They also required that I clear my counters and tabletops before they cleaned my home which meant that I was putting away dusty things into my cupboards which didn't make sense to me. I had to change my cleaning day from Thursday (when the owner Luis helped to clean my home) to Monday because I was attending a conference. When I returned home my house looked AWESOME! Luis and crew just did an ADEQUATE job. Another client told me that she experienced the same thing when Luis cleaned her home and that not only did her usual crew do an AWESOME job, they let her keep things on the counters and tabletops . When I asked that a different crew clean my home they canceled my service! To be fair, this service offered to accommodate some of my needs by adding some of my requests to their "cleaning checklist" but this increased my fee from $100 to $120 every two weeks and required several emails. If you decide to use this service (they did have great recommendations) then I would suggest that you make sure that Luis doesn't clean your home and be prepared to put your dusty things out of sight. This service also canceled my service the day before my home was supposed to be cleaned. The professional thing to do would be to clean my home one last time so I'd have two weeks to hire another service! Good luck!

They clearly used the wrong or harsh cleaning products, and ever since then my oven has been nothing but problems. My oven began smoking after the cleaning, takes an extremely long time to preheat, and now there is a gas leak. It has become unsafe to use and is now completely broken. Before the cleaning, I was not experiencing these issues. To make matters worse, the quality of the cleaning itself was unacceptable. The cleaner washed my dishes, but every single dish was still dirty. I had to rewash them myself because they had food residue and were not properly cleaned. It was obvious that little care or attention was given to the job. I trusted this company to professionally clean my home, but instead I was left with a damaged appliance, dirty dishes, and the expense and inconvenience of repairing or replacing my oven. This was supposed to make my life easier, but it created more work and unnecessary stress. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company. I travel for work M-Th and it has been a huge relief to know that my home is in good, safe hands and that I can pick up the phone and ask for help at anytime (seriously, with anything - cleaning, dry cleaning, dog walking, bill pay, grocery shopping). My "partner" comes over every Thursday and cleans between 2-4 hours and helps take care of my pup and occasionally will do a grocery pick up. It is $36 an hour with a minimum of 2 hours - but no monthly/weekly minimum, so you could do once a month, every other week, once a quarter. For scope, they can do our living room, bathroom, and kitchen in two hours and in three hours she can do the bedrooms (including washing/changing sheets) and brush the dog. The owner is Kristin, came over to meet me and walk through the apartment with me before we started and she's come with my housekeeper a few times to check in and make sure she's being as efficient as possible with her time. She's always quick to respond to email or phone calls and has really gone above and beyond in all of my interactions with her.

They all know about my cats and make sure the little escape artists don't run out the door! I know my house is good hands, and I will continue to use their services for a very long time. If you are thinking about whether to use a service regularly even if you have a small home, I would recommend to go for it. We have a small two bedroom apartment, no kids, but we both work. When I finally got a return call, it was after hours and Melissa left a message telling me I only had 30 days to call for service and that they would not be servicing our concerns. Well, I'd been trying to get someone on the phone for weeks. My husband has spent thousands with Chem-Dry over the years as they have cleaned for his commercial business'. He has not had issue with them before, but I'm thinking residential accounts may not be priority as they are not big ticket jobs? I'm not sure if they have made the connection between our home and the business'. It is apparent Customer Service and follow up are not aspects they want to bother with as evidenced with our experience.
