Watching the sushi roll by is very therapeutic. It's nice you just pay for what you eat since AYCE can feel like a trap when you don't finish everything. Everyone was nice here and I'll definitely be going back. I wish I lived closer because I was craving this the other day.

I was visiting for the weekend and we tried this place out. The conveyor belt sushi restaurants no longer exist in my area, so it was fun to do again. Their prices are very reasonable, the portions are large, and the fish was fresh. You can order specific conveyor belt offerings or order directly from their menu. I look forward to going again.

First time dining at Rotary Sushi. I was very much impressed with the freshness of the ingredients and the spot on flavors of the sushi. We ordered the vegetable tempura and a round of delicious miso soup to start us off. All very well prepared, but the star of the show was the never ending conveyor belt of fantastic sushi options. Let me also say, that for the amount of sushi and sides we ate, the price was surprisingly low. The wait staff and the chefs were very attentive and helpful. I'll definitely come back the next time I'm in town. What a local gem establishment.

I would not expect to have a nice sushi in Boise! But I guess I was wrong. Since it is the during the pandemic they sushi rotary thing does not work, but you can still somehow do single order from the menu. Usually when I have sushi, Nigiri is a way for me to see whether the restaurant knows what they are doing. Nigiri would show you how fresh the fish is, chef cutting skill and also how they do the rice. The service was good and fish was good too. The price is quite reasonable to be honest. Totally would love to visit again. Parking is easy! It is clean as well. Ps, saw some reviews saying sushi here is expensive. Seafood is something that you get what you pay for. A lot of sushi restaurant used frozen fish, and they have to u less they are near the coast, and still it would cost you a lot. I know some restaurants in Utah air shipping their seafood, and you would be looking at 100 dollars per meal for quality of food. Good food doesn't always have to be expensive but I think the price is fair for the quality that I got from this restaurant.

Service was on point, sushi chef Kevin is a cool guy to talk with. I got the Fire Paradise roll! Which do not get higher than a 3/5 hot level! I love super spicy stuff and man that was hot. If you want a spicy challenge get 5/5 if you think you are stronger enough! I definitely will be back because of my experience. Food quality was also really fresh! I will recommend this place to all my friends and family.

Simpler rolls are offered via conveyor belt but they are still great rolls with awesome flavor. Had a great time here!

Not amazing selection. Limited seating, and the price for a half roll was too high. Not worth the money and atmosphere was bad.

Are all plates on the rotary belt?

No, they were not as of July 1.

What is the price for all you can eat sushi?

Rotary Sushi does not have all you can eat. You either pay by the plate or can order custom rolls. They also often put custom plates on the rotary belt. The quality is great, even if the quantity is not unlimited.

If you are looking for the absolute WORST sushi experience in the entire Treasure Valley,…read morecongratulations, you found it. I have never dealt with such atrocious service & their Sushi was subpar at best & that's being generous. Right out of the gate, it was a total disaster. The waitress brought absolutely nothing to the table--no utensils, no ginger, no wasabi, nothing. You know, the standard basics that literally every other sushi joint on the planet drops off on autopilot? We had to literally request every single item just to physically eat our meal. Then came the food--or whatever you want to call it. I specifically asked if I could swap tuna for yellowtail and asked about getting what I actually liked instead of just settling for "chef's choice." They completely ignored me & brought the exact opposite of what I ordered. Nothing we got was correct. My guest ordered a lobster and fish roll, and they handed her a plate of literal, unidentifiable mush. There were no actual pieces of fish or lobster to be found anywhere in it. Just mush. And the scam they pulled with the ikura was unbelievable. I ordered two portions, which is supposed to be four pieces total, which again is commonly standard at any other Sushi restaurant. Instead, they brought out two pieces. When I pointed it out, the manager actually came over to our table to argue with me, insisting I was going to be charged full price for half the food. Literally $5ea for 1 piece of Sashimi that tasted like shit. Outside of the painfully incompetent service and the manager's garbage attitude, the fish had no flavor, They didn't even bring out all the food we ordered, but we were so fed up and disgusted by that point that we just paid the bill and walked out. I don't know if this is how they run their business every single day, but it was bad enough to warrant this warning. There are plenty of incredible sushi spots around here. Do not waste your time or your money at this absolute trainwreck of a restaurant. I guarantee I will never step foot in this place again.

We had a fantastic time at Tepanyaki Japanese Steak House! Chef Lam was the star of the show; his entertainment while prepping and cooking was top-notch and kept us smiling and laughing the whole time. As for the food, every single bite was flavored and cooked to perfection. The fried rice, vegetables, shrimp, scallops, chicken, and filet mignon were all outstanding. If you're looking for high-quality food at a reasonable price and that classic, high-energy hibachi experience, this is the place to be. We'll definitely be back!

The chicken came out pre cut into cubes and obviously pre cooked. Or at least par cooked. The shrimp looked pre cooked as well. Lots of talking but very little cooking at the table. Re-heated chicken is never good. The table next to us had the food started 20 minutes before us and kept going for at least 20 minutes after our chef was done. The steak was hard to chew and like I said the chicken was reheated. Too bad. Next time I will spend a little more $ and have something I want from the place on Fairview.

Most disappointing things is that I ordered the spicy dry noodle (what I always order) and it came with the sliced chashu pork vs the chopped pork, despite the online listing stating it is chopped pork (which is what it always was when I ordered it before). It's a small thing, but I don't like the sliced pork, it has a different texture than the chopped pork. So once again disappointed with this place.
