I would recommend Diablo Flooring to anyone looking for a professional, responsive, competent company to put beautiful flooring in their home. Everyone we worked with, from Tom who helped us find a floor that met our needs (color, texture, price) to Dave who came into our home to measure, answer questions and share his expertise to Miguel and his crew who installed 1000 square feet of floor in one day the experience we had was wonderful. We visited other Livermore companies to do our due diligence, but they all paled in comparison. When it's time to put carpet in the bedrooms we'll be going back to Diablo Flooring. read more

We hired Diablo Flooring based on their overwhelming 5 star yelp reviews and we can say confidently that we don't regret our decision! The quality of their work and professionalism exceeded our expectations. Dave was so kind and patient in helping us decide on the right carpet for our second floor. He was readily available and ensured it was a smooth process. The men who did the install were amazing! They worked efficiently & got the job done in two days! They were helpful in moving heavy furniture & reinstalling items as well! I appreciated their attention to detail and leaving the house free of debris and dust afterwards. I would hire Diablo flooring again & recommend them to anyone who is looking for exceptional service! read more

We used Diablo for our hardwood flooring supplier (but no installation). They worked with us on pricing and were quick to return phone calls. The wood we ordered arrived about a month later and they delivered it inside the house for us. They let us know about lead times and it helped guide our decision. No complaints. We really wanted to use somebody local instead of buying thru an anonymous online retailer. Since we were DIY installing, they gave us some advice and a price in case we got fed us with it ourselves. The install price was too steep for us, but was well within range when we shopped around. read more

I needed my bathroom vinyl floor replaced and went to 3 places: Diablo, Home Depot and S&G. Diablo was not the cheapest(Home Depot has the cheapest quote) but when I checked on YELP, I found that there were 2 previous reviews for this flooring company and both rated it 5 stars. So I went ahead and booked an appointment with them. The whole experience was easy and just a great experience. I know what I wanted in terms of the flooring material(complete with item number) when I called their office. However, they were already closed but the owner, Brian, told me that I could email the item numbers of the material and the size of my bathroom and he could give me an estimate. So I emailed him that night and the day after, I got my preliminary estimates. So far so good.. Then when I got the other estimates from the other flooring stores, I went ahead and decided to go with Diablo Flooring. I called back Brian and told him to go ahead and get the material if in stock and do the work. He said the material was on stock and he can have someone do it in 2 days. We booked the appointment for the 2 bathrooms. The schedule was 8 am and his installer was in my place at 7:55 am. How's that for punctuality !! Now I am impressed ! Anyway, the installer answered all my questions, did his thing, cleaned up and was very, very professional. He finished the project ahead of schedule(he only took like 30 minutes break!). I even offered him lunch but he said he brought some his own food but thanked me anyway. My floor looked perfect and even my coworkers liked it. Now I know why this company has a perfect review so far. Keep up the great job guys and I will surely use you guys again in future projects ! read more

I first used Diablo Flooring for carpet in my first home about 7 years ago. Since then, I've used them for several homes I've owned in my real estate business....as well as, I've recommended Diablo Flooring to several friends, family and clients. They consistently give me quality service and have a large variety of products depending on my budget. Overall, a quality and no-nonsense professional company that I will continue to do business with. read more

Recently bought a house and needed new carpet for the bedrooms in the home. Diablo was a pleasure to work with; very responsive and always followed through with their promises. (It never ceases to amaze me how many companies simply won't return phone calls when they claim they will.) Brian came out and got our measurements during the week before Xmas which was much appreciated for the full-service no-surprises quote, And once the carpet arrived the installer did a really outstanding job. Everything comes together flawlessly including some of the tricker tight areas around the closets. read more

So after getting new floors last year =) , I wanted to soften the dining room area with a new rug. Stop by and meet Aurora, she was extremely patient and spent almost 2 hours helping me pick the right rug. We found a really nice wool rug that would fit and look stunning in my dining area. It"s good to bring pictures of the room so we can bounce ideas back in forth!! read more

Diablo Flooring - Soft, warm and cozy. - Carpeting Near Me

We recently bought a new home, which needed some upgrades and decided to start with repainting before we went carpet shopping. We visited the usual big box stores but did not get the best of feelings or choices to our liking. So we decided to go to a carpet specialist. We saw Diablo Flooring as we were driving home one afternoon and stopped in and spoke with David regarding our needs. He and his staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about carpets in general and specifically our needs. We wanted to use a Tactesse nylon fiber due to its wear qualities and especially its nice soft feeling under one's feet. They listened to us when we explained the type of carpet we wanted. They explained the pros and cons of this product and other carpets available but did not try to oversell our needs and desires. They offered us samples to take home and compare them against the paint color the rooms were painted. After the choice was made, the installer came by to measure exactly how much carpet we needed and a short time later 2 installers returned to removed the existing carpet and put down a new 8 pound pad and install the carpet we selected. They were done in a morning and we have been very pleased with both our choice of carpet and how smoothly the whole process went. Diablo Flooring made choosing the right carpet an effortless task and they will be the first company we will contact again when we are ready for additional flooring needs. We strongly recommend them and feel they gave us a fair price for a quality product. read more

We purchased & had installed hardwood, carpet & when Diablo Flooring told us they replace baseboards, we agreed to have them do those too. They did an adequate job on the flooring. The baseboards? More on that later. There were a couple of red flags that should have caught my attention. The initial person who gave us our estimate for floor & baseboard installation & furniture moving was fired shortly after giving us a quote so when I continued to discuss the quote with Brian & asked if it would be possible to lower the bid (& mentioned a carpet discount they advertised on Yelp), he said he could likely accommodate but then needed to come out & survey the work that would be done. Afterwards, Brian gave me the same quote & told me that he had to charge $200 extra to move our piano, which the original estimator had communicated was included as part of the original estimate. Brian insisted that this could not have been the case. So we were back at square one; he supposedly gave me the lower price but made up for it by adding the piano moving charge. When I told him I had to think about it, he called back & agreed to do the job at the lower price. Based on that & on the positive reviews on Yelp, we hired Diablo Flooring. But THEN, we were told that we would have to paint the baseboards after they were ordered, either by ourselves or hire someone to paint them. I don't know if this is standard practice with other companies, but Brian insisted that they don't paint baseboards they have to install. The baseboards were ordered from a separate moulding company & were installed by a subcontractor. I have photos to post from the job that show the work that was initially done & the final work if Diablo Flooring/Yelp allow me to post them. We were not at all satisfied with the baseboard work. The baseboard met the existing 2 ft. of siding (which I originally & mistakenly thought would be replaced) unevenly. Diablo Flooring was content to leave it as such. I emailed a photo to Brian to ask if anything could be done as they did not blend together, and Brian's solution was that I paint the siding the same color as the baseboard. We then asked a couple of contractor friends of ours if this was the best that could be done. Both said it the job was unacceptable as it stood & offered suggestions on how it might look better. When the sub came to finish installing another baseboard, we discussed it with him. Brian came later while we had another appointment & came up with a different remedy that still left the tops of the baseboard & siding uneven & unattractive. By the time we returned, the subs had been dismissed. Brian said that their job was to remove & replace the previous baseboards (the 2 feet of siding was not baseboard apparently - it would have been nice if I had been educated about that before the job), and he said they did what they said they would do. Aesthetically pleasing? I guess that's would be going beyond Diablo Flooring's responsibility (and I suspect it would've meant having Brian pay his subs the additional time for the job). Also, the new flooring was installed lower than the previous flooring so the siding was blemished & needed to be sanded as a result. Perhaps Brian didn't foresee this issue (he did mention in passing to me in phone conversation that not all issues can be foreseen), but the way in which this was handled says a lot about the company's philosophy about doing an "adequate" job or doing a "great" job. Diablo Flooring is certainly able to do an adequate job, but I suppose it's important to remember that they are not a moulding company & I would caution anyone from purchasing moulding installation through them. read more

We chose Diablo Flooring from its positive reviews on the web (we are new to the area and did not know whom to call). For the most part, everything was okay until the carpet was installed. The manufacturer (Gulistan) had a problem with the dye being uneven. They sent a guy out to try and even out the color/shading, but it still looked off. Here's where things went sour...Brian, the owner of Diablo took a real amateur approach and told me I was "one of those customers whom he couldn't please". Hello?! Either order new carpet and fix the problem or offer me a $$ settlement to go away, but do something! I think he fails to understand that even though I don't hold him accountable for the manufacturer's defect, he could have been more firm with them and demanded a timely response and an reasonable offer to correct the situation. Amazingly enough, I called him last night and pressed him for a response. Sure enough, he called this morning with a reasonable offer from the manufacturer. Was that so difficult? Couldn't that have been done weeks ago? Well intentioned company, but missed the target here. read more

I recently worked with Diablo Flooring to replace flooring in a one-bedroom rental apartment. Diablo Flooring was great to work with. I was able to quickly make the decisions about the carpet and luxury vinyl tile that I wanted using their samples. They were very responsive on all the other parts: measuring the space, setting up the order, scheduling the install and installing the new flooring with baseboards. I will definitely use Diablo Flooring again. Thanks for a great experience! read more

We used Diablo Flooring recently. Brian and his staff were all wonderful. We had been dealing with The Floor Store (a review I need to write) and we were frustrated and unhappy. I saw an ad for Diablo and went to check it out. Brian's wife was in the store and couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. The other fellow in the shop (sorry can't remember his name) called me back right away to give me prices on samples I had seen. Brian came the next day and did measuring and had a proposal emailed to me in nothing flat! The install happened right on time and was done beautifully. The s tore itself has a great selection and Brian was very helpful in guiding us regarding quality. We have some more carpeting to complete and we will definately use them again. read more

Brian gave me an estimate and was very competitive after I had several offers. I chose his company and they delivered on time and with excellant workmanship. Best of all the insatllation was not an inconvienence even though I have three young children in the house and it was a two week remodel. Excellant manners by all staff! Great job! read more

Brian and his team at Diablo Flooring are absolutely the best! Brian took the time to give me great pointers about the laminate flooring that I selected for my condo. The estimate was not dirt cheap, but I wanted a quality product and installation. I felt I got a good value for what I had chosen. Jeff, the operations manager, was wonderful to work with. His team of installers, Brent and Alfredo, were prompt and very helpful in getting the larger pieces of furniture out of the way. They did a great job on the install. I was so pleased with the result that even though I originally had not intended to complete my son's bedroom at this time, we went ahead and did that too. The entire Diablo Flooring team made it happen in the time frame I needed and were a pleasure to deal with. Thanks for my beautiful floors! read more

We just had Diablo flooring install new hardwood, layer it in to meet the old and sand and stain everything to match the other oak in the house. The floors look fabulous. Jeff, our contact, was an excellent communicator. He kept us apprised of plans and timing and helped us coordinate around other activities happening in the house. All the people who worked on the project were courteous and professional. Best of all they did a great job of cleaning up the dust from the sanding. I had two bids for the project and Diablo Flooring was by far the best value. I highly recommend you call Jeff. read more

A++ Everyone at Diablo Flooring was absolutely fantastic. The gentlemen that did the install were courteous, professional, and worked extremely fast. Diablo installed wood flooring in our house in Pleasanton. They have a great selection and are very knowledgable. They put in a lot of effort in helping us pick the flooring. Got the run around at the large home improvement store as far as anticipated cost was going to be to install a new kitchen vinyl floor, so we decided to use a local small business instead, Diablo. We were very pleased with the professionalism of the initial contact person (Dave) followed by the conscientious installers. They arrived promptly and did an excellent job from start to finish....moving things around....finishing up touches like the molding, etc. The cost for a higher grade product we got at Diablo was less than the lower grade product we were quoted for at the large store so we felt that we got a much better product as well as price. read more

We had to match hardwood flooring in one last room of our house. The rest of the house was done years ago by a company that went out of business. In the meantime, the manufacturer had replaced the SKU that was throughout our house, which presented a challenge. Brian and Aurora had many contacts and resources at their disposal and managed to find a perfect match. They were both cautious and meticulous in making sure the match was perfect. The installation was perfect - done within the week that the order was placed. The work was perfect and their employees were great. I highly recommend this business. It's good to see nice people who take such pride in doing a great job. read more

Diablo Flooring was exceptional in service, quality, price and workmanship! Good service is so hard to come by these days and Diablo did not disappoint us. We had carpet installed in 4 bedrooms, stairs and a loft. Dave spent quality time helping us pick the carpets and Hector and his crew expertly laid them. During the process we had a leak which caused a portion of our kitchen hard wood floor to buckle and Diablo came to our rescue and repaired that as well. It was truly a pleasure doing business with them and I will use them for all of my flooring needs. read more

In 2011 we started talking to installers about extending an existing manufactured wood floor from one area of the house to another. Because the original flooring was discontinued, we were reluctant to even proceed with the project. We worked with all of the major flooring installers in the tri-valley, but only Diablo took the time to help us find the perfect match. The owner Brian personally visited our home several times with samples, and was always eager to pick-up, drop-off, or meet at his showroom (which by the way is sharp and clean). Brian also emphasized Diablo's attention to detail. We made it clear to Diablo that we wanted a top-notch installation - not the mediocre quality more typical of carpet stores and Home Depot. With Brian's expert assistance in selecting materials and planning for the installation, our new manufactured flooring matched almost perfectly. Brian even went a step further and suggested a few aftermarket products that we could apply to the original flooring to more closely match the sheen of the new floor. We found a few minor problems with the initial installation but Brian quickly resolved them. It's hard to find responsive and professional installers in the home improvement industry - and Diablo's high quality service was an unexpected surprise. We were extremely pleased with the final project and would like to thank Brian for his guidance and follow through. We're planning to use Diablo in the future for carpet, tile, and more wood flooring. read more
