The image shows the interior of a restaurant with exposed brick walls decorated with small mirrors and framed pictures. Multiple flat-screen TVs are mounted on the walls, displaying different programs. The ceiling has a metallic finish with visible ductwork and ceiling fans. A bar area with bottles and bar equipment is visible in the background, with a row of chairs in front. Dining tables with chairs are arranged along the wall, and a few patrons are seated, facing the bar and TVs.

We stayed the night in Big Spring, TX on a road trip and decided to eat supper at Devour. Parking was quite full, as it is street parking, but we were able to find one spot in walking distance. We were a party a 5, and were sat immediately, which was great because our kids were hungry. Our server was friendly and helpful, and the food didn't take long to come out. My husband ordered the lasagna, and said it was great. I ordered the Cobb salad, which was very fresh and a good sized portion. Our son ordered the Margherita pizza, which was absolutely delicious! Our daughters split the cheeseburger and enjoyed it. Devour had the perfect variety of choices so that everyone in our family found something they really liked (not always easy with kids). This was a great ending to our day full of driving!

Greek salad, no olives, added grilled chicken. - A salad with grilled chicken pieces, cherry tomatoes, cucumber slices, and shredded lettuce is served on a black bowl. Two small containers of dressing are placed on the plate. A glass of light-colored beer is positioned to the right of the plate on a dark surface. The background shows a dimly lit dining area with chairs and tables.

It's hard to give a local "Joint" five stars, but this local fave is really great. It's a small restaurant, that's long and narrow. If you're trying to eat on a weekend, I'd suggest using their website and get on their "waiting list" as there are not many tables. I was here on a Tuesday night, and there were three tables available at 6:15. My server Nina was prompt and while they don't have draft beer, she was able to bring me a nice cold mug from a bottle. They use iPad type devices to order your food, so my salad was at my table in less than five minutes. The salad had fresh endive/lettuce and was very good with the grilled chicken (not frozen type) I had ordered with it. The atmosphere was lively, but not loud. I'd go back again.

The bar - The image shows a bar counter with shelves of liquor bottles and glassware. There are two wooden shelves mounted on a brick wall, holding various bottles of alcohol and upside-down glasses. A digital cash register and a small monitor are on the counter, along with bar tools and bottles. Underneath the counter, plumbing and storage items are visible. The setting appears to be a casual bar or restaurant with a brick interior.

The service at Devour is beyond excellent. While seated we had three people check on us to make sure everything was good. We ordered the stuffed jalapeños for a starter and they were yummy. We split a meat lovers pizza and then a piece of New York cheesecake with strawberries. All was delicious. The pizzas are baked in a brick oven and ours was delicious. Even the restrooms are stylish, clean and stocked. Our waitress Audrey was prompt, friendly and accommodating. A great first experience and we will definitely repeat.

Here's dinner. I'm impressed. Looks really good. Had to try the Cilantro Rice. - A restaurant meal includes a large grilled steak with grill marks, accompanied by yellow rice in a small black bowl, a baked potato topped with cheese and bacon bits in another black bowl, and a side salad with lettuce, corn, and dressing in a white bowl. The setting features a green wooden table with a glass of water, a glass of whiskey, and condiments, with chairs and a brick wall in the background.

Okay I had to give Devour some more love. Just so happened that Gracie was my server again. She remembered and started my order right. I'm trying a new appetizer (Pita and Spinach). On a side note I asked for my Astros game on the tv and Bam! Great job. More to come!

One of the most beautiful hotels I've ever had the privilege of staying in! Even before I get into…read morethe details, just know that if you're road tripping across Texas it is 100% worth driving an extra hour or two to stay here!! While the town of Big Spring isn't much to look at, this hotel has been resurrected from the dead and made to shine brighter than ever. Seriously, if you get the chance to look through the crazy renovation pictures in the lobby you have to see just how bad the condition was when the owners bought it! Despite the age, the elevators weren't worrying at all, and the woman at the front desk recommended a high floor to us for the view. I'm glad she did because it really was beautiful to watch the sun set across the vast flatness of Texas from the 11th floor. Before I get to the room, I have to shoutout how beautiful the lobby is. Grand staircase, beautiful decor, an antique car, informative history on the walls, AND an amazing bar and a great restaurant on site too. It's awesome, and my friend and I were both impressed by the drinks we got with dinner. We were all very satisfied with our dinners and the portions were generous. Customer service was also top notch in every aspect, and that's definitely not just because they gave us a delicious homemade chocolate chip cookie (omg so good). Now to get to the hotel room... first of all, it was HUGE! Probably the biggest hotel room I've ever stayed in. Two big beds with a generous amount of space around them, a full coffee bar at the entrance to the room, a big walk-in closet space, a vanity, and a huge bathroom that had a soaking tub AND a spacious shower stall. Honestly, we were stunned by the size of the room and that was only capped off by the comfort of the beds. After road tripping across Texas all day, these were absolutely magical. We'd wanted to stay in unique places on this road trip and I'm so glad we did because Hotel Settles isn't just beautiful, it's also comfortable and very luxurious in the accommodations and food / drink options on site! Highly recommend!!
