This was one of the best burgers I've had lately. It's in an out of the way diner with the name of the former tenant on the sign. Dell's Diner is now Neutral Ways, and it's worth the search if you're in the mood for a good hamburger!

Steak fingers, mashed potatoes and gravy, green beans.

This has a great breakfast and very friendly staff. The best flour tortillas I've ever had, even ordered some to go.

Friendly spot for a nice home style breakfast. Very nice waitress! Crispy bacon. The sign overhead still says Dell's.

But we will be back since the ambiance is a cut above the competition and the food was good too. The chicken fried chicken was very good, made with breast that was moist and tender and a generous serving of cream gravy.

From the start, the service set the tone. My server had that perfect balance--attentive, helpful, and genuinely engaged without hovering. It made the evening feel relaxed and easy. I started with the Parmesan fries because, honestly, who skips Parmesan fries when they're on the menu? They were crisp, flavorful, and just indulgent enough to feel like the right decision. For the entrée, I ordered the pan-seared salmon, and it did not disappoint. It was cooked to perfection, and the seasoning complemented the fish beautifully. The risotto was creamy and well-prepared, and the green beans had that fresh, crisp texture that tied everything together. The atmosphere added to the experience. Being set inside a beautifully restored historic property gave the place character. It felt like a spot where locals gathered--there was a familiarity in the room that made it feel like the place to see and be seen. And while it didn't hurt to walk in alongside the head of the local hospital (pure coincidence, and no, I wasn't a patient), the restaurant stood on its own merit. If you're driving through Big Spring or staying the night, Settles Grill was well worth the stop. It's a place where you don't "settle" at all--you simply have a very good meal in a setting that feels both welcoming and established.

I was worried we wouldn't have any fun date spots but let me tell YOU. This spot was amazing 10/10 will miss this food leaving more than anything. If they catered weddings we'd hire them. I am very happy that I found Saint Blaise as they hit all three of my marks for restaurants that I take customers to. Food: The food was great. I wanted to get the steak and potatoes but it was $50+ which I thought was a bit steep for just steak and potatoes. I opted for the blackened salmon which was cooked perfectly with delicious broccoli and mashed potatoes on the side that were also cooked perfectly. The gnocchi had a perfect consistency with a non-overwhelming sauce so also phenomenally done. The two drinks I got: Same Place and Maple Manhattan were well-made with each component complementing each other well and not overpowering one another. If you like tequila and manhattans I think you will be happy. Service: The servers were very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire visit especially with the waters. Huge kudos! Ambiance: I will say because the inside space is a bit tight and small, having conversation when the restaurant was busy proved a bit difficult but if that is the case they do have seating right outside in the lobby area and having conversations there should not be an issue. I will make sure to be back with customers here!
