Ordered pick up on a Tuesday evening as a little treat. We ordered the 17 inch pepperoni pizza and the entree Caesar salad. The pizza was freshly out of the oven and the smell was intoxicating in the best way possible! The Caesar salad was a great size, the lettuce was fresh, nicely seasoned croutons and a good amount of parm. Overall we enjoyed our order. We ordered online and our order was ready a few minutes after our projected time. We checked with the hostess who was really nice. The restaurant is really nice and offers booth or table seating. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal from Dewey's. I had never been to this location but it was just good. Candied walnut and grape salad was a yummy start. For pizza we got half Socrates Revenge and 1/2 Hawaiian. Both were great. Service was good. This location also has the window onto the pizza kitchen but being in afternoon I didn't see the usual children lined up to watch while waiting to eat. read more

Always a solid experience! This review is for take out. I called and was told it would be about an hour. It was Sunday evening on a holiday weekend so the wait was expected. I arrived about 10 minutes early and was asked if I'd like a drink by the bartender. The staff was working so hard in the back- they were busy! Pie came out fresh and hot and was delicious. In town for a pickleball tournament, our group of 22 found our way to this Dewey's location on Saturday night and were pleased with our experience. We called ahead and were able to sit down upon arrival - one table for adults and another for the kids. We ordered a variety of drinks, salads and pizzas for the group and shared. Everything was delicious! When the kids dropped some of their pizza on the floor accidentally, our server, Jason, brought a replacement pizza. Dewey's offers a fun, casual vibe with attentive and quick service and excellent food. There is plenty of parking in the street and neighboring lot as well. My only complaints: there is no eggplant topping option and the menu is pretty limited. Even so, it was definitely a five star experience. Dewey's pizza night. Meeting friends for some pizza and beer. It has been a while since we have been at Webster Groves' Dewey's. The menu is lengthy with offerings from speciality pizzas ,calzones and salads. Large selection of toppings to choose from if you want your own style pizza. We (my spouse and I) wanted the Porky Fig but the sauce now has garlic in it. Garlic is a no-no for my spouse. We opted to share the Caprese pizza and I love their house salad and I ordered a half house with refreshing balsamic vinaigrette The summer strawberry poppyseed salad is awesome but they were out of some of the ingredients so we did not get to split the summer special salad. The atmosphere is bright and cheery seating is ample but they get busy fast and tables become scarce. Our food was fantastic fresh crust just the right kind of crispness. Melt in your mouth awesomeness. I was giving this review a 4 at first but given the "We can't control everything aspect I am changing it to a 5. We had ordered a pizza that the sauce changed ,the salad ingredients were out and my beer was warm (new keg) right before bringing it out. The server was courteous and professional. She told the manager and before we left the manager presented a gift card for our troubles. Smart management. Dewey's proved they care for their guests and back it up with pride. This was our first time at this Dewey's location and it was pretty busy even at 5pm. We were sat quickly though and our server was really attentive. We ordered a small pizza for the kids to split. I love that you can do half and half of any pizza even specialty. My husband and I split a half Hawaiian and half create your own (I chose chicken and Gorgonzola). AMAZING! Food and service were outstanding. My friend already wrote a wonderful review but I feel the need to write one myself. To start, the pizza is the BEST pizza we have ever had and I was sad when we didn't have a lot to bring home because I knew later I would want it as leftovers. The sauce is just a perfection, so light and flavorful and the porky pig had such a different but wonderful flavor making you want another piece before finishing the one you were eating. We went down to St Louis for our sons 10th birthday with my in laws, my parents and family friends. In total we had 8 adults and 11 children, ages 10 and under. The staff was just simply wonderful and entertaining. Our children had such a wonderful time experiencing the staff making pizza and the employees just kept them laughing and were engaging through the whole time. We did thankfully go around 3 o'clock and had the restaurant to ourselves but again what a wonderful experience and it left all of my children asking if we could go back the next day. 5 stars is not near enough for this location and will be planning to go out of our way just to go back to this Deweys! I'm a huge fan of both their seasonal pizzas and salads. Quality of food is always solid at Dewey's. Everything is fresh and flavorful. An added bonus is that you can get pizza as a half & half. Helps when my teenagers are feeling picky. I would also advise to try the calzone. The price is right and everyone at the table can get the toppings they love. Since Covid Dewey's has instituted curb side pick up and the ability to add your name to the waitlist. I am a huge fan of both! Great pizza in Webster! We got 2 pizzas and a Caesar salad for takeout - they were ready right on time which was great from a service standpoint! The Porky Fig pizza was super good, base of fig jam tasted fresh and it seemed like a perfect amount of cheese. The prosciutto on top added a great salty taste and balanced out the pizza well. We also got the Don Corleone which had some different sliced meats, totally covered the pizza which was great! The crust of the slices were good as well, not too hard. The Caesar salad was just okay, I guess your standard Caesar haha - I was just surprised at the portion vs the price. Our most recent order was much anticipated due to the return of the Tito Santana, a seasonal taco pizza. This time they forgot to include the lettuce and a side of the spicy ranch that normally accompany this pizza. Further, my pizza was cooked way past done on the bottom-notice the pic. Dewey's, we love you, but just not for pick up and carry out. Two things that attract me to Dewey's, is that they use Mozzarella Cheese and that they cut their pizza like a pie - no squares here. These simple things make me a fan. Coming here, I felt as if I was cheating on my regular Dewey's in Kirkwood. To be honest, I didn't realize one was closer to home. I noticed, there really isn't much difference. They both are family friendly and provide quality pizza and salads at affordable prices. I visited this location on a Thursday night. As a lone diner, I took to the bar so they could keep tables open for multiple diners. As I read over the menu, I enjoyed a craft draft beer. As I drank my, Mamoot Mild Ale, I questioned my bartender about the Thanx program. It's an easy way to earn points and get some free pizza at Dewey's. I enjoyed a free side salad just for signing up. I do enjoy some of their specialty pizzas, but tonight I created my own. I went with my standard pizza, Italian Sausage and Jalapeños. OMG, it was so delicious. The spices in the sausage and the extra kick from the jalapeños, rocked my world. My Peppercorn Ranch salad before the pizza was impressive, too. You really cannot go wrong with, Romaine lettuce, bacon, tomatoes, shaved Parmesan Cheese, red onion tossed in a Peppercorn Ranch dressing. Service is always friendly and attentive at Dewey's. Being a pizza restaurant and family friendly, it can get loud with the little ones running about. The tiny tots can watch the kitchen make pizza through big windows, so there will be squeals of excitement. It doesn't bother me, I just sit at the bar and giggle to myself watching their antics. We were in Webster tonight and a lot of the places had a long wait. My wife called Dewy's in Webster to see what kind of wait they had and was told that they couldn't tell her on the phone and that she'd have to go online to see. We did that and it said there wasn't a wait. It took us less than 10 minutes to get there and the hostess told us there was going to be a 45 minute wait. Why they couldn't have told us this on the phone is completely beyond my comprehension and about the worst customer service I have experienced. BTW, the woman with whom I was speaking started to tell me the website isn't reliable, which of course only made them look worse in my eyes. We've been going to Dewy's since they opened their Kirkwood location but there are plenty of other places to go. read more
