THANK YOU for opening a Dewey's on the Illinois side! I'm so happy I don't have to drive into Missouri to have one of my favorite pizzas. I was a little apprehensive because I wasn't sure it would taste the same as the one in St. Charles. It was just as good as I remember it being! It was extremely busy (came in at 5pm on Friday. Service was awesome and quick. I love that the managers were working just as hard as the server/runner staff. I had the Green Lantern gluten free pizza and the hubby had the Edgar Allen Poe (minus the olives, added meatballs). My GF pizza was so delicious! The crust was flavorful just as I remember it. Went here for lunch specifically to check out their salads and I was not disappointed. The place was easy to get to, tons of parking, clean, courteous and attentive staff, and the salad was fresh, tasty and good. Had the seasonal Italian salad with salami, cheese, nuts, tomatoes, arugula and lettuce. The dressing was creamy and light and not over dressed. They even have a military discount. Score! Great place that offers a large selection of craft beer with their craft pizza. There's always something interesting to try even if you don't end up loving every one of them. At least the unpronounceable names are always interesting. There's usually a small viewership at the window where you can watch your pizza being tossed and twirled and loaded up... Every time we have guests, it's one of the must-go places. We also like it as an occasional hangout place with friends. The office likes it for going aways. While not great for large crowds it's ok for up to about 8-10. read more

Walked over here from my hotel while in town for business. Everything was delicious. I had the side portion of the seasonal beet salad and an 11" pizza. It was super cool that I could choose 1/2 and 1/2 for the pizza because I couldn't decide what I really wanted. But what I was most impressed with was the service. We all loved it!!! Starting with the invitation from Stephanie to our greeting at the door our anticipation was high to enjoy Dewey's soft opening to try before they open next week. We are a large party of 8 and Stephanie assured us they'd have room for us all, they did. There were handy placards on the table letting us know that pizza, calzones, salad, and drinks were complimentary. The attention to our party and everyone else's in the establishment was second to none, we were well attended too. It took us a while to order due to being unfamiliar with the menu which was clear and easy to understand, we just couldn't decide. The atmosphere was pleasant and friendly, my younger children enjoyed interacting with the cook staff as they were making pizzas and calzones behind a large glass window. It was busy, but the staff made you feel that you weren't going to be forgotten and you never had to ask for a refill on your drinks. Kylie and Mariah were our servers and Justin the general manager were all close by to help with any questions or needs. There were small questionnaires for us to answer and a couple of questions to ask our server which she answered perfectly, we understand that this is Kylie's first serving job, you can't tell! You have a star in her! As you can tell we have plenty of leftovers, and we are stuffed to the gills! Lunch tomorrow! Of course we all love free pizza, and it wouldn't be hard to win over the public with a great occasion like this. They went above and beyond to earn our return business and they have it. 5 stars for me. I have no complaints. Pizza was the best I've had since moving to this area. They have lots of options but ultimately I chose the don corleone and Hawaiian pizza. Yes pineapple does go on pizza. It was not mushy at all. It it was everything I was looking for. The staff was really cool and helpful. They are all kinda a hipster/trendy. Inside I like the theme where you can watch your pizza being made behind a glass. A little on the pricey side but you get what you pay for and for me once in a while isn't a bad thing. We have also had the Don Corleone (which is my favorite, and I highly recommend for meat lovers), and the meatball pizza which was good, but not my favorite.
