the ladies room, and saw a front desk person with her neck pressed up against the wall right where I had been laying listening to my room. I was shocked when I saw her and felt like my privacy had completely been violated. That was completely unfair. I complained to management when a woman called me, and nothing was done. Unprofessional. That was the last time I went there. I had seen high schoolers there getting their hair blown out or put up for a dance.

I have been wanting (semi) permanent eyeliner for years and was really excited to finally get it done. The procedure itself was virtually painless. There were only a couple of times on the lower lids that it felt pokey. Otherwise it was fine and just felt like someone was moving my lashes around. I followed the care instructions to the letter but when it was time for the touch-up (included in the price to even out anything that healed wonky) there was nothing there. I looked as though I never had the procedure done. For a few days after the procedure I woke up looking like I had slept with mascara on. I sleep on my back so this wasn't a pillow rubbing or anything. They told me it sometimes happen and that we would try again and I would still be able to get the touch up later at no additional charge. So, we tried again. My technician asked for assistance from another towards the end and they adjusted the needle depth. The upper lid felt the same as the first time but the lower lid was considerably more uncomfortable toward the outer corners. The lines looked different than the first time and I did not experience any "smudging" this time. I was very excited and hopeful for success. Unfortunately, it still didn't hold. When I went back in to see what could be done and if I could get my money back and I was told no that there are no guarantees and no refunds. My paperwork does say there are no guarantees but no where does it suggest that I might end up walking away with nothing. It talks about swelling, bruising, pigment irregularity and fading (in spots or over time), lash loss, corneal abrasion and infection but not one word about it not staying at all. In the end, they offered me a facial as a consolation which, I suppose, is better than nothing. Be aware that this is possible before you sign on the dotted line and put your money down. What are percentages? Idk...but know that it is possible and it does not matter if you are light or dark skinned. All that said, I am very much looking forward to my facial. :)

I said fine because I needed those nails off but really. I don't mind paying $35 if you had me wash that stuff off my hand, warm towels, cuticle oil, then hand massage with lotion (like the good old days). Then I would have been like ok it's about the experience. Only positive was the tech was nice- but really that's a bare minimum.

When I reached out to have it fixed, the stylist (Jessica) attempted a "root touch-up," which only made things worse--the top half of my hair ended up a completely different color from the bottom, with strong orange tones. When I contacted the salon again, the director (Lisa Reule) was unapologetic and only offered for me to return a third time so they could "fix" it. At that point, I had lost all confidence in their ability and went to Mosaic Salon instead, where they were able to repair the damage. Mosaic has always done beautiful work for me, and this experience reminded me it's worth the extra drive to go somewhere with real expertise. I do not recommend InStyle Salon, but I highly recommend Mosaic for professional, consistent results.

EARLY this morning, like 4/5 a.m., i booked an appointment and it did not confirmed on app, so i booked another, and it was sent to my junk mail (that i didn't see). They did not text me a confirmation when they opened. And, hear me out, i can take accountability, I should've checked my email and whatnot, so that's my bad and i'm sorry. BUT, they sent me a text at 12:30 p.m. and said i had NC, NS my 2:30!! p.m. appointment. So, i just figured it was cancelled and didn't go. THEN, at 2:30!! it said i missed ANOTHER appointment. I called, front lady was very nice, trying to get it cleared up. I had obviously made a mistake booking the same service two times for the same day, and i've never caused problems in the YEARS i've been going. But, they're sticking to their original statements saying i no called, no showed. So, i'm cancelling my wax pass and moving on. I wish there was something i could have done to make it better, but if you can't/won't help a loyal customer then i'll go elsewhere.

Honesty, quality and Amanda's genuine personality is what has made me a repeat customer. Initially, I went to see her for a lash lift and tint. I know my lashes were not as long as others but I wanted that volume. When I arrived to my appt, Amanda assessed my lashes and was honest to saying that they weren't long enough and to use this lash serum she had for 3 months. I had been using a lash serum from Sephora but was willing to try a new product. Over the 3 months, I can tell and have seem new growth in my lashes and on my lash line. I made another appt and the growth is noticeable but for the best results I will continue for another 3 months. I was really skeptical but serum does work!!! She wanted me to be happy with my service results so we waited. No one likes to have services done with unmet expectations. Her honesty is what keeps me coming back. She doesn't try to up sell me on things I don't need and she takes the time to personalize what treatments she thinks would work best, as everyone is different. I've had dermaplaning done and my face was immediately brighter and my makeup goes on like butter.
