We booked their…read morefull pack-move-unpack service (including junk removal), and from start to finish they delivered exactly what they promised--no surprises, no hidden charges. They came out right away to give us an all-inclusive estimate, and the number they quoted is exactly what we paid. That level of honesty and transparency is rare, especially when other companies nickel-and-dime you for every little thing. What really stood out is their attitude--every request we had was met with "don't worry, we'll take care of it," and they genuinely did. The 7-person crew worked three full days, packing every single item (including fragile pieces) with incredible care, disassembling and reassembling furniture, and maneuvering large heavy items without leaving a single scratch. They supplied all the packing materials and truly went above and beyond to get everything done. We had dreaded this move for weeks, but Slick made the whole process smooth, professional, and surprisingly stress-free. I wouldn't even consider another company after this experience. If you want movers who are skilled, reliable, and genuinely care about the details, call Slick.

Just finished a move with Relo Moving & Storage. Richard…read morein the sales team were helpful and responsive during planning, and was VERY accommodating to my ever-changing move dates! Lasha and his team did the move and had done a fantastic job! The team on-time, showed up at the exact agreed time. They worked fast, efficient, and with care. The furnitures, fixtures and lights etc, were well wrapped and protected. I have a glass top extendable dinning table. The extension piece folds underneath but is not 'hard secured' (i.e, will make contact with the top glass during travel). Lasha took the time carefully secured the whole table top, it stuffed and wrapped like a mummy! The team also clean up after themselves. I can not find a piece of trash or moving/packing material in my apartment unit and in the building hallway. It was like they were never there! I highly recommend their service to anyone looking for a mover.

We strongly caution anyone against using this moving company…read more Our experience with this company was extremely disturbing. During our move, a substantial amount of our property went missing, including antiques and valuable, one-of-a-kind items that had significant financial and sentimental value. We reported the missing property to the police and filed a claim through our insurance. Despite the seriousness of what happened, the moving company has refused to take responsibility or provide a satisfactory explanation for the missing items. This was not a situation where a few inexpensive belongings were misplaced. We are talking about thousands of dollars' worth of property that was entrusted to this company while it was in their care. We hired professional movers because we trusted them with our home and our belongings. Looking back, there were warning signs that we wish we had taken more seriously. Based on our experience, we would strongly advise others to thoroughly research this company and take extreme precautions before entrusting them with valuable belongings. Keep detailed inventories, photograph everything, and document the condition of your property before the movers arrive. We are still dealing with the consequences of this experience months later.

I used this moving service to move from Upper East Side to Brooklyn and they did a stellar job!!…read more Two guys came and they actually came 1 hour earlier than the decided time which was great because I had wanted to change my afternoon reservation to morning but unfortunately there weren't any spots. But they still came one hour early so I was able to do the move really fast. They also worked really fast and nothing was damaged. Even before moving day they were good at communicating which was a good sign. On the day of the move it only took 2 hours from start to finish. I did have elevators in both buildings though. I was happy with the service I gave them a good tip. Total moving costs from studio to another studio with very minimal furniture (bed frame, mattress, desk, chair, guitar) cost me $365. Really good prices for a Manhattan move. Other places were saying they'll charge me $500, even $700. I'm really happy with the service and would recommend it.

Honestly more like a 3.5!! TLDR, they were much cheaper than all the other moving companies which I…read morereally do appreciate, but the quality drop in service matches. After a lot of reddit stalking and asking around I settled with SVEN moving because they gave me the cheapest quote, about $200 cheaper than Piece of Cake. The Good Much more affordable than others! + They were really fast! Though I'm sure that also had to do with the fact that all they did was put stuff into the truck, move them, and then take them up (both my buildings had elevators). The entire move took less than 2 hours, which is their minimum. + Virtual Customer Service leading up to the move was FANTASTIC. They responded to my emails very quickly as well as an urgent call I made the day before to request a very last-minute COI, which they sent around midnight later that night. They also proactively realized that my original move date was going to be on the same day as a World Cup match and offered a different day if I chose to, so that I wouldn't drive up the hourly rate while the truck sat in potential traffic. They also did a GREAT job of breaking down the cost so that I knew exactly what I was paying for and I always appreciate that. The Bad I definitely now understand why it was cheaper -- there was no packing help from them or disassembly whereas the quote from Piece of Cake included disassembly and reassembly + packing and boxes. When they moved my bed, they didn't wrap it in blankets in the room (they could've in the truck) which means that during the transpiration out of my old room and into my old room it was just exposed to open air-- this made me nervous because my bed wooden. + My desk didn't fit through the smaller door of the apartment I moved into, and I expected that they would disassemble and reassemble to take it into my room, but I was told that due to liability issues they are only able to do that for beds. My bed didn't even need that so they just moved that as a whole piece (a slab was unscrewed but I didn't really care about that). Anyways, I was thus stuck with a large and heavy desk in the middle of the living room that I had to quickly find a way to disassemble before my new roommates got home. Due to the cheaper price I'm not too mad about this, HOWEVER my dissatisfaction comes from the fact that the "liability issue" was NOT communicated to me beforehand. I actually emailed the company with the size of my desk and told them it may require disassembly, and to which they gave me a $45 quote for desk disassembly (which shows that they COULD HAVE disassembled it...) and then in a later email wrote "we most likely will not have to take apart the desk to safely transport it. As such I won't add the proposed disassembly fee to your quote." I would've HAPPILY paid the extra to not have had to deal with it myself-- it would've been a quick and easy 20-min task for 2 strong movers but with just me it wasted a lot of my time and energy. Ended up getting my boyfriend to help, but because we didn't expect this, we also had to hunt for the toolbox amongst my many bags and boxes. This is the reason I'm rounding down to 3 stars They also came an hour early which meant I had to rush home from previous plans I made with the original time in mind :') at least they were done very early lol As someone who appreciates cheaper pricing I definitely would still use them again to move my bed BUT with the heavy precaution that everything else needs to be disassembled on my own and that all my boxes need to be packed and ready to go (thank goodness I thought of doing that). If you want to pay extra for a truly no-hassle hands-off move, would definitely consider other companies!

When we arrived at the storage facility, the people I thought were going to help ended up staying in the car, and your team stepped right up. They helped get everything onto the loading dock and made the entire process so much easier for me. This was my first time navigating a storage facility, so I was still learning how everything worked. They were patient, kind, professional, extremely helpful, and clearly experienced. I highly recommend A Super Move and the Free Truck & Driver Program. Thank you for making what could have been a stressful day so much easier!

I caution you all, do not use "A Super Move". Because it can end up being "No Move."…read more We booked a move for today in advance, pickup between 2-4pm. In the morning, they sent a text confirmation about today's pickup. At 2:30pm, they texted us telling us they were running late and would be here at 5pm. Okay, things happen. After multiple calls in the last 4 hours, it is now 6:30pm and no one is here. The original driver who told us he was running late apparently reached out to a 2nd driver. The 2nd driver told us he was in Queens. Neither driver is anywhere to be found and both driver thought the other driver was going to get us. The 2nd driver said he would call his manager to see if he could leave our things in the truck overnight (because the storage unit closes at 8pm), but then later said his manager didn't pick up. This has left us sitting with our stuff outside in the cold (it's 10 degrees today in New York City) because our building doesn't allow us to leave our stuff in the hallway. Not only that, it is 6:30pm and we don't know if ANYONE is coming or what to do with our stuff. This kind of communication or LACK of communication, between the drivers themselves, and between us and the drivers and complete lack of reliability is absolutely unacceptable.

This company unfortunately seems hit or miss. After having a good experience with them last year,…read morewe re-hired them to move again this year. The arrival window was 1-4pm. At 4pm, they hadn't arrived and we hadn't heard anything so my husband called the office only to be told that the office could not get ahold of the crew. After about 30 minutes, they called back saying the moving crew was having an issue with their truck. While it's understandable that things happen and are out of their control, it was the lack of notice that really bothered us. Once they determined something was going on with that crew they promised that a new crew could come at 7pm, saying "they will 100% be there." 5:30pm rolled around and we got a call that the move was cancelled because the crew did not want to work that late and our only other option was the next day at 1pm but we had to be out of the apartment in the morning. Because it was already 5:30pm, it was nearly impossible to find any help and we ended up having to recruit some very nice friends to help. Had we known right away that there was an issue, we could have started moving ourselves earlier or tried to find back up. So again, while mistakes and things happen it was the lack of communication that really spoke to how they run a business and why I would not recommend taking the gamble booking with this company again.
