    Tuesday I arrived at 8:40, car got taken at 8:48... it is currently 11:42 still no car... FOR AN OIL CHANGE. After the 2.5 hour mark I go into the service garage and ask where my car is... Curtiss looks at me confused and says we still have to find the Oil guy..... After wasting my whole morning/afternoon I was offered a free oil change to make up for it. Roughly a month later I'm back due to a recalled part and was help by Matt. Off the start I could tell Matt woke up on the wrong side of the bed by the tone / way he talked to me. I was offered a ride in the shuttle van because he wasn't sure how long it would take. He told me to go have a seat in the waiting room and he'll have the driver get me when they are back. I've now seen the shuttle van leave twice. They have dropped off two people who have been here shorter than me... If you're a college student / young adult you most likely will be taken advantage of, not treated with full respect or just straight up ignored.

    called about recalls on truck. it went to text. no response…read more set up warranty work online. later I called about a tonneau cover install, they again asked to text. asked my question about tonneau. no response two hours later, texted are you there, going to answer my question they called me 30 minutes later. asked the recalls and tonneau cover install, was told they do not do it on weekends. when I arrived, the service mgr said the recall would take an extra 20 minutes, ok I said then walked to parts and asked if a tonneau cover could be installed, was told yes. I said maybe next time. on Sunday I sent an internal complain, no response sent another complaint on Tuesday. as of today I have not heard from Wilson Toyota was considering a Land Cruiser or Sienna for my wife. am thinking not now.

They even identified that a fog light was out and needed to order the part. All would be covered by warranty. Because we live 70 miles away it took a while to schedule the follow up visit. But, we were able to do so in a couple of weeks. The next service appointment could not have been worse. Check in went fine but I failed to get an estimate of the expected completion time. After two hours I checked to see if it was done. THEY HAD NOT STARTED. And, the fog light replacement is a 4-hour job as the whole bumper must come off. While the time to repair is understandable the lack of communication and the scheduling of an appointment when they did not have capacity to work on it is NOT! Having commitments to be home within 7 hours of leaving, I had to take back the truck and reschedule. The poor service has so far cost me a day of my life and $30 in gas. And, I still have to try again.

My fiancé (who is a doctor) took her new vehicle in to get a flat tire replaced. One of the service reps, who was a complete moron - and I'm not sure he could read Green Eggs and Ham if you paid him - assumed she didn't know what she was talking about because she was a woman. She explained that the tires were covered by warranty (they are), and he insisted they were not, and refused to read the lease paperwork. After he continued to be a complete mouth-breathing idiot, and my fiancé told him for the third time just to read the paperwork and quit acting like an imbecile, he did, and found that the tires were covered by warranty. He then claimed he contacted "the warranty people" and spoke to us like a drunken toddler, and that he never heard back from them, so he charged us for the tire replacement. I don't believe he ever contacted them, and probably never intended to. He was rude, lazy, and a misogynistic oaf. Thankfully the dealership where we originally leased the vehicle from actually cares about customers and reimbursed us when we explained this situation. Sadly, like many businesses in Ames, these baboons do not build a customer base due to good performance. They bank on you having no other options due it being a college town, and they will do the bare minimum at *best*. Do not come here. It may be more inconvenient time-wise, but go out of town if you want service that is worth paying for. Take your business elsewhere.

    This was, without exaggeration, one of the worst car-buying experiences I've ever had…read more We purchased a vehicle for our teenage daughter and specifically discussed the radio system -- Bluetooth, satellite, CD player, navigation -- all of it. At no point did anyone disclose that the speakers do not work at all. Not "a little static." Not "needs adjusting." Completely nonfunctional. The screen lights up, the navigation powers on -- but there is zero sound. We didn't discover this during the test drive because we were listening to the engine and how the vehicle handled. That omission feels intentional. After discovering the issue, I called the dealership every single day for four days straight. Each time I was told someone would call me back. No one did. Not once. Being ignored after you've signed paperwork tells you exactly what kind of customer service this place actually provides. To make matters worse, while trying to figure out what kind of people we had just trusted, I opened Facebook and saw our salesperson's face listed on the Polk County Jail inmate page. That was truly the icing on the cake. After already feeling misled, that discovery did nothing to restore confidence. I feel scammed. I feel dismissed. And I feel like transparency completely disappeared the moment the sale was complete. If you value honesty, disclosure, and follow-through -- I would strongly encourage you to look elsewhere
