The quality of his work speaks for itself. Mike is meticulous with his tile work and clearly takes a lot of pride in getting the details right. He's also a licensed general contractor, which made a real difference on projects this involved. He understands everything that needs to happen behind the finished surfaces, not just what you see at the end. He was dependable, straightforward, and genuinely easy to work with throughout both projects. When someone is working in your home for an extended period of time, that matters just as much as the finished product. We've trusted Mike with two substantial remodels and wouldn't hesitate to call him again. Great craftsman and a good guy. Absolutely recommend him.

BUT, alas, here I am. 5 stars, but you knew that already, given the non-stop 5 star reviews that he has. And let me tell you, he earns every single one of those 5 stars in every single 5 star review, including this 5 star review. Rafael is professional, meticulous, friendly, respectful, and really does go above and beyond. It's great when you find someone that is a masterclass of their craft. It's good when you find someone that is competitively priced. It's nice when you find someone that genuinely CARES about their clientele and want their clientele to be 110% satisfied. It's AMAZING when you find a combination of all three. Seriously, you need tile work? Please, don't look anymore. You won't get better than Rafael. Book him. Be prepared to have your socks knocked off. If you don't believe me, well, then, believe my pictures. They speak for themselves. Then he did the tile in our guest bath both on the floor and for the shower. He explained to us how to choose the best tile and what might happen if we don't. We just finished phase 1 of our project, tiling our family room, master bedroom and bath, and living room. The craftsmanship cannot be beat. I would trust Nick to install any tile that you have anywhere in your home. You will not be disappointed. We went a different direction with the job, so this review cannot speak to their work. But I felt the need to leave them a review because of the professionalism of their communication. Stephanie was easy to get a hold of, pleasant to interact with and knowledgeable about their craft. She and Antonio had plenty of helpful suggestions for the project upon seeing the work site, and offered options as to how we could complete certain aspects of the project. It should also be noted, Stephanie was one of the few who distinctly followed up on the job. While it was easier to use a different provider in this case, we will certainly include Modern Tile in the running for future quotes and jobs.

Levels and lasers used in every step to make sure it's 100% square/ level! Sergio is also a general contractor so he's a one stop shop.
