I even texted Jaclyn beforehand that I was coming by that location which she never replied. To my surprise, it's just an empty building, their business was nowhere to be found. I was told by the business owner next door that it's been unoccupied for at least over a year. I don't know what to say at this point. I feel like this is a new level of dishonesty that I obviously did not expect to meet. I leaned my lesson the hard way. Don't make the same mistake. Avoid this business at all cost.

However, as I'm putting more mileage on this car and the maintenance cost is getting higher, I decided to look for an alternative solution. This place was among the first that popped up when I first searched on Google for mechanics in my neighborhood. I tried to stop by a few times over the weekend to check it out in person but it was closed. I finally called in during the week and talked with Jaclyn. I dropped my car the next day in the morning and they found a coolant leak. I was happy with the quote they gave me. If you work for one of these big Bay Area companies, they offer you an additional discount. They provide a 2 year warranty for their service as well as drop off/pick-up services. If I remember correctly she also offered a loaner but I didn't take it. My car was ready the same day around 4pm. They treated me with a bottle of wine at the end which was nice! I hope I don't have to go back there again. But if my car breaks again this place is gonna be my first pick.

I've used Wolfe's for my Passat on and off for the past 7 years and generally had good experiences…read more However, back in December 2024, I had some work done here, and during a recent oil change I performed myself, I noticed the plastic splash shield under the car was missing. I called to ask about it, and they said they weren't sure what happened -- and added that they shouldn't have needed to remove the shield in the first place. The part is only about $100 (plus a $38 bolt kit), but it doesn't just fall off, and I know for sure it was on the car when I dropped it off. While mistakes can happen, this one wasn't caught or communicated -- and now I'm left replacing a part that shouldn't have been touched. Bottom line: inspect the work and make sure all your parts are still there afterward. Wolfe's had a good track record with me before, but unfortunately, I can't come back after this.

He has a great setup and works without wasting a minute at work. His charges are pretty reasonable and you feel happy to pay for his services as his work and results are very good. They welded on some brackets to mount a new sway bar, and also installed some SPC aftermarket upper control arms. They also fabricated some new steering bump stops for my aftermarket spindles, and fixed an issue with the power steering lines that were causing my steering pump to whine. I've had my Trans Am for over 10 years and have struggled to find a quality shop near San Jose that I could trust with my car and my $s. I am very impressed with how well this new shop was run by Jason. The mechanic Nelson is an excellent, very experienced mechanic who had some great ideas on how to improve my classic car that no other shops had suggested. Jason also kept me constantly updated with pictures of the work on my car as it was performed, and immediately responded to any questions I had along the way.
