I had the best experience today with Donald, who helped me out with a number of projects around the house including fixing a door handle (that I expected to need to replace), fixing a sliding cabinet and patching another cabinet with some damage, hanging a picture, mounting a toilet paper roll holder, and changing out all 10 of our smoke detectors. I received 3-4 responses on estimates where prices ranged where one was televiewers as much and Handy Hudson was the most reasonable and his availability was a lot sooner than having to wait another week or two. He allowed a couple of hours window and he was right on time. CALL DONALD FIRST 616-915-4799. I contacted 4 handyman to install 7 new smoke detectors. Donald charges by the hour. The others charged a flat fee assuming 3 hours of time. Took Donald 1 hour to install detectors, plus diagnosed leaky faucets in the bathroom. Now I will purchase new kitchen and bath faucets for him to install.
