His tile installation included a curbless shower in the master bathroom, a tub surround in the hall bathroom, kitchen backsplash and flooring in all five rooms. He also coordinated with our hardwood flooring installer to ensure the flooring transitions would be flush and even with one another. It was important to us that the person bidding the job would be doing the work, which was the case with AJ. He was pleasant and easy to get along with, conscientious and customer focused, and very helpful and encouraging. He was a good communicator and followed through on all of his commitments. The quality of his work is excellent, and we are very happy with the end result. We highly recommend AJ and would definitely hire him again.

I am happy to be able to be the first to review Chuck Villa Tile. Chuck Villa has more than 30 years experience installing tile. Although he was involved in a big project when I first met him, I knew right away that he was the person I was looking for. This after sifting through a number of candidates online and meeting with two of them prior to Chuck. Chuck ended up spending the entire Memorial Day weekend installing my wife and my porcelain tile backsplash and floor tiles. Although it was a relatively small area, my wife and I had some specific requests that made the job a little more time consuming. In line with Murphy's Law, we also ended up having our water main replaced the same day that Chuck started our job necessitating him to bring a bunch of 5-gallon buckets to fill up with water for his tile saw. Chuck took all of this in stride and did an excellent job for a very reasonable price. And he is a very nice person also. As with other independent contractors having to juggle phone calls and estimates along with their jobs, I suspect that different people will have different experiences in regard to Chuck's response time to their calls and/or his availability to their tile job. If your priority is quality work at a reasonable price done by an experience contractor who you will feel comfortable having in your home, I don't think you will find a better person than Chuck Villa.

I needed some siding replaced, and Brandon was recommended by my fencing contractor. I could not…read morehave been happier with his skills and professionalism. My "simple siding problem" involved mold and rot on studs, floor joists, and plywood. The simple and efficient fix would be to replace the wall. I asked if there was a way to not sacrifice wainscoting, paneling, and wallpaper to remedy the problem. I really appreciate that Brandon and his crew are willing to work with the client and solve issues in a way that honors requests. How refreshing to have someone who really listens and tries to make things work out to the clients' satisfaction. I have found Brandon's pricing to be fair and competitive. Whatever he has promised, he will follow through. After completing the initial project, I hired Brandon and his crew for two additional projects within the year. One project was, again, siding issues with underlying mold and rot underneath the fireplace. Again, project was completed keeping my priorities in mind. The last project was the removal of a full roof over the patio. I was out of town when the job was done. When I returned, I expected to find remnants of the old structure, or some visible evidence, of the structure that had been attached to the outer wall. Amazingly, the wall looks pristine; no evidence that there was ever an attached roofline. I have never seen Brandon, or his crew, leave at the end of the day without cleaning up before they go. Likewise, at the end of the project he is fastidious in his clean-up. I have future projects to undertake and will definitely call Brandon at Flooded Timber to see if it's a job for him to pursue. It's streaked, thinly covered, and looks awful. We called Tomas, he finally responded and came, saw the work his employee had done, and agreed it needs to be redone. He set a time to come back and redo it . No one showed up. We called again, he said he forgot again to schedule it. He said he would schedule it to be redone but, again, no one ever showed up. He was extremely slow to respond and unreliable throughout. We paid him $2,400. for two jobs and he only completed one. We sent him a text and told him it is time to honor his promise to remove and redo the sealer, so we can move on. He never responded. Now, we will have to pay someone else to come and fix his poor work. He did an unacceptable job, acknowledged it, but refused, after being paid, to come back and make it right. Would we hire him again? Absolutely not!

However, this review focuses on my experience with interior demo work--specifically, a partial wall demo in our home. Overall, the project was completed as promised, and the results are good. We needed a wall removed to open up our space, and I was told that while WSC mainly advertises as more of an outside/siding work business, they can without a doubt take care of what I needed and was assured the work would be professional and look as if the wall was never there. They went through a lot of dedication to achieve this, despite our discontinued flooring requiring them to pull up and reuse flooring from another area of the home (our primary bedroom). They made sure that area was properly restored, understandably at an additional cost. That said, I feel there was a lack of attention to detail in many aspects of the work. While most issues I raised were eventually addressed, I reached a point where I didn't feel it should be my responsibility to catch and report quality issues. These included: * Poor wall texture in some areas. * Paint that didn't match. * Dings in the wall that were either left as-is or patched sloppily with silicone. * An outlet that does not sit flush against the wall. * A noticeable line on the wall where the paint job was stopped abruptly. I will add that the splotchy paint job on the baseboards was partly due to me providing the wrong paint can when worker B asked for it, as I recall being informed by worker A that it was that can of paint. However, when I eventually called to address my concerns about the mismatched paint, the response I received by worker B was that he is "not a professional painter." I found this response unprofessional, especially considering I was paying for a professional job. It also felt like there was a lack of experience overall given the young age of most of the workers. Even guests have pointed out imperfections, and when I showed the work to a coworker with a background in general contracting, she was appalled by the quality--especially considering this was done by a professional company. I understand that with reno jobs, there is coordination to be done with multiple specialists (demo, drywall, texture, electrical) and they may come from diff companies, but the work performed by these contractors reflects directly on WSC and their standards. Additionally, I was told I would receive a closing form summarizing the warranty for their work via email, but I never received it --even though the job was completed summer of '24, around July or August. On the positive side, the space has improved significantly. The wall is no longer an issue, and the home feels more open and functional. However, the lack of attention to detail left us with several things to fix on our own, despite paying thousands for the project. While WSC seems to excel in siding (as reflected in their reviews), I would recommend looking elsewhere for interior renovation work if attention to detail is important to you.

I had already gotten 3 quotes including those who said my idea was not going to work etc. and tried to give me other ideas, but it wasn't going to work for our budget. Jeronimo made my vision happen. The finished work on our paver patio looks awesome! He and his crew are incredibly hard working. Work was mostly done on the weekend, but there were times they agreed to come during the week to get ahead of the rains. Despite some really bad weather, they met our deadline! Our quote was for labor only (we procured materials separately according to what the crew needed), but still worked out great. It was a pleasure working with them. I highly recommend and hope to use Josue Landscaping in the future.
