I've been here a few times for pedicures. I always get the deluxe or the collagen. The last time, it felt they were rushing and they clipped my cuticle so bad that I was bleeding for a while. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and went back. I got the collagen pedicure. It again felt very rushed, barely a foot massage, and she was so rough with the pumice block on my heel and moving so quickly that she ended up scraping/scratching the inside of my ankles with it. I know my heels were very rough and cracked but she also was so rough that my heel ended up cracking more and bleeding after I walked on it. If you make an appointment and your customer shows up at that appointment time, don't expect them to wait a half an hour. Your salon isn't that great - lol. Nail techs are rude and polish color selection is sad. Go to one of the salons in downtown Avalon Park instead. read more

I came here in a moment of weakness/desperation when I couldn't get into my usual salon.... big mistake. I got a pedicure and a dip manicure. My pedicure was rushed (there wasn't even anyone waiting...) so it wasn't exactly the pampering experience I'm used to. My dip manicure wasn't any better. I wish I'd taken a picture of how sloppy and uneven my nails looked. I used to come here up until about 4 years ago, before it changed ownership and was still Timber Nails. Sadly, I stopped going there too when my favorite tech left and I wasn't happy with anyone else. It changed ownership in the last year I believe. I was willing to give them a try when I was desperate, but I won't be back. It's a real shame too because this location is so convenient to home. read more

I recommended this place when it was owned by the sweet couple but since they're under new management it's been awful and I recommend do not go to this place. It is an absolute waste of money, and the employees are rude and blatantly talk about you in front of you. my boyfriend and I both went here over the weekend. I called in advance and asked when they would like for us to come in. They gave us 45 minutes and we asked if they could fit us in for a pedicure and a manicure for him and a dip manicure only for myself. The man on the phone must have misunderstood and thought that I said only two pedicures so they were frustrated with us when I said he was only a pedicure and we are both doing manicures, and that mine was a dip and they misheard that it was dip and that it was actually they thought it was gel polish and got mad when I asked for dip instead after the woman told me that on my broken nail that she was going to put a tip on for me would be a different color because she couldn't do gel on tip it had to be powder. So I asked for all dip so my one nail wouldn't be a wrong color. She was frustrated with me for asking for dip. In fact I'm convinced she didn't know what she was doing with dip and that's why she was upset I had asked for it. She had asked me if I wanted my nails filed and shaped and k said yes to make them more uniform and all the same length and every single one of my Nails came out a different shape, length and thickness with the dip. She also kept using the rolling tool to trim the thickness at the bed of my nail and was burning my cuticles. She also waited until the end after dip was on to fry to shape the nails a second time when she realized how bad they looked and kept huffing out of frustration that the nails wouldn't file down. Then got upset when we said that my boyfriend was up next and rushed through his to leave his cuticles bloody, nails uncut & the clear cost messed up on half his fingers. Please do not waste your time, patience or money in this nail salon. I know there has to be one out there that actually treats you well but I can tell you ot is not this one. read more

So I came in here for my birthday nails as my usual Orlando nail tech recently moved. I found this place after reading many reviews and even booked with a specific nail tech. This was the roughesttttt manicure I have ever had. The tech was super rough with my natural nails, & kept saying I have "sensitive hands". I told them I have never had my dip removed like this, which warranted no response. After picking a sparkly color (you know trying to do a lil sum for my bday), I noticed after the first dip the powder wasn't shimmery. I mentioned this and the tech went back to the color samples, unsure why the sample was indeed shimmery. Ultimately, they let me change the color and I settled for what's pictured. My nails were cut way too short, I guess leading to the tech not being able to shape my nails coffin, how they always are. They never asked what shape I'd like. I've also never had to put dip powder under UV light, which burned my nails. The nails look decent and the price was standard, however just not what I wanted. read more

My nails came out nice but service was pretty lousy. I called and they seemed so nice over the phone but when I got to the salon, The nail tech was short, rude and seemed irritated when I asked for an off white vs a pure white. I am 100% confident they were talking about me as they kept talking, looking up at me, laughing and staring. lol. I'm not too upset because this happens often depending the salon but dang, try to be discreet so it's not noticeable and awkward . The tech painted one finger pure white and when I asked if he could use funny bunny instead, he said "this is fine" and proceeded to use the pure white. I know customer service is lacking nowadays but at least make an attempt to satisfy the customer. I won't be coming back unless it's a true emergency where I absolutely need my nails done. If you don't care about service, I'd recommend this place. If you're like me who may get a little impatient and short tempered when it comes to bad service, I suggest you go somewhere else. I went there today with my daughter we started going there a while ago since we just moved and its across the street. I never had a problem before the only thing is that none of their workers can do designs besides the owner. which is crazy to me but anyways I never had a problem I just started picking more simple nails. Today I had a lady who I never seen or had before. She was extremely rude! She started off by complaining that my fingers were to stiff. I told her there was nothing i could do about that sorry. Now she starts talking in Chinese or whatever to the guy sitting next to her doing nails and I can see them looking at my fingers and she moves them like showing him im stiff. I stay quiet and again she complains and starts laughing with him. I suffer from an autoimmune disease and it makes my fingers stiff. So yea maybe at some times my fingers get stiff i cant help that. I shouldnt have to explain that i have a disease. As a worker you should never make your customer feel like crap or make fun of them. My daughter then comes up and she had been asking her tech for nail stickers and she wasn't understanding her so she came to tell me to ask. She gets nail stickers literally every time we go there. this lady starts complaining about my daughter asking and again they all start talking in Chinese and laughing. they ask look at me and say "nail sticker for her" like its an issue. There was a lady sitting next to me getting her nails done and turns to me and gives me a look. I said to her is it just me or are they all being so rude to me? She said oh no its not you they are extremely rude! i thought i was going crazy. I never have an issue with them talking Chinese wherever I go but this is different they were talking bad about me and my daughter laughing right in front of my face and everyone could tell. I get up to the register and mind you i been there many times before they charged me 10$ for 2 stickers not even a design but 2 cheap nail stickers to be placed on my 6 year old daughter. I know for sure i never been charged more than $5 for 10 stickers before. I said whatever and just paid. I have never left a place without tipping before even if they do a horrible job i still tip but they were so rude and treated us so poorly they didn't deserve a tip! Been coming here for a couple of months and done my nails 4 times with Billy and you'd think they would take good care of repeating customers. Every visit they would charge me more and more. Started paying $50 then last time was $60 and now this visit $70. And I would always get designs on just three nails on each finger. Came here because my usual salon was closed and didn't really have time to wait another day. I got short acrylics with colored tips. Definitely was not worth $70! The nails came out thick and my nail beds were sore and burning for two days. The tech that I started with used tips far too big for my nails and then I was asked to move over to a different nail tech who beat the shit out of my hands. She also called my hands fat?? Everyone beware!!! This is the worst salon in the neighborhood and Florida as a whole! I would have rated it 0 if it will let me. Since the new management took over it has been hell going to this salon. The disrespect and bad attitude is on another level. The so called manager is very very rude! The salon sells the most expensive spa pedicure $40+ that's not worth it and when it's not done correctly there's no effort to correct it but told they are very busy now with other customers. The owner or manager who should help with making sure customers are satisfied is very very rude and treat customers with so much disrespect it's appalling to say the least. This salon is messed up they do not treat customers with politeness at all. Since they changed management of this salon it has been down hill with the service you pay for. After waiting over an hour, I waisted more time and money. I chose the most expensive pedicure. From start to finish, including paining my toes, it was less than 15 minutes. She literally threw on the lotions and wiped them off. Then I went to my manicure. SHE DID NOT EVEN FILE MY NAILS. Again, start to finish less than 15 minutes. She painted one hand and told me to go to the dryer thinking she was done. I had to tell her she didn't paint a hand....... I understand they were busy but that doesn't mean I should suffer for their poor staffing. read more

I went and got a fill done paid $42 and next day took my daughter and she and I had our nails done. Total was $84. I realized hours later my nail coat had dried up horribly as if it wasn't done correctly the first time. I went back to ask them to repaint and they had the audacity to tell me if they had to repaint they would have to charge me. After doing a horrible job at coloring the nails you're going to charge me to paint again to do it right. Needless to say they lost a customer that goes religiously every 3 weeks and spends at least $140. Also after I walked out without thanking for repainting them they called me on my cell phone, perhaps to ask me for the payment. The nerve!!! Seriously bad customer service. The only answer he should of given me when he saw I returned and was not pleased was no problem we can repaint what color would you like. That is real customer service. Please learn otherwise people will not go back if you can't fix something the customer is not pleased with. read more
