The design of the place is very fun but IMO the atmosphere is somewhat diminished by everything being packaged in to-go containers and kiosk ordering. The person who brought my food out seemed nice though. I liked their music choices. I had the vegan orange tofu bowl. It was pretty good - the tofu was had a nice crispy coating, the vegetables were fresh, and the orange sauce was really good. Some orange sauces are very sweet but this one was more balanced, more tangy than sweet. Note that this comes with a salad dressing containing honey by default. They make this pretty clear in the menu description and give you the option to remove it; I got the dressing but think the bowl would still be good without it. I also got a mini matcha cheesecake slice. I wanted a sweet bite but didn't have the appetite for a big dessert, so this was the perfect size. The matcha flavour was nice and it wasn't too sweet, though it was a little on the dry side. Overall a good place if you want a very casual and quick but healthy meal. read more

I'm not a fan of the self serve kiosks.. but it's not the end of the world! I really only came here for the sushi and to see their menu with very little variety made me want to leave, but instead I was determined to try it out. I ordered 4 different rolls and their cucumber salad. The salad was great! The rolls were mid. It got the job done. Ordered a quick lunch today between my clients. The veggie dumplings and miso sounded good. This is my first time having the dumplings and they are so good! Very flavorful and were fried for a little extra crunch. The miso was hot, full of seaweed and tofu. I enjoyed the shitake mushrooms in the soup. Service is always fast and friendly! I appreciate how quick they are getting the food prepared. We sometimes don't always have a lot of time to eat. It's always so chill in there. Such a easy going vibe. Not sure why everyone is hating, but I've enjoyed this place for about 6 years now, back to when they were at a different location. No, it's not gourmet sushi, so if that's what you're looking for, I'd find a different place. However, I'm a broke college student now and like having cheap, good sushi, so I come here. The atmosphere is really nice and they always play good music. There are plants everywhere and lots of windows, as well as seating outside. The wait on food isn't long at all, and the sushi is good for the price. They have little kiosks that you order at and also fridges that you grab your own drink from; this is amazing if you're an introvert like me and hate ordering food. I truly don't understand the negative reviews- Dharma has consistently been fresh, healthy, and delicious for years!! They offer a bunch of different roll options, are always fast, and the ingredients are consistently high quality and fresh. This is one of my favorite spots to grab a healthy lunch during the week. My favorite rolls are the: Thai peanut, Eureka, Bangkok, and the urban. The sides are fun and worth trying! As unconventional as they sound- the loaded tots (topped with unagi sauce, spicy Mayo, scallions, etc.) are so so good. 10/10 recommend! I'm know there's places with more traditional sushi, however, Dharma is a fun, modern, creative place to eat. read more

It tasted like fermented fish - why would a 'vegan' menu item shoot for such such an unpleasant taste? I'm not vegan but good word there is not way I could stomach such a nauseating concoction Sadly all but the $5 tots from our $44 takeout order went straight into the trash, and I'm pretty sure our trash can will need counseling after what's it having to endure. I stopped by for a late night snack after attending Welcome to Night Vale at the Egyptian Theater. It's been awhile since I've been here, and things have evolved. Now, you order and pay (no cash accepted currently) on a screen. Then a person brings you what you ordered. The water station with napkins, to go containers (more on this later), and anything else you might need with regards to your food is in a new and improved location. No need to chase down the waiter, and no need for the waiter to chase down you. It's an efficient order/pay and self serve system. I like the freedom to be self sufficient. I chose the money bags (sweet & spicy cream cheese filled wontons like crab Rangoon minus the crab), banana bites (chocolate banana cheesecake in a wonton as well). Fried. Delightfully fried. Served with the sauces I requested from the screen. The food came out quickly, and I enjoyed my fried items immensely. I did drop one of my fried friends and it made a surprisingly loud thud as it hit the floor. It echoed. It echoed. Luckily, most people were on their phones or other devices so no one really noticed. Nonetheless, I quickly grabbed a container lid before slinking to my car in the parking lot next door. I then drove home to finish eating my fried wontons. I enjoyed my visit at Dharma. The new changes, expanded menu, and decor are refreshing. They still have the same cool vibe and window seats which are great for people watching. read more

Came here with a friend of mine for lunch and really really enjoyed it. The location was easy to find a place to park and it was a very relaxing experience. Inside is well decorated, warm and wonderful with the sun pouring in the front windows. We enjoyed people watching and chatting without any sense of rush. The customer service was excellent! Very very helpful guys at the counter and their modern checkout was amazingly easy and fun! The food was really really wonderful, we had the fried tofu, save the fish, and tree city roll, all had plenty of portion and the tastiness factor was great. Being my second visit I would highly recommend as both times have been very positive. I almost forgot the best part: lemonade was soooooo good! On a side note: this place is super environmentally friendly from their cups to their plates and that is a wonderful thing to see. I will be going back! I had some business at City Hall, and my sister and air thought it would be a good idea to go to this place for lunch. The food was good but I was deeply concerned and disgusted that all the tables were dirty! With Covid19 circulating around you would think they would be cleaning way more! We watched the staff to see if they would move to clean tables, but the tables remained dirty for the duration of our stay which was about 30 minutes. It does NOT take much effort to wipe down a table with disinfectant! I will not be returning. If they don't take cleanliness seriously right now with fear of COVID19, I doubt they'd be cleaning during regular flu season. read more

There are tabs at the top of the screen with different sections of the menu like bowls, vegan, beverages, sides and desserts, alcohol etc. They have a few different vegan sushi rolls. They said that the swagger roll is the most popular vegan roll so I ordered that roll. It was big and only about eight dollars and it was yummy. They also have one kids meal option. The sushi rolls are not automatically served with wasabi, ginger, and a bowl for the soy sauce, but if you request them they have all those things for free.It was a fun and quick place to stop on our way out of town and I would definitely like to go back again to try the other vegan rolls. read more

This was a really interesting place. I am still intrigued by the way you order: Picking what you want from a touch screen, paying there (like an ATM) and they bring it out to you after. I was a little disappointed at the Thai food options. The options in general are pretty specific, especially with the rolls and the menu isn't that big. This was all about convenient healthy quality food. I explained I was new and a staff member came around to help me figure out the menu. It was super fun and new to me. We could take things off we didn't want. There were vegan and gluten free options too. We each got a roll and my toddler a side of rice. The highchair was clean along with our eating area.
