My brand new Audi, less than a year old was rear ended. I took it into A Superior, and Alfonso gave me an accurate estimate and assured me the car would be put back "like it never happened". I'm a Ship-of-Theseus purist. One thing changes and it's a different ship. A Superior was able to make my car brand new again. They kept me up to date the entire time and worked well with the insurance company. I recently brought my Porsche 911 to A Superior Collision after someone backed into my bumper. The damage was relatively minor and, having had bad experiences with body shops in the past, I debated whether to even get the bumper fixed. I visited three Porsche-certified shops and A Superior Collision's pricing was within the range of the others, but what really stood out was their adherence to proper Porsche procedures. The other shops I went to may have also had a similar level of adherence, but only A Superior Collision walked me through exactly what those procedures were and what Porsche would do after the rear bumper was fixed and resprayed. I went with A Superior Collision and I'm really glad I did. They worked with my insurance company to resolve the insurance company's low estimate, the repairs were done efficiently, they communicated every step of the way, and the quality was outstanding. I'm extremely picky and couldn't tell there was any prior damage. The paint was a perfect match. My only hesitancy initially with A Superior was that even though they are Porsche certified, I did not seeing any reviews from 911 owners on their Yelp page. This shop called 4-5 times pushing us to get the car in for repairs, then took six weeks to finish. Why would they keep calling to get the car in if they were going to take 6 weeks? The work itself: the rear bumper cover does not appear to be solidly attached near the drivers side wheel. There is a large gap between the quarter panel and bumper cover and misalignment is highly visible. The only reason they get two instead of one star is they did manage to get me four new wheels. Communication was poor through out. Overall, I am extremely disappointed with the work performed and customer experience. read more

I dropped off my Tesla 3 at Superior on April 10, 2024 and get a quote of $4275.53 for the loose front bumper & rubber lining which came off and had been dragged on the road for about 10 minutes driving. Never heard from the shop for 18 days. I called Monday 4/29/24 to check the status of my repair; the receptionist told me someone will get back to me by end of the day... I never got a follow-up phone call from Superior Collison. I called again today, Tuesday 4/30 at 11:50am; here is the answer from Tee 1) the front bumper had already been taken apart 2) they don't know how long it will take Tesla to supply them the parts once I provide my authorization 3) Tee said he would have called me this afternoon if I didn't call them. 4) the final repair comes to $7500 or few dollars less. (final cost is $7260.94 , some labor discount in the confirmation email for me to authorize the repair) My problem is: - 18 days without followed-up?? - once the car is dis-assembled, I have no choice but to proceed with the repair at the shop. Had to get the right side of my new truck repaired after getting scraped along the right side, including wheels. Jeff helped me out and walked me through each step. He dealt with the insurance company so I didn't have to. When an additional minor spot was identified by Chris, he was quick to call and review options to fix it. All in all, my truck looks new again and I'm very happy with it! Every time I've gone to other shops, I've been cheated or experienced an inflated price based on my unfamiliarity with the process and/or cost. I rated this shop with one star because they lied to me and said that I was trying to take advantage of them. My story started when the side of my 2011 Prius got badly dented by a hit-and-run car in the parking lot last December. The insurance website recommended a few shops. I went to this one because it had the highest ratings. When I got there, Jesse looked over the damage and gave me an estimate and said it would take approximately 3 weeks to repair. He also noticed my front bumper was damaged and taped up. He said they could also repair/replace the bumper at a reduced cost if I do that at at the same time. I told him the tape was for keeping the cover under the bumper from falling down. I agreed to do that work as well. Jesse said both jobs would be done at the same time. This was a few days after Christmas last year. About 3 days before I was supposed to pick up the car in January, Tim, the owner, gave me a call and said the replacement bumper still hasn't arrived at the shop. He was surprised that Jesse told me a 3 week estimated date of completion. He then sent me an email with a 6 week completion date! Long story short, I picked up the car about a week before the 6 week deadline and ~$150 extra in cost for the front bumper. Everything looked fine, but within one hour of driving out of the shop, the cover under the front bumper fell down! This was on the freeway no less. I called and left a voicemail then called them on Monday after I didn't get a call back. Tim was apologetic and offered to do the repairs of the cover at no cost to me, which I accepted. But the story isn't over. When I picked up the car again, I heard a noise that I haven't heard before. It was subtle but sounded like two pieces of plastic under the car banging against each other. I didn't want to bring this back to the shop without being sure it's reproducible. After a week, I was sure the noise is real and brought the car back. Jesse rode in the car with me and heard the noise too. He then looked under the car and told me the covers were secure and are not the source of the noise. I then took the car to the Toyota dealership. The service agent there took one look under the car and told me, and showed me, the loose covers under the front bumper that were causing the noise. See photos. So Jesse either lied to me when he saw the loose covers and said they were secure, or he was too careless to take more than 2 seconds to examine the covers. I called Jesse back and told him what I found out and asked that he repair the covers again, and that I am willing to pay for any new parts needed. That's when he told me he feels I was trying to take advantage of them, when I was the one lied to. This story does have a happy ending. I took my car to House of Miracles in Cupertino, and they added the missing clips to the covers at no charge. Problem solved. I highly recommend them for your body shop needs. read more

A long scratch on the side of my Model 3 (across 3 panels) needed to be fixed. (It was keyed.) T gave a reasonable estimate of around $2,000 in July and it would take a week. When I brought it back, T then said it could take up to 3 weeks because they were busy. Didn't hear anything from them so I called back after two weeks to see when to pick up my car. I was told that they'd taken the car apart and that it would cost $8,000 to fix the scratch. My car was disassembled and the price had quadrupled! Long story, short. When it was all over, it was $9K of work (They initially estimated $2K). It took over six weeks (They'd said one week then up to three weeks). It took over twice as long as their worst estimate. I hope this review saves others from a terrible experience like this. read more

I checked their Yelp page and they had great reviews so I decided to go with them for my car repairs. They were very professional and helpful throughout the whole process. The front desk employee Francesca was very nice and helpful with scheduling appointments and making sure all paperwork was completed. My service advisor Jessie R., gave me a preliminary estimate by doing a walk through examination of the car. They will then do a deeper dive if you decide to choose them as your repair shop for any other underlying issues. Once I decided to chose them, it was about 2 weeks to get the repair completed. They sent constant text updates informing me of the progress which I liked. Jessie was great in explaining all the damages and the repairs that were going to be needed. They took care of all the correspondence and billing with my insurance company which was nice. They did a great job with the repairs and washed/waxed my car nicely before I picked it up. STEER CLEAR of A Superior Collision Shop! It was a huge mistake, choosing this place. It was the absolute WORST car repair experience I've had in my 30 years of driving. I came in for a damaged rear bumper on my Golf. They told me it would take a few weeks to fix, given the parts shortages, etc. Instead, it took them TWO (2) WHOLE MONTHS, literally. I asked for a loaner because, obviously, for a family, it's a logistical nightmare to live in the South Bay with one car. They refused to give me a loaner. So, we spent a bunch of money on Uber and on a rental during the two months I didn't have my Golf, which A Superior Collision Shop was supposed to be repairing. When I finally lost my patience, I told them they needed to reimburse two months of my car payments because they'd held on to my Golf so much longer than originally planned, which caused lots of unexpected expenses and major inconveniences. I said if they didn't, I'd be leaving scathing reviews wherever I could, which is what I'm doing. In response, the owner called me on the phone and was super rude to me. Toward the end of the conversation, he said I had to decide whether I wanted them to finish the repairs or stop them, in which case they would return the vehicle to me unfinished. Of course, that would have created problems with my insurance and even more headaches and delays because the car wouldn't have been drivable. Obviously, he knew he had me where he wanted because I was out of options. I had no choice but to agree to let them finish the repairs. According to the shop, the repairs took so long because they had to send the car to the dealership several times. No one informed me when I was getting the estimate and dropping off the car two months earlier about the shop's inability to fix the bumper in-house. I don't remember anyone telling me they'd have to run the car to the dealer multiple times. When I inquired and eventually complained, of course, the shop blamed everything on the dealership. The initial estimate seemed reasonable (I am no expert on cars). They warned me the cost might go up if they found more damage. The money they ended up charging my insurance is about 7-8k over the original estimate. I wouldn't care about that because I'm not paying that -- if they had at least accommodated my request for a loaner. What I'm about to say is not in any way legally valid: I can't prove this was a scam, nor am I going to try because I have no time or energy for that, but I do have a nagging sensation I got taken advantage of. Today, I picked up my car. There were over 1500 miles more on the odometer than there were when I dropped the car off these two long months ago, according to the shop's own paperwork. I asked them to email me a photo proving they didn't put those extra miles on my car. They did, but I have no idea if I can believe that time stamp. It looks like something I could have photoshopped. The cherry on the cake? They gave me the car back with my FasTrak missing, so we had to spend more time on hold and pay more money to get it replaced. Who did A Superior Collision Shop blame? Correct -- the dealership. Conclusion: stay away from A Superior Collision Shop, learn from my mistake. read more

They said they found $12,000 more dollars damage so they totaled it...The car was totally drivable but instead of calling us so we could drive home they totaled it and said your insurance Company will give you $8,000...Carvana would have given us $15,000?...it was still in good running condition and they totaled it without our permission.
