    CANDIED WALNUT & GRAPE salad

In town for a pickleball tournament, our group of 22 found our way to this Dewey's location on Saturday night and were pleased with our experience. We called ahead and were able to sit down upon arrival - one table for adults and another for the kids. We ordered a variety of drinks, salads and pizzas for the group and shared. Everything was delicious! When the kids dropped some of their pizza on the floor accidentally, our server, Jason, brought a replacement pizza. Dewey's offers a fun, casual vibe with attentive and quick service and excellent food. There is plenty of parking in the street and neighboring lot as well. My only complaints: there is no eggplant topping option and the menu is pretty limited. Even so, it was definitely a five star experience. I would absolutely return on future visits to STL.

Dewey's pizza night. Meeting friends for some pizza and beer. It has been a while since we have been at Webster Groves' Dewey's. The menu is lengthy with offerings from speciality pizzas ,calzones and salads. Large selection of toppings to choose from if you want your own style pizza. We (my spouse and I) wanted the Porky Fig but the sauce now has garlic in it. Garlic is a no-no for my spouse. We opted to share the Caprese pizza and I love their house salad and I ordered a half house with refreshing balsamic vinaigrette The summer strawberry poppyseed salad is awesome but they were out of some of the ingredients so we did not get to split the summer special salad. The atmosphere is bright and cheery seating is ample but they get busy fast and tables become scarce. Our food was fantastic fresh crust just the right kind of crispness. Melt in your mouth awesomeness. I was giving this review a 4 at first but given the "We can't control everything aspect I am changing it to a 5. We had ordered a pizza that the sauce changed ,the salad ingredients were out and my beer was warm (new keg) right before bringing it out. The server was courteous and professional. She told the manager and before we left the manager presented a gift card for our troubles. Smart management. Dewey's proved they care for their guests and back it up with pride. Definitely visit Dewey's for a great experience. We will try the Hampton concept Dewey's. It is within walking distance of our house and I will review at a later date.

The food was amazing and the waitress was very nice! They easily split the check for me and my friend and let us have a half-and-half pizza. They had a nice restaurant and a great vibe! My experience at Dewey's was great!

nice, small place with good service! The pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved their ranch. Also nice that they let you split the pizza and get two different kinds. Highly recommend!

SOCRATES' REVENGE & EDGAR ALLAN POE. Specialty pizzas and we were able to get 1/2 & 1/2.

It's upscale pizza with toppings that are unique. I had the pork fig which was great. Carmelized onions fig jam, prosciutto, and Gorgonzola cheese were some of the ingredients. Worked very well together. You can watch them tossing and creating pizzas which keeps the kids occupied. Fresh dough and fresh ingredients on the pizza and salads. Good selection of beers on tap and wine. It's pizza and salad. They keep it simple and do a good job getting the food out. Similar to Katie's but the dough is lighter and chewier where Katie's is thinner and has a crunch. Service was very good and it seems like the servers work as a team taking care of whatever the customers need.

    Yukon Cornelius. Very tasty

Pizza is always great. Tonight I had the Yukon Cornelius. crust was perfect. Yukon potatoes , bacon , onions and a sour cream topping. Service was great as well

Great pizza in Webster! We got 2 pizzas and a Caesar salad for takeout - they were ready right on time which was great from a service standpoint! The Porky Fig pizza was super good, base of fig jam tasted fresh and it seemed like a perfect amount of cheese. The prosciutto on top added a great salty taste and balanced out the pizza well. We also got the Don Corleone which had some different sliced meats, totally covered the pizza which was great! The crust of the slices were good as well, not too hard. The Caesar salad was just okay, I guess your standard Caesar haha - I was just surprised at the portion vs the price. Overall, this is a nice spot to take family or friends and they offer half half pizzas so you can mix and match easily!

DEWEY DECIMAL SYSTEM! This place sets a new standard for the pizza industry. Perfect crust, soft and puffy. The customer will taste each ingredient with every bite. You don't "Build-your-own-pizza" here. You choose from one of the impeccable specialty pizzas, which were once carefully crafted in Sir Dewey's kitchen laboratory. Each selection so different from the next, yet none have failed my senses. Ryan's Inferno leads the pack amongst their vast creations. Adding the Celery, Onion, and Ranch after the bake changes the infrastructure of the pie. ***The creativity, consistency, and customer service will always exceed expectations. That's what make Dewey's special***

What size pizza should I order for two adults and a child (2 year old)?

17" is for sure the best value, but a 13" is enough food!

The butternut pasta was a perfect balance of savory and sweet, and way more filling than the portion size makes it look. The goat cheese pizza with arugula and bacon was SO good, and their pear pizza with prosciutto is personally my favorite thing on the menu. Our waitress was super friendly. I had my first dinner of my stay at Olive + Oak, and it blew me away from the moment I laid my eyes on it. From the unsuspecting street outside, the giant windows glow with the warm, sparkling light from within. An elegant dining room with a beautiful bar and a good amount of hustle and bustle. I felt like I was at an upscale New Orleans joint. Very cozy. Service was just as beautiful. Our server was extremely nice, new the menu backwards and forwards, and rattled off the nightly specials without hesitation. And on top of all of that, when we were getting some stuff to-go, she threw in more bread for us! You can't train that level of service. That's just a good person. Onto the food. We started off with the Blue Crab Gratin (calabrian chili, celery + pretzel bread). This was ooey, gooey, cheesy, delicious, had a fair amount of crab in it, had a nice little kick, and the sliced, crunchy pretzel bread dippers were exquisite. Something seasonal that isn't on their menu anymore, we ordered an Okonomiyaki, which is a savory Japanese pancake, basically, covered in sauce. Wow, this thing was done well. Very reminiscent of the authentic thing I've had in Japan. Very nice. Another dish that isn't on the menu anymore, the Catfish dish. It was slightly Asian and on top of some sort of risotto rice. I can't remember exactly, but I do remember that it was very well cooked, had a nice char. An eclectic dish that came together very nicely. I also got to try some of the Rabbit Crepe (port wine braised rabbit, blueberry, fennel, arugula + kenny's bleu gouda crepe). Some people might shudder at the idea of eating rabbit. Those people need to grow up. Rabbit is one of the most succulent, delicious meats out there, and in this wonderful flavor combination, in a crepe. This chef is genius. I could have downed two of these things. We finished off the night with the recommended Cloud Cake (vanilla chiffon cake, coconut pastry cream, coconut + whipped cream icing). This thing was de-ca-dent. A nice, thicc sponge, a very coconuty cream, and a whipped icing with lots of coconut pulp in it. So heavenly. Overall, my socks were blown off. Not only does St. Louis have good food, this was a better meal than I had in Nashville and Kansas City. Who would have guessed. I would love to come back.

I ordered the pasta special which was veal cannelloni and my lord it was so good. I wish it was on their regular menu. The cannelloni noodles were the perfect texture, and the veal filling was perfection. My brother ordered the Salmon piccata, which he orders each time he goes, so you know it's got to be good. Before discussing the food, let's talk about what's most important, and that's our waitress Eve. Our table of four had many questions regarding food as well as wine, and Eve had thoughts and recommendations for everything. Eve listened carefully to what we wanted and had appropriate and mindful suggestions. Eve knew all about the wines and helped us pair properly per plate. The rest of the staff that crossed paths with our table were kind and helpful as well. As for the food... the Truffle Agnolotti was as to die for! Omg. Amazing. Full of flavor yet not heavy.
