We've always serviced our 2008 BMW 535xi at the dealership. It has very low mileage so when it started running less smoothly than usual, I made an appointment & dropped it off at the dealership. The next afternoon I received a very lengthy text from my service manager, with the service tech's findings - a transmission leak and ruined wires on the low pressure fuel pump. The excessive repair quote shocked me into a search for a second opinion. When I read all of the great reviews DFW Bimmer has on numerous different websites, I decided to contact them. Since it was after hours, I filled out the online contact form and included the dealership's "findings". The very next morning I received a phone call from Albert at DFW Bimmer. During our conversation I learned of their extensive experience with BMW's and when he provided a lower quote for the same work, I decided to send my car to them, even though the logistics would be tricky for us due to distance. Since the car was still at the dealership, and I couldn't make arrangements to drive it to DFW Bimmer myself, I used the tow company that Albert recommended. Although those arrangements made me nervous since I didn't know either company, Albert set my mind at ease and assured me that he'd take good care of me. The next business morning, I received a call from Albert, who had already looked over my car! To my shock, he explained that not only was there NO transmission leak, but that he could tell that the panel hadn't even been opened! The dealership hadn't even looked at it! He explained that "leak" was a trace of oil, likely from the last oil change as the mark left by the oil was not in the correct location of the vehicle to have come from the transmission. To be thorough, however, he then had opened the panel and the transmission was completely fine with absolutely no trace of leak. In addition, there were no wire issues with the low pressure fuel pump, it only had a faulty sensor. I am so completely grateful to DFW Bimmer for not only saving me over $2,000 but for being honest in what my vehicle truly needed. I am completely disgusted by the fact that a dealership would blatantly quote a customer for thousands of dollars of unnecessary repairs for parts that they didn't even look at! Although it is logistically tricky for me to get my car to/from DFW Bimmer due to distance, I will never take it anywhere else again. Thank you so very much DFW Bimmer for your honesty and integrity. So many other companies could learn so much from you. I didn't think it was possible but you've made a BMW even more enjoyable to own and drive. Jessie the owner is the best! He's very honest, straight forward, has great workers. I had him change out 4 coils and 4 spark plus last Friday. The very next day drivetrain malfunction came on again. Went back in today. Of course I was initially thinking it was something they didn't do right due how many bad situations I've had with getting cars fixed. He ran a check, came to find out it was 1of the fuel pumps, he had a good in the shop that he just gave and installed for free. Test drove the car, it was still running poorly. He then put the computer on it and reset everything so the computer would recognize the new pump he installed. Test drove it again, I still felt like it wasnt running as good prior to me 1st going in for the 4 coils and 4 spark plugs. He then went so far to order 4 more spark plugs and coils straight from bmw and installed them for no charge. As of now the car is running good, he is truly a blessing and by far the best mechanic/ owner I've ever dealt with. He is very understanding , and truly a professional! His whole staff is very nice and there not out to screw anyone over. Jessie went above and beyond to satisfy me and I will forever be greatful!! read more

Based upon previous reviews I elected to have work done on my BMW Z4 by Jesse and team at DFW Bimmer. It was an excellent experience and I was more than pleased with the results. Jesse was very straightforward in my first discussion with him regarding work I wanted/needed done. I was kept abreast of matters during the work process and work was performed in a timely manner. Quite frankly Jesse could have taken advantage of me for a concern I had with steering on my car as I was at his mercy so to speak, but he was honest and exhibited quite the integrity and saved me probably $1000 or more by taking a different action. Not many repair shops or dealers would have done that, especially for a first time Customer. He earned my trust and ongoing business. Another plus is Jesse has a lot of industry contacts for work he does not perform and I have utilized some of his sources and received top notch work as well from his recommendations. For the 6 years Jesse has maintained my 3 series, I found him to be honest, straight forward, fair and knowledgeable. Another important bonus ( for me) is that he loves and drives BMWs. So when I found an X3 that I liked on the DFW Bimmer lot, Jesse introduced me to Zed who heads their auto sales. I instantly got those same vibes from Zed as he took me and my wife through the quick and easy purchasing process. Both Zed and Jesse were very flexible and did not harass us or apply any pressure. They simply provided the same customer service and honesty that I have become accustomed to at DFW Bimmer Auto Maintenance. The funny thing is that if I had found my 2014 X3 at another location, I would have brought it to DFW Bimmer so Jesse can perform a pre-purchase inspection. Drove thru a puddle, not a river, just a puddle and my transmission went into safe mode. The Dealer said the transmission was bad and needed to be replaced for around seven grand. A little research on some BMW forums showed it to be a common occurrence for a sensor at the back of the transmission to get wet and short out and that it was uncommon that a zf dealer maintained fails at 80k miles. Maybe the dealer should get the internet? Sorry this is about Dfw Bimmer, back to that. Showed up with out calling and got the car looked at in minutes and a repair bill for 90 bucks. Problem solved in 30 minutes, went ahead and threw some other maintenance items since they earned my business. Great service and attitude, and price. Requested a quote via email for brake service (new pads, rotors, and sensors). Email was answered promptly with quote provided. I scheduled the appointment for a Thursday. I dropped the car off on Thursday morning, and by Thursday afternoon the car was good to go. All the work was completed, and they did a fantastic job. Their price was much cheaper than the dealership, and their quality of work was just the same if not better. This is 2nd time I have had our vehicle serviced here, and both times it has been a very good experience. Jesse and his crew are life savers. I first brought the car in after dealership had given me a "to do" list -with a hefty price tag- to get rid of a warning light... yeah right! Great people to deal with. Previously brought my BMW there to reset faulty message about bad breaks. Guys did it for free and explained how to do it myself. Breaks were almost brand new and BMW didn't reset sensors on them. Had my wife's MINI there for clutch problems. Not only did they replaced clutch but resurfaced parts that were heated up. Did do the traditional BMW dealership way and replaced everything at 3 times the cost. My nearest BMW is BMW of Arlington (Moritz). Stay away !!! Place is a mess. First class shop. A/C on 2019 5 series quit working. Took car to 3 other shops and they just said take it to the dealer. I found DFW Bimmer, spoke with Jesse on the phone. I have been a regular client ever since I found out about DFW Bimmer. I find their prices for labor and parts less than the dealership. I have taken it in for several items, oil changes, & my 60k service. Yesterday, I took my 328i in thinking I had a battery issue that was making my door locks intermittent. Awesome service. Awesome people. Got a next day appointment when I called. I needed to replace the cup holder assembly on my 2013 BMW X6. The dealer quoted me $2800. It is a big job, gotta take out the front seat center console. I went online and found the cup holder component, $90. BMW Bimmer installed it for $450. A nice $2260 savings and I dropped it off at 0800 and picked up it up same day at 1130. read more

Happy to have found a competent independent BMW repair shop. I was dreading taking my 2012 550i in for service. The Drive Train Malfunction message would come on and the car would go into limp mode randomly. It was diagnosed as an ignition coil. Very inexpensive compared to the dealer to fix. He even got me in and out within 4 hours. This will be my new service home for the car. read more
