Additionally, the conduct of your counter staff was unacceptable. Rather than assisting me, they laughed among themselves and directed a rude comment toward me, a paying customer. I responded calmly. But I signed up with Federal Mailbox about a year after their move to the current location on Van Nuys Blvd near Burbank Blvd and was very pleased with their service from the very start. And when new management took over in June 2022, things got even better. Isaac Garcia (the new owner) is a really friendly guy and his employees (currently Jack) who are there most of the time are not only friendly but always helpful. Package notifications are prompt and efficient. One problem and minus one star because they advertise---on their website and on their window at the location---that they have notary public service. But they don't. They sent me elsewhere.

This manager walks up to the door, I humbly explain to her the urgency of my situation (4 pages to scan to submit for a pending mortgage loan. I beg and plead, but all I got from her was "I'm sorry, but we just closed." Maybe it's just me, but It was 8:03pm and even a few customers inside came up to her with disbelief. But she was pretty firm and would not have it any other way. Really FedEx? Has the candidate pool gotten this shallow? You certainly picked a winner with this one. I didn't catch her name, but she should stand up and take a bow, as she single-handedly chased a regular customer away for life. People generally review the extremely good and the pathetically bad, because they were emotionally moved by a standout employee. This piece of work must have fallen asleep during her orientation. Clearly clueless about Customer Service, the notion of going above and beyond the call of duty to shine like a star during a customer's desperate moment. The other reviews speak for themselves. Just some food for thought for the top brass, who will hopefully stumble upon this scenario from an ex-customer's perspective and perhaps consider investing in a little more training - at the very least - about common courtesy. I honestly avoided this place before, but now it feels completely different--in a good way. I drop off all my FedEx and UPS packages here, and I pick up my boxes from Amazon, UPS, and FedEx at this location too. Super convenient, no stress.
