BUT, alas, here I am. 5 stars, but you knew that already, given the non-stop 5 star reviews that he has. And let me tell you, he earns every single one of those 5 stars in every single 5 star review, including this 5 star review. Rafael is professional, meticulous, friendly, respectful, and really does go above and beyond. It's great when you find someone that is a masterclass of their craft. It's good when you find someone that is competitively priced. It's nice when you find someone that genuinely CARES about their clientele and want their clientele to be 110% satisfied. It's AMAZING when you find a combination of all three. Seriously, you need tile work? Please, don't look anymore. You won't get better than Rafael. Book him. Be prepared to have your socks knocked off. If you don't believe me, well, then, believe my pictures. They speak for themselves. We got counter to ceiling herringbone in a ceramic 2x8 tile - not exactly a walk in the park, and a skill that definitely takes years to master.

And then finally today he finished the tile in our hallway bath and that was both the floor and the shower I will attach pictures. Nick is our go to person for all tile projects and we won't use anyone else. he is professional, gives you an accurate estimate ahead of time, includes you to make all decisions that need to be made and he gives you all the knowledge that you need to make those decisions and he gives you a competitive price. He explained to us how to choose the best tile and what might happen if we don't. We just finished phase 1 of our project, tiling our family room, master bedroom and bath, and living room. Nick would always arrive when he said he was coming, was respectful of our home, discussed any decisions that had to be made explaining our options and any downsides, and best of all did a fantastic job installing our tile. The craftsmanship cannot be beat. I would trust Nick to install any tile that you have anywhere in your home. You will not be disappointed. We begin phase 2 next week and then we loved it so much we have ordered more tile for a phase 3 after that.

We went a different direction with the job, so this review cannot speak to their work. But I felt the need to leave them a review because of the professionalism of their communication. Stephanie was easy to get a hold of, pleasant to interact with and knowledgeable about their craft. She and Antonio had plenty of helpful suggestions for the project upon seeing the work site, and offered options as to how we could complete certain aspects of the project. It should also be noted, Stephanie was one of the few who distinctly followed up on the job. While it was easier to use a different provider in this case, we will certainly include Modern Tile in the running for future quotes and jobs.
